Villa Antigua is very nice hotel located in the centre of Sucre. Built in the 18-sixties as a mansion, it was completely renovated in 2009. The hotel offers 21 rooms over 3 floors, and has a garden, a nice patio, a large top floor terracce, a gym & steambath, a breakfast restaurant, and a charming café. Free Wi-Fi. Staff is friendly and helpful. Our room was adequately furnished & decorated, with table & chair, TV & fridge, a high ceiling, wardrobe & safe, and a good queensize doublebed. We had a separate bathroom with toilet, washbasin & shower over the bath. The large window opens into the patio but has no mosquito screen. All was very clean. The buffet breakfast is good: bread, rolls & toast, ham & cheese, eggs made to order, butter & marmalade, fruit & juice, cereals, yoghurt & mineral water, tea & coffee. We found Vila Antigua comfortable and very quiet and we had a good stay. Good value-for-money. Highly recommended.

Reception staff helpful in getting my bag up to the third floor (no lift). Wifi good at reception and in breakfast room (one floor up), but very unstable in my top floor room, despite separate rooter just outside. Large room - however one small radiator not enough to get it warm enough during limited hours of operation. Beware of very hot shower - turn up warm tap slowly! Good breakfast buffet - eggs prepared separately on request. Convenient location close to central square.

Bel hôtel très bien situé à 350 m de la place principale, il suffit de descendre la rue. En montant sur la terrasse panoramique on a une belle vue sur les alentours. Juste en face de l'entrée de l'hôtel se trouve le couvent Santa Clara et son musée qui valent la visite! Lit et salle de bain correct. Petit déjeuner buffet comportant tout le nécessaire. Nous y avons passé 3 nuits et conseillons cet établissement.

L'hôtel est vraiment très beau de style colonial et avec une terrasse au 3° étage qui offre de belles vues. Pas de problème de propreté. Mais le service n'est pas au niveau du prix que l'on paye (il fait partie des plus chers à Sucre). Aucune attention dans la chambre, le minimum serait une bouteille d'eau. Pas de verre dans la salle de bains, on se rince les dents au robinet (on est dans un 4*...!!). Petit déjeuner moyen, l'employée responsable du petit déjeuner ne se soucie absolument pas de nous, elle ne propose pas les œufs, il faut les demander à tel point que pendant 2 jours je n'en ai pas eu car je croyais qu'il n'y en avait pas. En conclusion, mis à part les réceptionnistes qui sont très sympas, l'attention au client est inexistante. Professionnel de l'hôtellerie ça me déçoit de voir un si bel hôtel si mal géré. En fait cet hôtel compte uniquement sur son architecture. Dommage.

El hotel está bien ubicado, el personal es muy amable y servicial, le puse este puntaje debido principalmente que cuando uno elige esta categoría de hotel pretende que el desayuno esté a ese nivel Dicen que es por protocolo COVID. Muy pobre y de calidad inferior, todavía hay que hacer el pedido el día anterior y lo sirven en la habitación, con los problemas que eso trae, es una pena. En La Paz y Santa Cruz hemos estado en hoteles similares y los desayunos eran buffet
