The hotel was great, staff was very friendly and helpful. The close proximity to the beach was special. We enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant very much, all in all a very pleasant experience!

Great Hotel and lovely staff. Good food and wine! Nice location and tours can be arranged through the Front Desk. We did the Sandwich Harbor tour which was a blast!

Let’s be clear, this is a three star hotel, so if you have been living the high life in lodges, you may have to adjust your expectations. But it is a very good, functional. three star hotel to base yourself in the interesting town of Swarkopmund. The hotel has a secure gated car park with an entrance door into reception and the friendly staff. We were quickly checked-in for a two-night stay and soon on our way to our room. Our room was fine; clean, comfortable and with all the required basics. It was quiet and afforded a good night’s sleep. Breakfast seemed to be Namibian standard: cereals; fruit and yoghurt, pastries, and a selection of omelettes (which were very good). It also has one of those old fashioned but wonderful toasters that brown the bread just right (with instructions not to adjust the settings). The hotel is really well located directly opposite the aquarium, and just a five minute walk from the Jetty (where we took dinner on pre-booked reservations, rather than in the hotel). The Beach Hotel proved to be a very good base for our stay in Swarkopmund, and we would happily stay again.

Well positioned hotel in Swakopmund. Nice breakfast. Secure parking. Rooms a little dingy with very dark heavy furniture but bathroom fine. Staff helpful. Can recommend for a short stay.

The hotel has excellent sea views and is located close to all the restaurants and shops in Swakopmund. The restaurant at Beach Hotel is also a great option. The staff were all very friendly and helpfull. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed for our stay.

Very nice hotel located in a calm area of Swakopmund next to the beach. We received a really big family room, with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a kitchen. We felt spoilt! The staff was very friendly, rooms were clean and the food was great. The hotel has its own parking area only for guests.
