Great location for end of the day swim in the fresh water. Service? Not sure what to say. Owner was okay. Hard to communicate as he comes across rude but if you carry on, he will answer your questions. It’s like a military camp, where everything is strict and time stamped. No such thing as flexibility on check ins and early breakfast. Breakfast is decent and we really enjoyed the view whilst having it. Nicely decorated place. Not vegan friendly as the name suggests 🤣🤣 overall good hotel.

Our booking was for 2 adults and 1 child which clearly stated on the booking confirmation. The owner being greedy charged us an extra 25francs per night for our toddler which was against the T&Cs of booking. He refused to speak with the hotel booking website and took advantage of us being tourists. Since it was a busy week in Interlaken and we were unable to find an alternative hotel we had to satisfy owner's greed by paying more. We never had to go through this experience and I will recommend that if you are travelling with a young family then do not go this place.

We spent a really nice time in Hotel Jägerhof in May 2022. Everything was great: friendly welcome, comfortable room with a beautiful view, well-tended garden with blue hydrangeas at the entrance... We also really liked the free parking and the beach right in front of the hotel. We would love to come back and can only recommend this place!
