Such a beautiful environment and very friendly staff that took care of my daughter and I. Highly recommended for anyone coming alone, with family , with kids. The staff is very accommodating and they even made sure we ate after getting to the hotel late.

From check in to checkout the staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived early and managed to check us in our room early. We also had to checkout early morning so they provided a takeaway breakfast box! The front desk lady and the hotel manager were very accommodating and great to chat with. The hotel is only 2-3 minutes from the beach, shops and famous park with its night street food. A great deal for a stay in stone town.

The service at Kisiwa House is excellent, a special shoutout to Zulfa and Esther, they made our stay here extra special and comfortable. Kisiwa House also has beautiful architecture and quite tasty dinner options. Would definitely recommend to everyone.

Kisiwa House shines not only for its historic charm but also for the impeccable organization of its team, led by a remarkable leader who proudly states he is not just the manager but a true guide (Tiba). From check-in to check-out, every detail flowed seamlessly, thanks to the admirable teamwork among the staff. Their professionalism and warmth created an inviting atmosphere where each department worked in perfect harmony. Tiba himself checked in regularly to ensure everything was perfect, adding a personal touch to our experience. Staying at Kisiwa House felt like being part of a well-orchestrated symphony. I left knowing I had been in the best hands and can’t wait to visit again!

The server and chef were superb! The room was very comfortable. The view unbeatable. The shower was very good. So easy access to town. Don’t miss the Freddie Mercury museum ! We are the champions! They are! The hotel is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It felt like staying at a luxurious home away from home, where every guest is treated with individual care. The location couldn’t be better! Kisiwa House is tucked right in the heart of Stone Town, within walking distance of the main attractions like Forodhani Gardens and the Old Fort. It's perfect for exploring the narrow streets, enjoying local markets, and soaking in the coastal atmosphere.

Tucked away in a quiet side street, this old merchant's house is an example of understated luxury. Attentive, friendly service with everything in the room working perfectly - WiFi, hot water, and a very comfortable bed. Will return again.

Came here for my honeymoon and stayed for two weeks, it was perfect! The staff was so caring, welcoming, and always made sure we were taken care of. Amazing walkable location if you’re planning to stay in Stonetown, close to Forodhani and waterfront. The hotel was beautifully designed and had amazing shared spaces. The rooms are well taken care of and super restful and properly stocked. I could not ask for a better stay. Thank so much to Hassan for providing trip suggestions and arrangements from rental cars to tour guides and Zulfa for always providing a great breakfast experience and adjusting on our likings! All of the staff was one step ahead to provide a great visit in Zanzibar. We 100% will be back in the future! Asante sana!
