Best Hotels in Spiez, Switzerland

Spiez is a pretty town and this is a pretty hotel. We travelled as a family and had two adjacent rooms. Our purpose was to take part in the triathlon in Thun and it’s very hard to get hotel rooms so we were lucky and had the last two rooms, facing the street rather than the lake, but we could go to the roof terrace to relax and enjoy the view. It was quiet and comfortable, the food was very good (the owners are Italian and Swedish) and the staff are very friendly.

The hotel is relatively small, the town may be relatively small, the scenery is okay, like a bigger one, it is recommended not to choose this Spiez in the town. It ’s okay. [Crazy] In the end, this is the open-air bath. So sometimes the Internet celebrity is really very harmful. We thought it was beautifully set for 3 nights. The strength to step into the pit is also the strength to avoid the pit for everyone! This is the only big black spot on our trip to Switzerland. The Belvedere Strandhotel in Spiez was a great hotel for me and my husband during our time in the Interlaken region. Upon arrival, the hotel kindly sent a shuttle to pick us up at the train station, a true perk when you travel with luggage (the hotel is a 10 min walk from the train station). We loved the pool/spa areas, which were great for relaxing after a long day of hiking/tourism. The spa overlooks the lake and we even sat in the sauna while it rained to take in more of the view. The staff was friendly but there was a bit of a language barrier. We would have given the hotel 5 stars but the room was terribly hot and opening the windows would attract bugs (plus it didn't really help cool down the room). Otherwise, the room was clean, comfortable, and spacious.

Friendly reception despite early check-in. The rooms are small, but all equipped for a short stay. Breakfast takes place in a conference room and offers something to start in the day. Very friendly staff. Unfortunately, the room was extremely ring-hearted, so we could best hear the Asian travel group from their rise to the departure with the car on Sunday morning at 07:30. - Franks per night the accommodation does not meet the price-performance ratio. The beds are rather narrowly measured. The room was at tropical temperatures above 30 degrees, which were to be tolerated only with open windows. This means additional noise emissions from outside conversations and roller bags.

I have nothing but positive words about our stay at the Strandhotel Seeblick. Our stay in the Loft House was exactly what we were looking for and needed for our family of 5. The hotel was very kind and accommodating when we explained we had 2 adults and 3 children, and they made up the sofa bed for us prior to arrival, and the sofa bed was suitable for our 12y and 9y boys. We decided to bring an air mattress in our luggage for the 3rd child. There was more than enough room in the Loft House for us and all our luggage. The view of the lake from the balcony was lovely! It was quite warm during our stay, but the windows and sliding door allowed for good airflow, and there was an oscillating fan for us to use as well. The bed was very comfortable for us. The room was clean upon arrival, and had daily cleaning (and restocking of Nespresso/tea supplies). The restaurant is delicious, we made a reservation in the morning for dinner that evening. Faulensee is a charming village, and I would be thrilled to stay at this hotel again!

This hotel is located on the shore of Lake Thun. The views are spectacular. It almost does not look real. It is a peaceful place with large garden and many places to lounge and sit. Breakfast is included and delicious. The hotel has a restaurant- with excellent and interesting dishes. I used the spa one day and had a facial and massage. Both ladies were excellent at their craft and I came out relaxed and glowing. The staff was great and a sense of humor. The room with large balcony was minimalistic but clean. The bathroom a bit tiny. The hotel building itself is a beautiful building from the early 1900‘s. I really can highly recommend a stay here. P.S. the elevator is fast and fun!

The hotel view is very good, double view room, direct view of the snow mountain and lake, fairy tale-like scenery, the front desk supports Chinese communication, the disadvantage is that the breakfast is very simple, suitable for enjoying the scenery, other general

The friendly reception at the reception was the beginning of a wonderful stay. We booked the small room, which was surprised when we moved with his generosity. The room was freshly renovated and tastefully furnished. The free view of the Nies and the Thunsee is impressive. All in the room was very clean and maintained. Later afternoon we eat with a sad society on the terrace. The food was excellent and the service friendly and speedy. As guest, it is a dream if you can experience this lived hospitality. Thank you!

This was our second visit to Hotel Bellevue au Lac and again we were not disappointed. Lovely staff who couldn't have been more helpful. Our room looked out over the lake with a balcony where I could have sat all day. The location was very good with a bus stop outside the hotel which had us at the station in 13 minutes. Being by the lake we could hop onto the paddle boats with ease ads there landing stage was only yards from the hotel. Views were spectacular with access easy to tourist spots. The restaurant was a delight and breakfast plentiful and tasty. We sat on the verandah both to eat our meals and also to relax. We dined there in the evening several times and can highly recommend the food. We enjoyed ourselves so much here that we have already booked to return in 2024.
