In addition to the lakeside facilities, Granliden is also home to one of the oldest golf courses in the State of New Hampshire. People first took up golf clubs at Granliden and played a few informal holes around the original summer boarding house. In the early part of the 20th century Alex Findley was hired to design a 9 hole layout for the new Granliden Hotel. In the nineteen-twenties, the course was redesigned by renowned golf course architect Walter Travis.Granliden is home to two true clay courts, and two Nova Pro-Clay courts that have the feel and play of clay courts but are less affected by the weather and are playable almost immediately after a rain. The Nova Pro-Clay courts are also illuminated for play after dark!The swimming pool is located adjacent to the Nova Pro-Clay tennis courts. The pool measures 30 feet wide by 60 feet long, is heated, and open during the summer season.
