"Room: Very new and comfortable, excellent! Environment: Great, very clean, and surrounded by a ton of affordable and convenient supermarkets and snack shops. Shuttle Service: Excellent, wake-up calls, and timely pick-up/drop-off, no need to worry! Service: Fantastic, both the front desk staff and the cleaning ladies were very enthusiastic! Overall, I think it surpasses a four-star hotel. I highly recommend it in every aspect! 👍👍 They even gave a small gift upon checkout, the animals in the courtyard are adorable, and you can see planes flying overhead. If I had to find a fault, it would be that the entrance is a bit narrow, but it's nothing major!"

Hotel near Tian'anmen Square and Wangfujing Area,Beijing
The hotel is adjacent to the Forbidden City in Beijing with excellent transport links. It is an easy 10‑minute walk to Tiananmen Square, the Great Hall of the People and the National Centre for the Performing Arts, making it very convenient for guests to attend the flag‑raising ceremony. Wangfujing Commercial Street is just a 12‑minute walk away. Direct subway access is available to city‑wide attractions, cultural sites and Universal Beijing Resort. On the 8th floor, a spacious, stunning terrace — the only hotel terrace in the core area — offers a panoramic view of the Forbidden City. Guests can admire the imperial charm of red walls and yellow‑glazed tiles while enjoying a peaceful, secluded retreat tucked within the city. Guest rooms are stocked with an assortment of complimentary welcome minibar drinks and well‑rounded amenities, ensuring a comfortable and memorable stay.

"Apart from the renovation which we were told beforehand, the room we had was dark (probably because it was a windowless room), humid, aircon wasn’t strong but they provided a fan. Could smell urine even with the toilet seat covered, toilet door was closed, to a point that i was awaken by the foul smell. Had to spray perfume to have it barely covered. Ventilation was super bad. Cons aside, service was good, fridge in room had free drinks. Would recommend to book a window room if you had to even though friend that stayed in the window room said it was bad too. There’s a mall few minutes walk away which was a plus. Good view on the reception floor too."

Hotel near Happy Valley,Beijing
No. 11 of 4-Star Select Hotels in Beijing
We are located in the middle of Dongsihuan Road, Chaoyang District, Beijing, next to Dajiuting Bridge (southeast corner), with direct access to Universal Studios. Convenient transportation. China World Trade Center CBD business district, Beijing East Railway Station, Beijing Institute of Technology, Shuangjing Fuli City, Panjiayuan Antique City, Happy Valley Amusement Park scenic spots are all within easy reach, and can be reached in about 10 minutes by car. Jingli Hotel belongs to Jingli's high-end boutique business brand, the overall design style is modern and fashionable.

"I stayed in Beijing for 10 days this time and spent 7 consecutive nights at Jingli Hotel. The hotel's location and the green environment downstairs are excellent. The room was clean and tidy, and the cleaning lady was very enthusiastic. There's a laundry room for convenience, and downstairs, they offer self-service mineral water, fruit, coffee, and warm congee. The hotel also has a gym. The room's soundproofing is good, and you can see the bustling street outside the window. For the same price, Jingli Hotel's facilities, soundproofing, and service are much better than other hotels. There were also quite a few European and American guests staying here. Finally, I'd like to commend the cleaning lady in her 50s who is responsible for the public areas on the first floor. She was warm and enthusiastic, even helping me with my laundry for free, and was very polite. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Beijing. I hope Jingli Hotel can maintain this level of service, and I wish them prosperous business!"

