Gili Eco Villas

This was the most beautiful place to spend a few days with our family of 5 (kids aged 11, 13 and 17). The villa was absolutely magical but please be mindful that it is an open air villa and Gili T is very hot so it can be quite warm sitting in the open air spaces. The bedrooms are very well air conditioned and I loved the outdoor bathroom. We visited during Ramadan and I also loved hearing the Karan playing faintly in then distance from the local Mosque overnight. We hired bicycles from reception and explored the beautiful island. We hired snorkels for $2.50 each and snorkelled right off the beach (wearing reef shoes is a MUST) and saw a huge variety of brightly coloured fish. I loved the included breakfast where fresh fruit and breads were served with fresh juice and then you can choose an item from the breakfast menu. We also ate lunch and dinner here which were lovely. We arrived at the island unwell for our last stop and the staff could not have been more accommodating in sending smoothies and coconut water to our room. Arranging a doctor late at night for my son and Keeping an eye on my 17 year old daughter who loved the freedom of riding around on the bicycle while we were sick. The view from our villa (number 3) to the beach was amazing. I would love to return perhaps without the younger kids as they found it very hot and didn’t enjoy it as much. We noted that there were very few Australians at the resort with most of the other guests being European which also made this feel more like a real holiday!!! I want to reinforce that the staff at Gili Eco Villa’s were outstanding and couldn’t have done more to make our stay as memorable as it was.

Great bedding and pillows. Very friendly staff Great size room Good air con Not good internet Excellent restaurant Would certainly go back again. Book a bike for multiple days to get the best price. They have ice cream which is made local and delicious.

This a horrible hotel!!!!!🤬 I'm really really upset My family booked this hotel for 3 nights with 6 people. There was one shower room and there was no screen in the window. The lights were dark, the bedding was dirty, and the socket wasn't enough There was only one toilet on the second floor, so we had to share with four people There was alot creaking sound on the first floor, When someone walked on the second floor, people on the first floor couldn't sleep!!!!!😡 There wasn't even a hair dryer here! They didn't tell us beforehand that they didn't have it My family got rained on in the evening and couldn't dry their hair, so we caught a cold. The hotel said they'd give it the next day, but the manager said The hotel has only three hairdryers, so other family members are using them, so they can't do it for us. That's why we couldn't use the hair dryer for two days I don't understand it. There are a lot of villas there!!!!!! They didn't clean up until I came back to my room after diving in the afternoon So I could see dead lizards and full bugs in the living room! That was so so terrible The hotel drove me crazy, so I said I would go out and asked for a refund for the rest of the money. The hotel manager apparently said she had permission from her boss for a refund and would return half of what I paid But they changed their words Eventually, I didn't get all the money back...... The hotel is no one didn't take responsibility Even they didn't say anything to the Chinese who had to check out, so they checked out late, so my family had to wait in the lobby for two hours!!!!! We didn't get any service It costs nearly $400 a night! I moved to the next hotel is Nero North It was a lot more pleasant, with two shower room and hair dryers and excellent service. It's the worst in my life... ----------------------------------------------------- 진짜 개 쓔뤠기 호텔 절대 비비비추 샤워실은 1개고 2층엔 꼴랑 변기통 하나고, 콘센트도 없고 방충망도없어서 벌레 쩔구요 2층에 삐그덕 거리는 소리가 심해서 1층사람들은 진짜 잠도 못자요 심지어 저희 가족 6명이 묵는데 헤어드라이기가 없어요...ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 첨부터 헤어드라이기 없다는 소리 안했구요 저녁에 비맞고 씻고나서 없길래 달랬더니 , 지금 없다고 다음날 준다고 했어요 근데 담날 다이빙 하고 돌아와서도 안줘서 말했더니, 자기네들이 헤어드라이기가 3개뿐이라 다른방에 다 쓰고있어서 저희 못준대요^^.. 결국 아빠랑 우리가족 단체로 감기걸렸구요 청소도 안해놔서 거실에 죽은 도마뱀에 벌레 잔뜩 꼬인채로 있고.... 진짜 너무 화가나서 1박요금만 낼테니 나머지 금액 환불해달라고했어요 당장 나간다고 했는데 여자 매니저가 분명 자기 보스랑 확인했다고 3박4일중 2일 금액 돌려준다고 금액 까지 보여주고 아고다로 신청하면 된다고했는데, 아고다로 신청하니 환불 거절하드라구요? 그러면서 자기들은 그런말 한적없대요 그여자 매니저 바꿔달랬더니 갠 매니저도 아니고 휴가라서 집에갔다고 ㅋㅋㅋ 다행히 왓챕 캡쳐한게 있고 너무화나서 따졌더니 아고다는 해줄게 없다고하고 겨우겨우 3분의1가격만 돌려받았어요 진짜 개 뮈췬 개 싸뀌꾼 여기 좋다는 사람들은 다 였먹으라는 심보인가봐요 참 체크인 할땐 앞에쓰던 중국인들이 체크아웃 안하고 수영하고있는데 아무 조치도 안취해서 저희 로비에서 2시간 기달렸어요 ^^ 결국 바로 나와서 옆에 네로노스 호텔갔는데 한국인이 사장님이라 훨씬좋고 깨끗하고 가격도 훨씬싸고 서비스도 최고에요 저희가족 숙소 옮기고 환호성 질렀어요 너무좋다고.... 차라리 거기가세요 돈버리고 싶은 여기 가시구요

The staff was very friendly. The location was location directly at the beach and and not so crowded. The accommodations and the restaurant were very good - in total very very happy with Gili Eco Villas!

We didn't stay here, but we went here almost every day for drinks and dinner. It all started with a simple cocktail and we fell in love with all the staff, and kept coming back. The food, wine and cocktails and service were all amazing and we cannot recommend this place enough!! I cannot wait to come again and see ketut and all the others :-)

Second time staying here. Excellent place to stay on Gilli T. Nice quiet area, rooms are spacious and clean. Staff are super helpful!! Hired bikes from Villas, very easy. Food in the restaurant is also very good. Lava cake is exceptional!!

I have been traveling for 15 years, visiting different countries, and this was the best staff ever! They wanted to know our names. Wayan, the manager, was super helpful and kind. I only stayed for 2 days and I felt like at home. We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa. Each room had an AC and the bathroom was amazing! The chef makes extraordinary food, especially the seafood!

We were given the ‘older’ villa and we requested the newer ones in the 3rd day. Newer ones weee relatively clean and much more comfortable to stay in. The management should consider doing upgrading to their older villas. The food was good and also the customer service was superb. Beachfront nice location.

Beautiful Villas in a beautiful place. Staff & service was amazing, food was excellent. We definitely will be back again next year . Thank you Gili eco for having my family .
