"This was a rushed booking due to our original hotel not having our booking. Normally I spend considerable time going through reviews etc, but with the Azur Palace (hotel?) it was a case of needs must.
Unfortunately although we had booked a deluxe double in our opinion it didn’t match similar 4 star hotel deluxe rooms. I mentioned this to reception but they weren’t really interested.
Appreciate we were virtually in the centre of split, with space at a premium, but the view of a small alley with graffiti an empty minibar, not even plugged in, an irritating dim light, I think from the a/c that ensured the room wasn’t completely dark. After trying to close it down without success I went to reception, which had a note with a phone number to call. I gave up went back to the room and tried throwing a towel over it.
Also no bar, although there are a few within couple of minutes.
Overall disappointing."
"Receptionists were welcoming and helpful. Walking distance to Split Riva and other attractions. Room was clean and had plenty amneties. Recommend this if you're staying in Split."
"This is a very clean and cozy homestay, just like in the photo, it is as comfortable as home. The house is equipped with Internet TV, you can easily watch Netflix and YouTube, perfect for relaxing and entertaining. The kitchen has a refrigerator for easy storage of food and cold drinks. The B&B is strategically located in the city center, 5 minutes walk to the old town, close to the beach and the port, is a great choice for travel.
The boss is very friendly and also provides pick-up service. It is recommended to contact the boss by email in advance to confirm the relevant details.
It should be noted that if you are driving by car, parking may be a bit inconvenient. Although there are parking spaces behind the homestay, there are not many in number and it is difficult to find. It is recommended to plan the parking in advance.
Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and recommended to friends who come here to travel!
This is a very clean and cozy place to stay — it truly feels like home. The apartment is equipped with a smart TV that allows access to Netflix and YouTube, perfect for relaxing after a day out. There’s also a fridge to store food and cold drinks, which is super convenient.
The location is excellent — right in the city center, just a 5-minute walk to the Old Town. It’s also very close to the beach and the port, making it a perfect base for sightseeing and exploring.
The host is very friendly and offers airport pickup service. Be sure to check the listing details and contact the host via email in advance to arrange it.
One thing to keep in mind: if you're driving, parking can be a bit tricky. There are a few parking spots behind the apartment, but they’re hard to find. Driving guests may find this a bit inconvenient.
Overall, a lovely stay and highly recommended for travelers!"
"The room is nice and the facilities are new. The location is convenient. It is very convenient to go to the attractions, tour meeting point and bus station."
"Very good location, on the 14th floor of an office building, within a 15-minute walk from the train station, bus station, pier, and the ancient city. The room is very spacious and clean, and the view is very, very good (the level of the observation deck is second to none). But the problem is that the contact information of the hotel on Ctrip is wrong (it is the phone number of another company under Luxury, not this hotel), and the hotel does not have a front desk. It took me a long time to contact the hotel to check in. Picture 3 in the comments is the correct phone number."
"Very satisfied hotel! The location is super good, about 5 minutes walk to the port. The main attractions are all within a 10-minute walk. The sea view outside the window is very beautiful. Self-driving drivers greet the hotel one day in advance and reserve free parking spaces (we didn’t know in advance, so we didn’t use it. However, there are more parking lots around)
The breakfast was quite satisfactory, and the front desk staff was very enthusiastic and would give a lot of help. Highly recommended!"
"Toni greeted us for a late check in and carried our luggage up to the top floor which was incredibly helpful. He also recommended great places to explore and eat out while we stayed at Split."
"The room does not have a sea view.
This is not like a hotel, more like a villa, the security of it is not very high, as it has 2 entrances.
The entrance from the pool, anyone can access it without a problem.
The swimming pool was quite dirty, it has a lot of bugs floating, and also it has not been regularly cleaned by the staff.
It has a lot of restaurants nearby, and the quality and the price are better than those tourist meals in the old town.
The lift was broken on the first day, second day they informed us it is fixed. But it still has a little bit sudden sinking issue.
I guess Croatia does not have regulation of fix term lift checking, as it does not have any certificate in the lift inside/outside.
If the hotel showed 3 stars and the price is lower. I would rate
The right side of the balcony has a big tennis field on the 2nd-floor level, it is very close, and it was quite annoying that people can look over easily.
The suite does not worth 4 stars. The rug is super old, it has some stains on it.
The Front door lock is looking new, it is safe, but some electricity installation was not installed properly, it looks like you can pull them out easily.
The Electric Safety box is not working with the password, the hotel left a key in there for use.
Breakfast arrangement is well managed for guests with early tour, they could arrange breakfast box including 1 fruit, 3 breads, and 1 yogurt at 06am to 07am."
"Best location for visiting the old town. Delicious breakfast and an amazing view from the pool. Would highly recommend rooms with sea view. Bed is comfortable and rooms are big enough. Would also highly recommend to ask for a higher level room, view is impressive when you wake up in the morning."
"It was cute, lady who owns it was really sweet and friendly. Provided us with extra towels and coffee.
