"The location is convenient and easy to find. The hotel staff provided great service and upgraded the suite to us for free. Parking is convenient and the swimming pool has a view of the entire city."
"Hotel located in the city centre, near the bus.
The hotel is clean and has a private parking.
Very nice staff
The room is beautifully large , A few bemol at the level of the bathroom.
The toilet paper door is very far away from the toilet.. it is not at all in the right place. It has at least 1 m 10 distance."
"Perfect location on Norodni Trg and beautiful, spacious room. Boutique hotel with only 12 rooms and a great breakfast. Highly recommend. Note that it can be a tad difficult to find the actual hotel. It’s located on 2nd level above the ground floor cafe with the entrance from the small walk street on the left."

"A brilliant location in old town. Rooms were large and clean. Unfortunately we had an air conditioning issue but we were able to move rooms to sleep which was the best outcome of a bad situation."
"Had a great stay in Marvie. Excellent service from the staff, who were always friendly and helpful. Location is great - a 15-20 minute walk to the centre. Lovely beach / coastal walk is a little longer but well worth it. Pools and wellness centre great. Breakfast was good, maybe could be a bit better."
"The hotel is located in the old city, which is full of various hotels and restaurants, so it is not very good to find, but their service is very good, you don't need to find a hotel, they will go to you, then take you over, and Helping to transport your luggage and reserve a parking space. After check-in, you will be given an English brief introduction of all the attractions, and one by one will help you to mark it on the map. The room is a five-star standard room. Although the old town is very noisy, it is almost only closed. I can hear the bells of the clock tower, the soundproof is good, the breakfast is a little simple, but fortunately, I can also order a little egg rolls, pancakes and the like, which is quite good."
"This is not a big deal but since we are there on Sunday , shouldn’t the hotel parking rates be reflective of surrounding which is Sunday free ? Or lower rate ? Btw the breakfast was excellent"
"It is a good option for you if you drive since the hotel is located 15 minutes from Split old town. It is a fair distance to drive to the centre. The hotel is new and clean with a modern interior design of the room which makes it pleasant to stay. The well design of the hotel room makes it feel spacious and comfortable.
Breakfast is relatively simple with not much choice but that does not bother us since Split has many great restaurants out there waiting for us.
Overall, I am satisfied with this stay and would recommend this hotel since it is clean and beautiful."

Outstanding
SSeat 2AThis is an intimate 5-room establishment situated amidst the alleys of the Old Town, hence cars cannot drop passengers at the doorstep. Easy enough to catch a shuttle bus for EUR 8 from the airport to the bus station at the port, from which a Makarun staff will meet you and assist you with your luggage to the hotel, a 10-minute walk away.
Breakfast is a la carte, as is to be expected for such a small establishment, comprising 3 courses - pastry/toast, eggs of your choice with cold cuts, and a dessert, complemented by tea coffee and/or juice. Food was more than adequate in terms of quantity and quality.
My room was comfortable enough, though 2 issues were noticeable:
* Instead of a flat cotton bed sheet, there was a fitted sheet made of what seemed like jersey, and looked more like a mattress protector. This was pilled and coarse, in contrast to the far smoother cotton quilt cover. When I brought this to the attention of the staff they explained that this is standard for the hotel. Whilst it did not affect the quality of my sleep, the coarseness of the sheet wasn't entirely pleasant
* In the bathroom, the shower was mounted at waist height, hence one either had to hold the shower in one hand, or, if there was a need to use both hands to wash, then one would have to crouch under the shower while it was in its holder. Not particularly convenient.
Overall a comfortable stay in a convenient location, enhanced by the friendly and solicitous Ivan and Mario.
FFrancisI really enjoy staying here. The location is perfect for me. As a big beach person, the hotel is close to Bacvice Beach, it’s like a 8-minute walk. And it’s like 13-minute walk to Diocletian's Palace and the pier for my boat trip. The owner also recommended some good restaurants for us to explore and asked us constantly if we need suggestions to do in Split. They are really helpful!! The room is also really clean and I love the fact that many towels are provided in the room. Also, when I had told the owner we would check out at 10am the day before check out, my friend suddenly had a diarrhea and puked in the morning, the owner was so nice that allowed us to check out at 11am instead!
LLC678Good location in the palace area, but it could be very confused because the hotel has different annex which is couple minutes walk apart. And it could be difficult to find the location of the annex, for the one I stay in named Villa Donbric couldn’t be find in Google map. Besides, since we have couple of large luggages, we look for hotel with elevator but the annex I stayed didn’t facilitated one. (I am not sure the other annex has one or not) The room is smaller than I expected, it’s a bit messy when we open up two luggage together. Other than that, it’s a cozy place to stay with helpful staff. The breakfast is served and good, with different options of eggs. I suggest extra attention is better when booking the hotel about the location and concern with luggages. Or I will suggest booking their optional pick up service.
AAdamsKateLovely room, small but delicious breakfast, friendly staff, walking distance of waterfront and historic downtown. Could sometimes hear the noise of the people outside our room which was right on the street, but it wasn't enough to cause any problems sleeping. Overall would definitely recommend and book again.
MMark ElshoutExcellent location right in the centre of great restaurants and the tourism hotspots. The room and bathtub are great. Good wifi and television box for plenty of viewing options. Rooftop garden/outdoor area is amazing at sunset (see attached photos). A couple of things to prepare yourself for which are out of the control of the hotel owners: there are 90 steps to the floor where the rooms are so would not recommend if you are physically challenged, and the restaurants in the square do have music till quite late which is audible in the rooms so light sleepers may like to try ear plugs. Sound did not bother us and the walk up the stairs was good for our health! The whole of the city has bell ringing at various times during the day (7am, Midday, 8pm) No need to set an alarm to wake up in the morning!
HHuangVery textured hotel, bathing supplies are L'Occitane, the room is large, the furnishings are luxurious and textured retro style, the whole looks very new, and the location is in the ancient city, very very very good hotel
GGuest UserPro - very close to the Golden Gate and is easy to find. Check in is straightforward. The room is on the first floor above ground so it wasn't the most difficult thing to lift our luggages up.
Con - (1) the actual room looks nothing like the pictures online. The online pictures (taken with wide lens mode) show the room to be much larger and brighter, whereas the room is in fact very small and relatively poorly lit. For one, the bed is literally two footsteps away from the door, and we were struggling to find space to open our luggages.
(2) One of the beds in the room is in fact a sofa bed, but the property did not declare this when we booked. We spent a lot of time trying to book places which do not use sofa beds but actual beds, and so we can't help but feel that we were misled and misrepresented to.
(3) There is a bit of noise. The property is right next to the road and near a pub with some rowdy youths at times.
(4) Facilities are minimal. There is only one chair, and the table is very small. Everything else is basic. Nothing luxurious about it despite its name and the photos.
(5) There is no lift at the property.
We would not have chosen this property if we had a second chance.
MmiffyukiLocated in the old town, it is ideal for sightseeing. The owner was also kind and I was able to check in safely even though it was late at night. However, the room was small, which was a bit disappointing. I'm not sure if all hotels in the old town in Croatia are the same, but you cannot store your luggage after check-out, so you have to stop by the luggage storage center, which costs extra.
MMedirattaThe hotel is basically located on the 3rd floor of a semi functional mall. The location is great and at walking distance from all major attractions on the beach line of Split. Eateries, bakeries, places to shop are all at walking distance. The location is also a short walk from the major bus station where you can get buses for the airport. The triple room was huge and we'll maintained. The bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall a great experience. The variety and quality of the vanity in the bathroom needs to be improved in my suggestion.
