First visit, fast check in and no stress in lobby. Got a super nice room in 3rd floor with a balcony towards the arena. Very clean and delicate beds and furniture. View from room was impressive with a balcony and full control over the cricket ground. Restaurant had a service minded staff and on of the best Fish and Chips. Breakfast was also splendid with all elements of a Full English breakfast. Overall a very good experience.

Stayed here a while back whilst on a business trip. The room was huge and I was so impressed with the bed and linen I emailed them when I got home to find out the make. Great bathroom and the little touches like the sweets in the fridge were fab. Ate in the restaurant and quality and portions were great. Staff throughout the hotel were a credit. Will look forward to another stay

Staff great, good location, restaurant food was lovely, there was a wide range of breakfast products which were replenished often making sure no one missed out on anything. Room was really good size and clean. check in was easy. Nice bar area, with very friendly staff. There was one downside, but it was dealt with immediately, our first night at the hotel we had a really bad night's sleep. The double bed was very uncomfortable, it had a very noticeable dip in the middle which we were constantly rolling into, our joints were sore and achy in the morning and we were extremely tired. We went to reception after breakfast, to bring the matter to the staff's attention. We spoke to Eve, Front office manager, she couldn't have been more helpful, she immediately offered to move us to another room, which we were grateful for, she said it may take a while. However we returned to our room and in no time at all she phoned to say that a room was ready and she would bring up the key. Eve arrived and told us she had upgraded us to a top floor room with a king bed that had a new mattress, she also enhanced my points as I am an IHG Member. We cannot praise Eve enough for dealing with us so quickly and professionally she certainly went above and beyond. That night we slept so well. Thank you for looking after us so well.