TV had Netflix, Disney+, YouTube etc and Google (however when we opened it, there was explicit adult content left on there from previous guest... which was not nice!)
Very clean and tidy premises.
Only other downside for me is that you can't actually see out of the windows, they're covered by external barriers making it quite dark, and also a lot of loud noises early in the morning, very loud banging (like a hammer) and power tools.
Otherwise, good location, not too far from tourist areas and very nice staff."

Amazing
FFrancisI really enjoy staying here. The location is perfect for me. As a big beach person, the hotel is close to Bacvice Beach, it’s like a 8-minute walk. And it’s like 13-minute walk to Diocletian's Palace and the pier for my boat trip. The owner also recommended some good restaurants for us to explore and asked us constantly if we need suggestions to do in Split. They are really helpful!! The room is also really clean and I love the fact that many towels are provided in the room. Also, when I had told the owner we would check out at 10am the day before check out, my friend suddenly had a diarrhea and puked in the morning, the owner was so nice that allowed us to check out at 11am instead!
GGuest UserWe had the most delightful time at the Apartments Cordis. The staff bent over backwards to help us with late check in, directions and recommendations. The pool was a real treat, usually all to ourselves and surrounded by fresh fruit growing and hanging over the pool.
Our apartment was lovely, very cool from the A/C and filled with lots of of kind extra touches. The bed was brilliantly firm and so comfortable.
The only downside to our stay was that the shower leaked into the bathroom a lot. The space between the toilet and shower was very small, not great for tall people. The floors needed more cleaning. And the WiFi was a bit patchy.
The neighbourhood was conveniently located with a bus stop and shops 5 mins away. It’s close to the new beach and the centre of town. We enjoyed browsing in the Thrift store round the corner.
All in all a great stay that I would repeat.
Thank you
LLC678Good location in the palace area, but it could be very confused because the hotel has different annex which is couple minutes walk apart. And it could be difficult to find the location of the annex, for the one I stay in named Villa Donbric couldn’t be find in Google map. Besides, since we have couple of large luggages, we look for hotel with elevator but the annex I stayed didn’t facilitated one. (I am not sure the other annex has one or not) The room is smaller than I expected, it’s a bit messy when we open up two luggage together. Other than that, it’s a cozy place to stay with helpful staff. The breakfast is served and good, with different options of eggs. I suggest extra attention is better when booking the hotel about the location and concern with luggages. Or I will suggest booking their optional pick up service.
XXINVery satisfied with the hotel, the location of the hotel is great, it is very convenient to go to the attraction, it is thirty or forty meters away from the silver gate of Diocletian's Palace, and the small road leads to the silver gate. The restaurant where the hotel provides breakfast is in the entrance of the silver gate. On the left hand side, take a few steps from the hotel door to the right and then go to the left for a few tens of meters is the Golden Gate, and walk to the seaside street for a few minutes. The hotel receptionist was very patient. After receiving our call, I was waiting for our arrival in the room at the agreed time. I was enthusiastic about the location of the attraction. The hotel should belong to the hotel, there are not many rooms, but the interior is spacious and well-equipped, the decoration is also new, not bad! For Chinese tourists, as long as they overcome the language barrier, there is no problem in staying. Because the hotel is small in size, there is no front desk. If it is coming, the guests should contact the store in English to tell them the arrival time so that they can send people to the room. .
OOttoFThe room was better than expected, and we upgraded to a sea view room. Downstairs is a famous local beach where many locals swim and play ball. The breakfast was also good. But the city of Split as a whole is a bit boring, and one day is enough...
GGuest UserIt is a good option for you if you drive since the hotel is located 15 minutes from Split old town. It is a fair distance to drive to the centre. The hotel is new and clean with a modern interior design of the room which makes it pleasant to stay. The well design of the hotel room makes it feel spacious and comfortable.
Breakfast is relatively simple with not much choice but that does not bother us since Split has many great restaurants out there waiting for us.
Overall, I am satisfied with this stay and would recommend this hotel since it is clean and beautiful.
SStaceyShekThe location is convenient and easy to find. The hotel staff provided great service and upgraded the suite to us for free. Parking is convenient and the swimming pool has a view of the entire city.
GGuest UserI extended my stay with 2 more nights because the location of the hotel is perfect for my group. The common spaces are spacious and so are the rooms.
But we got a room right next to the lift and the room had a door with the room next door. Because of that, the noise from the neighbors during the last night was pretty disturbing!
And again, the breakfast is somehow disappointing for an hotel from that level. We stayed in a smaller 4 star hotel at the beginning of our stay in Split and the breakfast was much nicer and so was the cappuccino.
MmiffyukiLocated in the old town, it is ideal for sightseeing. The owner was also kind and I was able to check in safely even though it was late at night. However, the room was small, which was a bit disappointing. I'm not sure if all hotels in the old town in Croatia are the same, but you cannot store your luggage after check-out, so you have to stop by the luggage storage center, which costs extra.
