The best home stay in the town. 5 days in Bandung touring hotels and homestays, luckily the 2 nights here already had the best feeling compared to the other 3 hotels. The double combo restaurant and garden is really beautiful, just like in the sales window. Perfect view, restaurant, rooms, toilets are super clean and smell good, this is the main thing. I don't feel disgusted about staying here. The pillowcases are changed every day, this is really great. The room interior and location from the front to the inside of the room are really the best. Very beautiful. The unique, aesthetic lift reaches the basement so you can drag suitcases, you don't need to lift them, but you still have help when you lift them with security upstairs. And how come the elevator is really cute, bro? Located on iconic Asia Afrika street, this hotel offers great location. Overall the quality is just ok, considering this is an old hotel. Some notes: - the sliding partition in the shower did not work, so I have to take the shower carefully in order not to splash too much water into the dry area - the elevator broke down on Saturday. I had to wait 30 minutes just to go from 4th floor to the 1st floor. If this is scheduled maintenance, then why did they not plan ahead to avoid high season? If this is not a scheduled maintenance, then I doubt their safety standard. Such a shame for a hotel with iconic location, too bad I will not be coming back to this hotel.

I recently stayed at Braga Hotel in Bandung and had a mixed experience. Positive Aspects: The hotel’s location is excellent, making it convenient to explore the city. The breakfast spread was impressive, offering a wide variety of choices to suit different tastes. A special mention goes to the jamu lady, whose homemade jamu added a unique and delightful touch to the dining experience. Additionally, the staff was very prompt in addressing in-house requests, which was appreciated. Areas for Improvement: Cleanliness was a major issue during my stay. There were visible moulds on the sink and toilet sealers, which was disappointing. One of the two rooms I booked had a choked toilet, which added to the inconvenience. The frosted toilet doors lacked privacy, and the unlocked doors made it worse, causing discomfort for guests. The staff’s responsiveness to certain situations also left room for improvement. When I sought assistance in booking Woosh, the staff simply replied that they were unable to help, without offering any alternative solutions. A more proactive approach in such situations would have been appreciated. While the hotel does have its merits, addressing these concerns could significantly enhance the guest experience.

The plus is the strategic location, the hotel lobby smells clean and aesthetic, the rooms in the bad area are comfortable and spacious and there are lots of pillows. The minuses start from the elevator lobby which is very small, when you enter the room the room is small and crowded, there is no full body mirror to see the full body, then you don't understand that the edge of the window is a platform, not a drawer, instead it becomes narrow and the wallpaper is better just replaced with plain paint . The toilet flooded because the absorption was in the corner so it didn't recede quickly. Likewise, the car parking has to be valeted, so if you want to get off you have to make sure you have everything outside. Since yesterday we were staying there was an unexpected incident, because on the 8th floor the earthquake shaking was extraordinary. JD, we decided to check out at 1 am. JD didn't have time to try breakfast in the morning. Next time you can stop by this hotel again. Hopefully the minuses will be fixed again