Hotel near Houhai Area,Beijing
[The Heart of the Capital] Located in Xitao Hutong, Jiugulou Street, Xicheng District, which is imbued with a strong flavor of old Beijing, the hotel is adjacent to the main route of the North Second Ring Road. It offers direct access to renowned destinations such as Peking Union Medical College Hospital, Tiananmen Square/Wangfujing, ensuring convenient transportation. The hotel commands a view of the Second Ring Road to the north, the Drum Tower to the south, Shichahai to the west, and the Lama Temple to the east. It is also in close proximity to Yandai Xiejie, Nanluoguxiang Food Street, and other attractions, providing everything one might need. [Mansion Property] The hotel property is a renovated ancient building with a history of four hundred years. The courtyard dates back to the 31st year of the Wanli reign period. Emperor Yingzong of the Ming Dynasty (Zhu Qizhen, the sixth emperor of the Ming Dynasty) bestowed a residence upon Liu Jialin, a high-ranking official in the Imperial Palace. This mansion is the predecessor of the hotel. The charm of Beijing's architecture is on full display throughout the courtyard and the lobby, with carved beams and painted rafters, upturned eaves and bracket sets, reminiscent of the prosperity of a noble mansion in bygone days. The winding covered corridors run from north to south, the wooden carved decorations exude a pure and authentic texture, and the grey brick pavement provides a stable and grounded feel, leading to the depths of the courtyard in a meandering path. [Smart Hardware and Software] All guest rooms in the hotel are equipped with human body induction systems, eliminating the need for card insertion to access electricity. Guests can open doors remotely via a mobile app and control lights, curtains, air conditioners, televisions, and other devices using intelligent voice commands. The mattresses are from the century-old imported brand King Koil, and the high-quality, all-cotton, satin-finished bedding offers a cloud-like, comfortable sleep. Each room is (standardly equipped with) an intelligent toilet. The bathrooms feature high-end toiletries from POLA, a brand favored by the Japanese royal family, and dense, misty rainforest showerheads. The hotel is also equipped with a sunroom, a book bar, a café, and more, allowing guests to enjoy the scenic views of old Beijing hutong courtyards while relaxing. [Culinary Delights of the Capital] Upon checking in for the first night, guests will receive a complimentary buffet at the hotel restaurant, which combines Chinese and Western cuisines and showcases the flavors of old Beijing. A wide variety of Beijing-style delicacies and pastries are available, including fried sauce noodles, ruyi wontons, hutouzi (a type of pancake), shaobing with meat filling, aiwowowo (a sweet glutinous rice dumpling), fried crispy snacks, hawthorn cake, and more. [Highlight of the Courtyard] The hotel integrates local characteristics into its design and experience, naturally combining business travel with leisure travel attributes. It is a must-stay mid-to-high-end hotel for urban exploration. You can feel the charm of this city from the design-filled lobby, the details of the corridors, and the views outside the room windows. Let you always look forward to the next city adventure.

"What a pleasant surprise, this courtyard hotel! At night, the red lanterns illuminate the wooden beams, creating a fantastic ambiance in the traditional Chinese courtyard with stunning views. The entire room is equipped with Xiaodu smart voice control, allowing you to turn lights on/off and play music with just a voice command – the level of smart tech far exceeded my expectations. The room was clean, tidy, cozy, and comfortable. Overall, the experience completely surpassed what I anticipated. It's definitely worth coming back to, and this will be my first choice for future stays!"

Hotel near Jinsong and Panjiayuan Area,Beijing
No. 5 of 4-Star Select Hotels in Beijing
The hotel is a designer type hotel, the design utilizes the concept of “modern bones, natural clothes, oriental soul” for the overall design planning. In the chaotic and impetuous times, through the understanding of life, believe that people belong to nature, superimposed on the Oriental culture teaches us the design principle of less is more, and ultimately through the hotel carrier to euphemize the expression of the return to a healthy, real, natural state of life. The hotel is located in the core area of the East Third Ring Road in Chaoyang District, adjacent to the China World Trade Center, with extremely convenient transportation, only a 10-minute walk from Jinsong subway station.

"The hotel has a cozy little courtyard, which is quite pleasant. The room was very clean, and the smart home system was a nice touch. The blackout curtains worked really well. The front desk service was prompt, and the cleaning staff did a thorough job. It's close to Panjiayuan Antique Market, and both restaurants downstairs are delicious."

