"Strategically located next to the beppu station. It's within 2 mins walk to the bus to yufuin. Very convenient. It's a nice place to stay at. Choices of amenities are quite limited but it's enough. The room is big l, bigger than any other budget hotel I stayed in. It was a pleasant stay!"
Free family bath and jigoku mushi ("hell steaming") workshop
"Facilities: Very good, especially the hot springs, there are open-air hot springs in the room and on the top floor of the hotel, but the open-air bathroom in the room will be a bit cold for girls to wash their hair. It would be better if there is a separate shower room in the room.
Hygienic: very clean
Environment: The scenery is particularly good, especially the hot spring on the top floor
Service: Especially good, dinner and breakfast are also very rich"

"The hotel is older, but the stay was top-notch!
Upon check-in, you're provided with a yukata and toiletries. These can be replenished daily.
The staff is polite and always willing to help. I accidentally forgot my key in my room when I went to pour boiling water, and they helped me open the door without any problem.
The breakfast was delicious and nutritious, and it's great that you can choose your own ingredients.
The rooftop onsen was a truly wonderful bonus. After a long day on your feet, relaxing in the hot water was a true delight.
Also, despite the hotel being directly across from the station, which is very convenient for traveling, the windows face the opposite side, so you can't hear the trains. Overall, the room was quiet, perfect for relaxing.
Cons: no kettle in the room, and the fact that they take away your yukata when cleaning.
Otherwise, everything was wonderful, I highly recommend it!"

"This is my first time staying in the Youth Hostel. The experience is very good. The front desk service is very enthusiastic. I am very patient to introduce the facilities. I will also greet you very warmly when I go. The girl bed in the room is very clean. The Youth Hostel has no smell. Everyone is of high quality and very quiet. I slept more than 10 o'clock and went out to play at 8 o'clock. I will stay here next time I come to Beppu! !"

"The hotel location is excellent, right next to Beppu Station – just cross the road from the exit. It has its own hot spring, which is a bit small, but guests can use the hot springs at two other nearby hotels for free. Breakfast is also served at one of those other hotels. The room rate is very affordable for Beppu, offering great value for money."

"When I entered the squeeze, the staff brought me a towel and responded very kindly.
First pay the bath fee [250 yen/1 person]
There is a refrigerator, toilet and yukata in the cherry blossom room. There was no bath cherry blossom range in the room! The futon was warm and surprised
The breakfast was a little less than other inns, so it was a cut size! Women may be a little bit painful.
Hot springs are always put in front of the hot springs if you put a tag on it.
It was hot and very comfortable, probably because of the source ...
There is a room up to 3F, but there is no elevator, so it may be difficult for older people.
I want to go again because it was really good! Thank you very much!"

"We stayed as a group of 4, and the room was spacious enough for us. The location is very convenient, with a mall, shops, and restaurants all within walking distance.
The hotel offers parking for 500 yen per day, and the room rate is very affordable. There are also free drinks available on the ground floor, as well as coin-operated laundry and dryers.
One downside is that there is no elevator, but the staff are kind and helpful with carrying luggage. The walls are a bit thin, so you may hear some noise from neighboring rooms, but we were fortunate that other guests were respectful, so it wasn’t a big issue."

Amazing
DDevil maskThe hotel rooms are quite large for Japan, and the in-room hot springs and paid hot springs are also very good. The hotel will give you a free snack of Chibi Maruko. I personally don’t really like this kind of food, but the Mentaiko flavor was surprisingly delicious. Overall, the hotel is very good and I would like to stay here again if I have the chance. The only problem is that it is a bit far from Beppu Station.
GGuest UserThe people working here are so nice! I was able to drop my luggage off early before check-in which was sooo appreciated. It’s in a quiet little neighborhood close to the train station. It seems like a lot of the attractions are in Kannawa though which was a 30 minute bus ride away. The rooms were straightforward- one bathroom in the room, not as modern but clean. They provide slippers for your room, and there are privacy curtains around the bed. There’s a kitchen downstairs available to use.
GGuest UserI think the staff is very kind. It was a tasteful inn, and the open-air bath was very comfortable and awesome.
We used it without meals. The location is good, so there are convenience stores and coin laundry that can be walked from the inn, so it is easy to use. It was good that it was easy to access in a place close to tourist spots.

Very Good
GGuest UserUntil the day of check in, I never receive any check in procedure and I had to call customer service and wait for the line transferring. They did not limit the parking for every unit and I had no parking available but I saw one of the unit had parked 4 cars there. I called for help on no hot spa water coming out but they answered they could not do anything for me. Overall experience was good
GGuest UserWe stayed here as a couple and loved every moment. The room was clean, beautifully designed, and felt relaxing as soon as we walked in. After enjoying the private onsen bath made of wood and stone, we watched a movie on the projector while lying on the tatami, which felt so cozy and special.
The amenities were carefully selected and felt high-quality, adding to the relaxing stay. You can tell the host cares about every detail. If you want authentic Japanese experience with your partner, this place is a perfect choice.
GGuest UserI was worried because there weren't many Korean reviews recently. This was my first trip to Japan, and I really wanted to go to Beppu, but I was worried about where to stay. I booked this accommodation after looking at the photos of the interior without even looking at the location, but when I made the reservation, it turned out that it was located a bit far away from the downtown area! However, since the purpose of going to Beppu was the hot springs, I felt it was a great advantage to be able to use the hot springs within walking distance from my accommodation.
The accommodation is really clean and cozy, but also spacious and comfortable! The bed was so soft that I slept well until morning without waking up even once! Also, they say it is difficult because the accommodation is on a hill, but since the trip is a series of walks anyway, I was able to experience the Japanese countryside and it was really nice! ♥ And thanks to the host who kindly guided me, I felt really good!
If I go on a trip to Fukuoka, I will definitely go to Beppu again, and I intend to visit this accommodation again! Thank you so much for giving me happy memories :-)
何何The boss is not bad. He will go out at 7:30 in the evening to tell some more authentic information and help map the map. It is not convenient for the bed on the second floor toilet on the first floor.
AAmy ChikThe automatic check-in and check-out process was easy, quick, and convenient. The room was spacious, neat, and clean. However, the privacy of the in-room bath was quite low, which made me uncomfortable using it.
TTengqisizhiKannawa is close to many attractions, and the owners are friendly. Translation software made communication smooth, and I confirmed my dining and check-out times upon arrival. The rooms were clean and quiet, and the open-air baths were practically like having your own private bath during off-peak hours. The area was safe at night, and you could freely wander around Kannawa. I visited Beppu's eight hot springs and seven hells, and around 11 PM, I also went to the nearby Kura Onsen. Since Kura was deserted at night, I essentially had it all to myself. The meal includes the hell bath, so you don't need to eat there repeatedly. Providing a menu would be even better.
