Worst "five star" hotel I stayed in twenty years. I recently stayed at Kimpton Margot and had a thoroughly unpleasant experience. Frankly I want my money back for the two night stay. Here are the main issues I encountered: 1. Cleanliness: • The first room had visible stains on the bed. • The second room had long black hairs on the bed. 2. Noise: • The first room was extremely loud due to machine noise from above, making it impossible to sleep. • The second room was quieter, but there was constant noise from outside during the day. 3. Room Amenities: • The air conditioning in the second room was problematic, making the room ice cold regardless of the set temperature. 4. Breakfast: • The breakfast selection was extremely limited, with the buffet offering only croissants. Overall, my stay was very disappointing. I hope management will address these issues to improve the experience for future guests.

Overall our stay in Kimpton is amazing! Good hospitality, cleanliness, good front desk services, quick check in/out. Room is clean and wonderful, have the room ipad for us to choose amenities, room yoga class and etc. Love the mini bar, shoes and everything in kimpton! Definitely will come. Back again

Twin was very spacious. Travelling for work and was economical to share, including breakfast. Excellent sized room, decent in-room dining options and quality. Beyond expectations for a la carte breakfast, really smooth coffee. Gym was very well equipped, with light refreshments and storage available. Staff helpful, jovial, patient and friendly. Lovely, heritage building close to light rail and either end of Sydney CBD.

Five Star service I will stay again the facilities are so new

Great location, near Town Hall Station. Good breakfast and facilities. Very clean and stylish hotel.

Stylish & Comfortable Great to have a non classical hotel in Sydney CBD! The hotel was celebrating its grand opening during our stay, so very new. Service and setting (specially in Lobby) still need to be fine tuning.

I stayed on the first floor on the first night. The windows were all covered with frosted film and the dim light was extremely uncomfortable. After communication, it was better to move to the 4th floor the next day. The cleaning was not timely and not clean. I had to send 2 bath towels three times, but they still didn't arrive after more than half an hour. There are only Western pastries for breakfast, which I personally find very unpalatable. There are no children's products. I asked for children's products three times, but the ones delivered were all for adults. The only advantage is that the location is in the city center, which is more convenient.

Average hotel nothing special

The hotel existed and was not closed (23.09.30). Except for the small and impractical swimming pool, other services were perfect and the breakfast was great.

The location is very good, it is very convenient to go everywhere, the hotel is clean and quiet! There are also many businesses and restaurants around. It is a hotel worth staying in. I recommend it to friends in need!

The deposit has not been refunded and I have not responded to emails. I am speechless.

Except for the more formal breakfast, everything else is rubbish. There is no bathtub in the bathroom, and the toilet is not heated, so there is no high-end feeling. Environment: The corridor decoration feels like the style of 2000. On the first day of check-in, I lost something in the mini bar. I called the front desk, and she said that you can just say it’s not what you eat when you check out. Brother, I lost something. I was speechless during my stay. Hygiene: If you need to clean up, you need to tell the front desk. It is useless whether you hang a sign or not, so why do you need a sign? Service: There is no water in the room, and it will not be replaced for you after cleaning. You have to call the front desk to ask for it. What kind of service is it? You can only ask for two bottles a day. If you charge more, even if you didn’t change it for you a few days ago. In addition, I have stayed for 4 days, and the room rate includes breakfast. On the fifth day, the waiter suddenly asked me to sign a bill for breakfast. It is too unprofessional. Even if you don’t know me after 5 days, you can’t check it. Is breakfast included in my room rate? There is no scenery outside the window, only the opposite building can be seen while shaking hands with the building. To sum up, it's okay to experience breakfast, the hotel is very average, that's it.

The hardware condition of the hotel is good, the bed is very comfortable, and it is very fast. In addition, the hotel's breakfast is very good. The disadvantage is that there were a few bottles of wine missing in the minibar on the first day. After telling the front desk, I didn't get any feedback. Then on the third day, the coke I bought by myself disappeared in the minibar. It was the first time I stayed in a hotel and found this situation. It was still a 5-star hotel, and it felt too unsafe. In addition, it is quite incomprehensible that there is no bathtub in a 5-star hotel

The building has a sense of age, the location is very convenient, and the service is good. Recommended.