Hotel near Tian'anmen Square and Wangfujing Area,Beijing
The original location of the hotel, Yueweizhuang, was one of Mr. Ji Xiaolan's residences in Beijing in his later years, and it was also an important place for him to create "Notes on Yuewei Caotang". Adjacent to the Forbidden City, Wangfujing Business Circle and along Chang'an Street, it can walk to cultural landmarks such as Nanluoguxiang. The subway hub is close at hand, which embraces the prosperity and tranquility of the ancient capital. Inheriting the orthodox regulation of the Beijing school courtyard, the courtyard retains the traditional architectural structure of the old Beijing courtyard with a central axis symmetry pattern. The gray tiles, blue bricks, carved beams and painted buildings still hide the charm of the ancient house. At the same time, it integrates cultural display elements, continues the cultural memory of the old Beijing courtyard, and allows guests to immerse themselves in the feelings of the old Beijing courtyard. And the cultural style. The hotel is transformed from two hundred-year-old courtyards, with a total of 59 elegant guest rooms, ranging from 35 square meters to 200 square meters. It is a rare courtyard private bath resort in Beijing. Create a variety of room types to adapt to different travel needs. The exclusive butler will follow up the whole process 24 hours a day, from check-in courtesy, itinerary customization to catering private banquets, and provide one-on-one exclusive services. The hotel was built with fine investment, and every detail was carefully carved, focusing on building three characteristic public areas: · The cultural corridor displays the life imprints of literati in the Qing Dynasty and the historical and cultural materials of Dongcheng, so that Chinese and foreign guests can immerse themselves in the cultural heritage of the ancient capital; · Rooftop viewing cafe, you can enjoy the staggered scenery of the blue bricks and gray tiles in the courtyard; · The traditional Chinese medicine massage spa hall hires a famous non-genetic massage teacher in Beijing to soothe the physical and mental fatigue of travelers in the traditional way of health care. In addition, the hotel is also equipped with a gym, a multi-functional conference room, an elegant tea room, a boutique gift gallery, a restaurant, an executive lounge, a bar, a business box, a laundry room and other facilities to meet the diverse needs of guests in an all-round way. As a luxurious secret place under the roots of the imperial city, it perfectly integrates the thousand-year-of-year courtyard of Beijing with the traditional culture of Beijing, achieving a unique model of travel and residence.

"Environment: The hotel is located in Dongsi Sitiao Hutong. The memory of riding a bike back with the evening breeze blowing down locust flowers will probably stay with me for a long time. Facilities: The guest room in the hutong isn't very large, but it's small yet complete with everything you need. The mattress was quite good, soft and comfortable. The illuminated makeup mirror, scale, automatic toilet, and embroidered headboard – all the facilities were pretty decent. Service: We received a room upgrade upon check-in, and they were considerate enough to grant a late check-out. They also provided a complimentary mini-bar and afternoon tea snacks. The Daoxiangcun Temple of Heaven and stone lion pastries, paired with authentic Beijing Xinyuanzhai plum juice, were quite good."

Facilities: The facilities are comprehensive, with a fridge, smart toilet, smart speaker, and electric curtains in the room. The hotel also has a laundry room and a gym. However, there's only one elevator, so expect a wait during peak hours. The room has a balcony, but the soundproofing could be improved. Hygiene: Up to standard, no obvious flaws, but there's room for improvement. Environment: Located on a corner at a crossroads, with supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The subway station is right downstairs, and Changying Tianjie shopping mall is just across the street. Very convenient. However, the window faces an office building, which is quite close. Service: Excellent. Quick response and a great attitude. They even upgraded my room proactively. The breakfast was also very good, with a wide variety of options.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. The courtyard house is beautifully renovated and very modern internally. The breakfast is delicious and different varieties daily. I am impressed with the clean spacious room. The very helpful reception staff that is always smiling and ready to help. The sturdy umbrella provided when it's raining outside. The complementary photo sessions. The proximity to major attractions sites and walking distance to food and convenience store. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Beijing.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. We were there for 4 nights. We were 5 people sharing a family room. Room was fine. Service excellent. Breakfast very good. You just order what you want the day before breakfast. We also had afternoon tea which was splendid. The staff washed our clothes for free. Brilliant service. The interior of the hotel is very picturesque. The hotel is situated some 300 meters from an exciting area with lots of restaurants and lively streets. They also arranged a taxi for our three adult children when they left for the airport in the middle of the night. We really enjoyed our stay.

The room isn't huge, but the bed is big enough for two adults and a small child. All the lights can be controlled from the bedside, so no more getting out of bed to switch them on or off. There's a nightlight, and the bathroom light is automatic – it turns on as soon as you step in. The sink is just the right size to use as a baby bath. The air conditioning cools down the room really quickly. There's also a mini-fridge in the room stocked with mineral water and sparkling drinks, which are replenished daily. The elevator requires a key card to automatically take you to your floor, and the hotel even has a few delivery robots that use the elevator by themselves. Breakfast is extensive, with fried rice, fried noodles/vermicelli, and four hot dishes every day, two types of congee, four steamers with items like buns, corn, and sweet potatoes, tofu pudding, fried dough sticks, noodle soup, wontons, various pickles, salad, and more. There's also a Western section with bread and other items I didn't pay much attention to.

