I was in town for a concert at the Bryce Jordan center (4 min drive from Inn) and it was perfect. You can valet for $25 with unlimited in and outs or self park at the garage but have to pay every time you go in and out. The room was AMAZING I stayed on the 3rd floor, bed was beyond comfortable and I honestly fell in love with the bathroom! I will definitely be booking here again if I’m ever in town again and recommend it to anyone looking to book!

The Nittany Lion Inn is the place to stay on campus! The white out game was a hit & the Inn provided the prefect place to recharge & refuel for more Penn State fun! From the popup bar to late night snacks available in the lobby the Inn has it covered.

I loved this place for our group who were staying for a business meeting soon after they opened. The rooms were really well done in a very upscale manner, the service was spot on and our meeting went perfectly without any hiccups. We dined in the restaurant and had a great time with fantastic food. The Chef even came out and thanked us while describing all of the dishes we had. The bar was a great place to catch the Thursday Night Football game too with awesome drinks and food. This is a job well done in reopening an iconic place in State College, I will be back!

The remodel is outstanding. The location is perfect, close to campus and downtown. A beautiful, historic hotel. Great dining options from breakfast to dinner and cocktails after. The Bloody Mary/Mimosa bar on game day morning was the perfect way to start the day!

Very comfortable and clean room, with room darkening shades, plush towels, and even a shower seat. Enjoyed the apples in the lobby, carrying out an old tradition. The bathroom was only stocked with shampoo and conditioner, no soap or lotion. There were containers for cotton balls and q-tips but they empty. There was one overhead light in the shower and the only other light was behind the mirror, so it was quite dim. There was no bottled water and only one water glass for two people. Three coffee pods were in the room, but no tea bags, plenty of sugar and creamers. The HVAC system was quite loud, waking us up when it came on. Plenty of grab bars were in the bathroom and shower which is helpful if you need the assistance, one was behind the toilet which was puzzling. We intended to eat at Lionne (their website claims it's open on Monday) but it was closed, along with the cocktail bar. Our other option was Tripletts where the staff needs quite a bit of training. We were seated for 15 minutes before a server approached our table to see if we wanted anything. They had looked over at us several times so they were aware we were there. It wasn't crowded at all for a Monday night. I hope they work out their kinks before too long. Nittany Lion Inn was always the premier place to stay at Penn State.

The hotel is gorgeous inside and the location can’t be beat! Google has this hotel at 3 stars and it is FAR from that…more like 4-5 stars! The renovation is groomers and the staff was very friendly. We had a few small struggles with a newly opened room such as no phone and bathroom trash can yet they fixed these things quickly. We loved the hotel! The lounge 1855 is beautiful and great cocktails/apps! We enjoyed Triplett’s for a few drinks and dinner also. Kristy was friendly and helpful! Dakota was great at the front desk with helping us as well! Loved the Inn!

The renovation was nicely done. Rooms very comfortable. We obviously paid top dollar since it was a football weekend. Triplett's was complete chaos on Friday night. Tables were not bussed. Empty glasses all over the patio. Waited 30 minutes to NOT be waited on for a drink.... so went to the bar to be served and stood for another 20 minutes before I was waited on by a less than cordial bartender. In fact he was quite annoyed. I was greeted with "What do you want?" Never got a thank you when I paid the tab. Very unprofessional. Had one cocktail and left.

Simply still the BEST, the Gold standard ! The entire place was renovated from head to toe with the Lobby Lounge featuring lush leather couches, fireplace, beautiful banquets and a patio to relax on. Special thanks to Kurt as he made my family “ not want to leave “ as my daughter is considering Penn State for college- his attention to detail from the time we arrived from dawn to dusk didn’t go un noticed. For anyone wanting the full “Penn state” experience i highly rec this hotel, the charm and location of it make it all worth it. A shout out to Karl as he didn’t stop servicing his guests from the front desk to valet to bussing tables.
