"We were pleasantly surprised upon check in, as we did not expect a island hotel could be so clean and bright. Everything was functioning well. Except the TV, because it’s a nice big TV that is not connected to any source. Not sure whether it’s just us or the entire hotel.
Breakfast is decent.
Our only dissatisfaction is that we smell cigarettes smoke during our first night. We alerted the reception and we were asked to leave our doors opened for a few minutes to ventilate the room, and then to cover up the smell with air freshener."

"JUST STAY AWAY FROM THIS DISHONEST HOTEL.
While the hotel's facilities are adequate and its location offers acceptable proximity to the port, the poor service we experienced did not justify the significantly higher price we paid for a supposedly four-star resort.
Specifically, the bidet in our assigned room was not functioning. When we reported this, a front office supervisor named Ute was demonstrably dishonest, claiming that all rooms had non-functional bidets due to a 'western style' and offering more toilet tissue as a solution. This excuse proved false when we checked several other rooms of the same type and found their bidets to be working perfectly. Upon confronting Ute with this discrepancy, she continued to deny her initial statement, offering unreasonable excuses and failing to provide any apology or resolution. It was only after escalating the issue to the Manager on duty that we were finally moved to another room with a functioning bidet. The fact that a HOTEL SUPERVISOR LIED to keep us in a room with a known issue while others were available is unacceptable.
Despite the convenient location, I cannot recommend this hotel due to the substandard service and lack of transparency. There are likely other establishments in the area that offer a far superior experience for the price."

"Место хорошее рядом с черепахами . Но убирают виллу очень плохо , за неделю проживания убрали 2 раза , постель поменяли 1 раз !(((( на второй раз просто стряхнули веником с постели крошки , и не поменяли . Полы вообще никогда не мыли ( на вилле было очень много сороконожек 😭 ползли ночью прям по балдахину , пожаловалась ,оперативно переселили на другую виллу , там их было поменьше но ползали . В вотс апе быстро отвечают . Вода была из душа соленой и почти не лилась , горячей не было , но я так же об этом сообщила и всё исправили на пресную , хорошую воду с хорошим напором и горячую . Не понимаю почему сразу до заселения этого было не сделать . В целом , если бы изначально хорошо убирались и всё подготовили , то я бы с удовольствием приехала в следующем году ."

"Very beautiful place in front of the beach with an excellent staff and service. People are warm and very helpful if you have any questions or need any help. The rooms is clean and cozy.
The room for 2 is a bit small I will say, might need to choose a bigger option if you like having a bit more space. I will add that I thought it was a bit dark and missing some daily light inside. The bathroom outside with open sky was good until the rain and wind were too strong to actually use it. The environment around the hotel is very peaceful and not too busy compared to the center. You can easily rent a bike and go to the center at any time if you want. Very convenient. You have a very good restaurant next door with great selection or food and beverages as well."

I wish people didn't know how friendly and warm the staff at this hotel is.
I wish other people didn't know how happy it is to eat a delicious breakfast while listening to the sound of birds and carriages and the sea breeze.
I wish people didn't know how enjoyable it is to walk back to room with a clean and beautifully maintained garden.
Above all, I hope the others don't know how fantastic it is to sit on the beach in front of the hotel and drink beer while watching the sunset.
I hope that when I travel here again, people will notice what this place is good and it won't be so full that I won't be able to stay here.
I was planning to stay on the Gili for two days, but stayed for two more. Although I had to give up southern Bali tour, I was able to have a happier time thanks to it.

"The villa is located on the first line, right across the road from the beach and the ocean, which is where turtles come to swim. You can rent masks, fins, etc. inexpensively at the hotel. The villa is very basic, without any special amenities or a TV. There was a kettle, soap, and shampoo. The bed linen was good. There was hot water, and the air conditioning worked well. The main advantage is the location - a coral garden and many cafes are just steps away. Cons: there is no real service - there was no cleaning service for 3 days, and no staff came by at all. Water is only available for a fee at a nearby restaurant; there was no free option. Breakfast is à la carte (a choice of 5 set items). It was a little noisy at times, as boats are parked nearby and sometimes something is unloaded, and since the villa is right next to the road, you can hear people passing by and horses. But all this was compensated by the stunning view and coral gardens right from the porch 👍🏻"

GGuest UserIt's far from the port, but it's located in the north, so it's quiet, and Turtle Point and Sunset Point are close by, so the location is good. The staff is friendly, clean, and well-maintained. I stayed for 3 days and was satisfied!

GGuest UserVery great service from the staffs, everyone was friendly and helpful. Even before I arrived, the communication with the staff through WhatsApp was helpful.
The view from our room was breathtaking. One thing to note is there were quite a few rove beetles found in our room especially the balcony area (we went when it was rainy season).
The area of the room is large, even with added bed, we did not feel cramped at all. The toilet area is also large and clean, with the toilet and shower area separated with doors. The towels given are clean and fluffy.
Breakfast was amazing! All the food that we tried are delicious. (It is an a la carte type of breakfast)
All in all, we were very satisfied with our stay here and will definitely stay here again if we visit Lombok.