A friend who was accompanying my daughter to take an exam recommended this hotel to me. I felt very comfortable when I opened the door. I booked an executive double room. Amazing! We spent five nights staying in a deluxe king room with terrace/balcony at The Purple Horse Hotel in Beijing at the end of June 2026.. The location is excellent. The hotel is situated in the heart of a Hutong which offers a calm quiet and serene experience in the middle of a bustling city, only a short walk to restaurants and shops. The Hutong itself is a great experience, it's safe and friendly and we enjoyed chatting to the locals at the corner shop. The hotel is absolutely wonderful. It's less than two years old and It is finished to a really high standard, the attention to detail is incredible. It felt luxurious with the highest quality furnishings and the bathroom and shower were like something you would find in a spa. Our room had great views over the Hutong and the Beijing skyline and had excellent air conditioning. We had a buffet breakfast and a buffet dinner included and it was delicious and served in a beautiful restaurant on the top floor. Above that there was an amazing rooftop terrace with an outdoor swimming pool, a cocktail bar and 360⁰ views of the city. There is also a Peking duck restaurant on the ground floor, a gym and a self service complimentary laundry room. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. The level of service and the attentiveness of the staff is at a level that we have never experienced before. The staff are super friendly and polite and they are always trying to help. Our room was cleaned to an immaculate level every day and we were often left little gifts and kind notes. The service in the restaurant was great and once again always really kind and friendly, special mention to Nieve for looking after us so well. Anything we needed, any questions we had, the staff really went out of their way to help us and did so with big smiles on their faces and we had fun times in our interactions with them. Everyone had a good level of English, especially the front for house staff and management . If you want a comfortable, clean, modern hotel with great facilities, in a great, safe location and would like staff that will advise and help you and direct you and even organise trips and transport for you, then this is the hotel for you. We would like to thank some of the staff that really went out of their way to help us. Ella and Anduo who organised a print shop for us and helped us find some specific gift shops. Nieve for making us smile everyday in the restaurant. The housekeeping team for making our room so clean, comfortable and amazing every day. Terry the manager for being a really nice guy, for taking the time to talk to us and ask us if we needed anything everyday. And Kevin for making us some really nice tea and helping us with everything when we were checking out. We have stayed in hotels all over the world but this one will always stand out for being that little bit different, for being so immaculate and for going the extra mile. Thank you very much and we look forward to seeing you next time. John and Elizabeth.

This Manxin Hotel is in an excellent location, making it very convenient for visiting the Forbidden City, the National Museum, and Tiananmen Square when touring Beijing. There are also plenty of dining options nearby. The room size was just right, and the facilities were quite new, with a super large and bright TV screen – though we didn't watch it much as we were busy sightseeing. The highlight was the excellent service. When we first checked in, we felt the second floor was a bit too low, and after discussing it with the front desk, they immediately moved us to the fourth floor. The fifth floor has laundry facilities, which was also very convenient. The breakfast was quite good, offering Chinese, Western, and Beijing specialties. We stayed here for five nights, and every time we entered or left, the staff, including the cleaning crew, greeted us. Highly recommended!

The location and cleanliness are wonderful. Right next to the ”Champs Elysees” of Beijing. May I kindly suggest to add a fee to continue proposing the collecting and cleaning which is displayed on the hotel website? It is confusing for guests to see a service proposed and not performed. See hotel website and joint pic of sign to hang on door in Chinese , didn't take a pic of the basket. Also if the receptionist asks you to bring down your dirty laundry basket (placed in the room) to the lobby, it can be perceived as gross by clients as you do not bring dirty clothes in a hotel lobby. Such things are not done and not to be suggested by the receptionist. Finally, most guests on holiday are happy to pay and have laundry done. It is a service we had in other hotels in China free or paid. 2 machines and 2 driers for so many rooms is not enough. Visiting all day(Beijing is huge) and staying up to 1.30 am doing laundry in a queue is tough during holidays. This needs to be corrected or crossed out on the hotel website so clients know beforehand. Overall positive though.
