"The hotel is due for some updates for sure, however, the room cleaners do a great job and are totally accommodating and sweet. As well, front desk is always on their game, helpful and friendly. The lobby has an incredibly knowledgeable tour booking guide, Nikki “ the facilitator”. She has been at the job for 7 years and knows her stuff. The hotel location is so convenient….. .

"The place was OK though the location was fine. It cost $30 a night to park and that made me think should I pay for the resort fees at other hotels or forgo the $30 parking fee? "

"A very good small boutique hotel, located in the last alley on the seaside, in a relatively remote location. The hotel bar next door is very noisy at night. Staff service is good. The bed was very nice to sleep on. As other guests commented, I don't know why the carpet in the room was very wet. It is inconvenient not to have in-room supplies. You have to bring everything by yourself, not even toothpaste or slippers. Nice decor."

"Location is super good, convenient to walk to anywhere in Waikiki. Valet parking staffs are great and kind of Japanese-style friendly, however the reception desk staff seemed always busy. Room is small and has a smell, maybe due to the oldness of the air conditioning and the building. You need to open the windows to ventilation every day. But the shower is incredibly good, like a hotel bathroom in Japan. Good and powerful water stream, feels like a waterfall and a hot spring. The shower is a huge plus, kind of the best in the US."

"The hotel is in a good location. You can walk to any place in WAIKIKI. It is very close to the lake, so you can walk or run. The hotel has a small swimming pool, a small gym, and a lobby to receive guests. There is also a place to work. It is relatively quiet. The front desk clerk is enthusiastic and upgraded our room for free. The room was originally on the 3rd floor, but it was upgraded to the 8th floor with a view of the lake. There is a microwave and a small refrigerator in the room, as well as plates and cutlery."

"Our room had an ocean view.
The sunset was beautiful, but because of the direction we were in we couldn't see the sunrise.
The shower booth in the bathroom was a little small, and there was no stand to put things on.
The floor hadn't been cleaned, and there was hair scattered everywhere, which was disappointing.
The lighting in the room was also quite dim.
Our impression was that the noise from the main street was louder than the sound of the waves.
As a hotel, it may be better suited to people who have a lot of plans to be outside, as it is a place to sleep."

"Pros:
- Fast check in/check out
- Friendly and courteous staff
- Walking distance to the beach
- Many shops nearby (food & shopping)
- Allow take out for breakfast to eat in your room
Cons:
- Room is quite small, especially if you have many luggages.
- Toilet is also very small
- Laundry level feels abit unsafe, especially at night
- Pool is very small, yet we have to pay $25 amenities per night"

"Nice hotel in the heart of Honolulu.
The room was spacious, but unfortunately the view from the balcony was of the neighboring building and there was no elevator.
Check-in took quite a long time and the bartender was also quite grumpy.
The rest of the staff was very friendly.
All in all, we would come again."

Great
AAnonymous UserI stayed at this hotel for just one night, and it was incredible. The room was super clean, modern, and spacious. I particularly loved the round facial soap and the neutrogena toiletries. I stayed at this hotel because of its proximity to local restaurants and bars, of which there are many to choose from. There is ample parking around the hotel, and parking passes were provided to me and my friend. The staff was incredible, and I enjoyed the free breakfast buffet. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel because of its cleanliness and convenience. I will definitely stay here again in the future.
AAndStrategically located with popular eateries down the corner, further up and you will hit hyatt and the beach. We had the tunnel view of the beach at the corridor too. The recept is polite and detailed, providing necessities such as toiletries upon request. There's complimentary breakfast too and the spread is decent and awesome - only shortcoming is the hard boiled eggs and strawberry tasting tad sour-ish. There's complimentary necessities to the beach too. The valet is great - polite and efficient. All good.

GGuest UserJust stayed for five days, breakfast was the same every day, two Korean servers were angry and collected everything at the appointed time. The transportation was very convenient and the location was very interesting. It was close to the commercial district and the beach by foot and by car! High cost performance.

ZZHENThe hotel was provisionally scheduled because of the extended holiday season. With two children, I care more about space and decided to double bed. In terms of size, the price is okay. But compared to Trump, the gap has widened. There is no drinking water, no dishwasher, it is a public laundry, and sanitary standards and services are not the same. Valet parking is a bit cheaper at $ 28. Wifi was very poor in the end.

EEdwinBooking in at reception was a friendly and very easy experience. The room was good but had more of a close up view of bushes than a City View.
The food I had was good, however the bar was often very busy with just one person making the food and serving drinks. I tried to get served a few times but had to leave and returned a bit later for service.
The location was very good for bus services and convenient for walking to local Waikiki beaches and along Kalakaua Ave.

彘彘Located in the legendary city center. The mattress was sunken, and it was covered with a blanket, and the color was a bit inexplicable. Intensely contact yourself and bring a 4-piece set. Due to the old mattress, the head and feet are higher than the buttocks after going to bed. Service is acceptable. The air-conditioning sound is crazy loud, estimated to be 50 decibels. The space is larger and the sea view is a little bit too. The equipment is relatively complete, and you can cook if you are diligent.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located conveniently close to the airport. A bit tricky to find. We walked to the hotel from the airport. With our suitcases, a bit further than expected. Lots of noise from the traffic. Room was clean. Service was friendly. A bit disappointing when we picked up a rental car and retrieved our suitcases. Because we stayed at the parking lot 16 min. (1 minute longer than alotted we had to pay parking fees.
GgrgrgrsharkSuch a wonderful location. The hotel is a little older but rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff can't do enough for you. There are ABC stores all around for anything you may need. The lobby is beautiful. We didn't use the pool as we preferred to swim at the beach which is just across the road.

MmrKarstenStaying at Manoa Inn feels like stepping into a living piece of Honolulu’s layered past. This plantation-style historical house is full of quiet character, from its timeworn woodwork to the gentle creak of its stairways. The inn is surrounded by gardens that seem to breathe—ferns unfolding, orchids slipping open, birds singing from hidden corners. One morning, I sipped coffee to the chatter of parrots and caught the city unfolding below through a frame of palms.
The location is as thoughtful as the house itself—steps away from the East-West Center, the serene carp garden, and the Manoa Japanese Tea House. Nearby cafés and small eateries feed both hunger and curiosity without fanfare. Nothing here feels manufactured. The inn doesn’t shout for attention—it invites you to listen, to linger, to notice. I left with a sense of having not just visited, but having been quietly welcomed.

GGuest UserThere is a main building and an annex, but the annex is really bad, and if you stay in the main building, the cost-effectiveness is really good! I stayed for 3 nights and stayed in the annex on the first day and was so depressed that I paid extra money to upgrade my room to the main building, and I was very satisfied! And it's very noisy because it's a downtown area, so take that into consideration! This is a picture of the bathroom when I stayed in the annex, but there was no ventilation and no lighting in the shower cubicle.. It was poor. Compare it with the pictures of the main building!
