"I stayed alone at One Central Hotel this time, and overall, it was a good value-for-money choice. Its central Cebu City location is very convenient for getting around, with malls and transport hubs nearby, which is a big plus for solo travelers. The room is simple but clean and tidy, and the bed is comfortable enough for a few nights' stay. The biggest highlight was the buffet breakfast; there's a good variety, leaning towards Filipino flavors but with Western options too. It tasted great, and I was satisfied every morning. However, there were some noticeable downsides, such as slow elevators, requiring a wait during peak hours. Soundproofing is average, and I was occasionally disturbed by hallway noise or outside traffic. While the rooftop pool offers nice views, it's quite small, feeling more like an added amenity than a main feature. Overall, this hotel is best suited for solo travelers on a reasonable budget who prioritize convenient transportation. If you have high expectations for hotel quality or quietness, you might find it a bit ordinary."