TTigrah12Amazing experience. The staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Greeting us on arrival with fresh coconut juice and friendly conversation.
We stayed at the one bedroom villa for four nights. The villa is beautiful, with a big private pool, kitchen, and sitting area. The room is open air, very well ventilated, with a mosquito net around the bed and a fan that blows directly on the bed from inside the net. There is even an AC unit behind the fan for extra comfort, although we found it unnecessary to use. The bathroom is clean and large with a freshwater shower and even hot water! I expected bugs would be a problem, but was surprised by how few were around. The staff brought breakfast to our villa each morning at the time we requested along with hot fresh coffee. (French press coffee. Not instant.) The staff even offered free laundry service for us! Aari, the staff member who catered to us during our stay, is passionate about vegan cooking and offered to give us cooking lessons during our stay.
All the staff spoke fluent English and another staff member mentioned he speaks French as well.
We could not have asked for a more perfect and restful location. Highly reccomend for couples or people looking to get away from the crowds. Please check this place out!

GGuest UserDon’t believe the pictures in the advertisement! They don’t reflect reality. The pictures pretend that the hotel is at least a 4 * location. The truth is that this is not the case! It is located at a very poor area in mid of the island where local people burn their trash including plastic. The smell is disgusting it is everywhere, in your room also during night and it burns in your eyes. The hotel is run by a group of very young unprofessional boys and I would like to emphasise that they are really friendly, kind and helpful and try to do their best. They also prepare breakfast in a kitchen which is disgusting! Therefore, I preferred to have breakfast at a proper place even though breakfast was included. See the attached fotos to get an impression what expects you and better choose another hotel if you want to enjoy your holidays. I had to pay 400 € for 3 nights, it is not worth half the price. I tried to get a reimbursement but the hotel didn’t accept. They obviously see the hotel as a cash cow and not a place where their guest should feel comfortable. This was very frustrating! At the end Trip. com accepted my complaint and offered me help. My advice: Choose a hotel at the beach, there are so many!

JJemmaPriyaChrisWe spent 4 nights at Jambuluwuk, was a really nice hotel and the rooms were spotless, however the pool areas weren't maintained very well- i know nature can't be helped but other resorts in Indonesia have staff cleaning the pools regularly to keep them looking nice. The pool bars never seemed to have staff there and overall the pool areas could just do with a bit of a refresh. Our 4 year old daughter did enjoy the play play park and animals arouns the resort. It was pretty expensive for bike rental (most places give free bikes in Gili for guests) and being on the quieter side of the island this was disappointing, especially as when I asked for a child seat I was told they only had one which was already being used (and would cost extra). You can however rent bikes for around 50k a day if you walk just outside. Mask rental was also fairly expensive compared to other places so would recommend just walking down the road a little bit. The beach om the front of the hotel is nice, good for sunset and snorkelling. For the price we paid we were happy but probably wouldn't stay again because of the distance to the busy area/ pools not being maintained.

GGuest UserMixed feelings — kind staff but disappointing overall.
First of all, a big thank you to the hotel staff, who were genuinely kind and attentive throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the issue isn’t the people — it’s the property itself. The photos online look beautiful, but in reality, the finishes and details just don’t match the pictures. Everything feels a bit cheap and unfinished.
For example, the pool area has small sofas but no cushions, so you can’t really relax comfortably by the water. In the rooms, several things were off — cracked flooring, a broken window, missing door handles (you have to lock the door from inside or outside every time), and other small issues that really add up. Considering the price, it’s quite disappointing, especially when there are nicer hotels nearby for less money.
We stayed in the Villa Fuego, which, as you can see on Google Maps, is located right next to the road — meaning it’s noisy, with scooters constantly passing by. It completely breaks the idea of a quiet, romantic getaway in a “private villa.” It’s a real shame, because the staff do their best, but the overall experience doesn’t live up to the expectations or the price.
Sadly, despite the warm hospitality, we left feeling that this stay was not worth it.

They are able to do their jobs but it's very basic and doesn't fit the brand image that they are trying to portray. The food quality was not of high standard and when the hotel is not full they cold probably provide a set menu for breakfast. It may not be as good at first, but for reducing food wastage and food related health it could be beneficial. Our stomachs weren't happy when we ate at the resort because of this. For staff, you can empower your workforce by rather having a few people who are highly skilled but in a variety of areas. Maybe doing family weekends and have a kids club going to get younger families witih kids under 12 to come, as I feel like this is a great resort for young families since the beach is calm and the pools are set up like that. There is a massive area on the one side of the common area that could possibly have a play area with a little crafts centre going. The location is far from most places so if the resort focused on uplifting this would probably help a lot. It really has a lot of potential.

I've stayed at this hotel twice, opting for the modern rooms. While the location is excellent – across from the beach and near the harbor – my experience was marred by some issues.
Cleanliness was average, with signs that the room could benefit from a deep clean. I found mould in the fridge, dirt around the shelves, and a noticeable stain on the floor that was missed during mopping.
Unfortunately, my stay was further tainted by a dishonest staff member who intentionally overcharged me for an iced latte. When I questioned the price, she acknowledged it was expensive without correcting the issue. To make matters worse, she gave me the wrong change. The next day, another staff member quoted a significantly lower price for the same drink.
While most staff members were polite and helpful, the presence of at least one dishonest employee is concerning. The food was hit-or-miss, but the hotel's location and some friendly staff aren't enough to outweigh the negative experiences.
I'll think twice before staying here again, and I hope the hotel addresses these issues to provide a better experience for future guests.
