Wynyard Hotel

Did not stay here but had dinner here on 2 nights out of 4 in Sydney !!! The food was on a par or better than a very expensive Barangaroo restaurant The difference was the Wynyard is a small corner pub with about 4 small crowded tables and the cook works in a miniscule work area at the end of the bar doing an amazing job. The staff were just brilliant, friendly and helpful, the pies were great ( I had the pie on 2 nights) The fish and chips were top class It was freezing cold outside and warm and noisy inside ( there was some kind of special football game on the second night or something. The state of oranges ???? )

Personalized phone calls rooftop great for beer and smoke bathrooms clean and tidy as so with room stairs bit daunting good old pub handy to train station and 7 eleven could do with more plants on rooftop other than that we were quite happy with the place boys over phone were very helpful even changed my stay to next night when flight was cancelled thanks guys
