Very good hotel with few chalets near the desert. Equipments are good and staff is very friendly. The view from the chalet and breakfast room is beautiful. We have appreciate the quiet of the place not too far from the center. Easy to park big car ( with tent on the roof)

The staff was really nice, they called a driver for us and Terence drove us to and from the city (please note that the lodge is far from the center). Our bungalow had stunning views of the dunes and was comfortable. The pressure and the temperature of the shower were great. The breakfast was nice. The only problem was that we were freezing cold both nights - there was no heating, just a tiny fireplace that we had to deal with. It took us forever to lighten it and the firewood wasn't enough to heat the huge room. It would have been nice to have the fire on upon arrival. In lodges like this one, it is not acceptable to be cold in your room. Also, the lodge is too far away from the center, hence 4 stars. We would have preferred a heated room near the center.

Wow what a great place to stayed over for 13 days. Very friendly staff. So helpful. Very good breakfast varieties. Lovely quiet place. Beautiful views. Neat accommodation. Lovely place Receptionist ans Margaret very helpful and arrange activities for you on request. Will definitely recommend Desert Breeze Lodge. Thank you for a wonderful time.

It was amazing! Every detail is full of creativity and love. The view is outrageous , the staff extremly helpful, the breakfast is excellence, Magret is a great Host ! Thank You for this amazing experience and memory, we keep it in our heart ❤️

Exceptional design and high quality furnishings. One pays for the view of the dune belt and Swakop River bed, which is superb. Good breakfast and very peaceful surroundings. Staff were kind, though perhaps less warm here than elsewhere. No aircon, which helps with the quiet and natural character, but also leaves rooms a little stuffy. Unreliable WiFi and no TV. Perfect for those seeking solitude and a closer connection to nature, but a bit overpriced for those seeking a full-service hotel.

The decor and design is exceptional, with the view of the dunes truly its selling point - deservedly so. Interior and linens to a high standard, with a solid breakfast. That said, the hotel staff come across as overly self-satisfied - the checkin briefing was literally a list of things that the hotel would *not* offer! No TV and no aircon are surely in keeping with the eco friendly credentials, but no water without purchase is an annoyance; overall my verdict is that insofar as the hotel is beautiful, it is also overpriced, I’ll chose somewhere more relaxed and friendlier, for a better price, next time.

The Desert Breeze is absolutely the best location in Swakop for its peace and quiet atmosphere and unbeatable views of the dunes. We stayed for the weekend and can highly recommend the Desert Breeze Villa and Bungalows. Very comfortable rooms and wonderful friendly and helpful staff. Thank you Margaret, Phillipine and Mirjiam!

The most beautifully located lodge in all of Swakopmund, with top quality accommodation and a delicious breakfast. This is the second time we have stayed at Desert Breeze and it is definitely our first choice of accommodation when visiting Swkopmund. Each luxurious chalet overlooks the red dunes, you cannot believe you are just minutes away from town, and the staff are really professional, helpful and friend.
