A peaceful location surrounded by the river, trees and nature, yet close enough to explore the beautiful highlands. The lodges are set in groups of three so you feel a sense of privacy. Each lodge is well equipped with everything you would need and very cosy even on the rainiest of days! The guest book in our lodge was useful with not only information about our stay but also local amenities, walks and places to visit. There was also a section on the wildlife spotted within the grounds. Nina and Campbell were super hosts. They were always available before, during and after out stay via email. They didn’t impose their presence during our stay but were available if needed and always had a friendly wave and came out for a chat before we left. We would definitely recommend staying at Burnbridge Lodges and we would love to visit again.

We went to relax, work and play and we did all 3 thanks to the wonderful environment that Nina and Campbel have created at Burbank. Simple and comfortable accommodation in a forest by a river, waking up to the sound of birds (and rain of course! This is the Highlands after all, get over it!) Slept well, went on walks, enjoyed the local area (Harry Potter Bridge, Neptune’s staircase, fish n chips by the sea) We will happily go back.

We received a warm welcome at Burnbank Lodges after booking via phone call, which worked excellently due to our hosts' efforts. The lodges are located beautifully alongside a river and between trees so you'll have a great view no matter which lodge you are staying in. It's a peaceful and calming place in the Scottish Highlands from where we went on day trips to Isle of Skye, Glencoe and Inverness/Culloden/Loch Ness. At the end of each day we were happy to return to the lodge to spend a quiet and peaceful rest of the day there. We definitely hope to return one day and can only highly recommend a stay at Burnbank Lodges when you visit the area.

So we originally booked for two nights and ended up staying for nine, which probably says all that needs to be said for this very positive review. However, for the removal of any doubt, Burnbank is a gem; the cabins are well-appointed and spotless, and the woodland setting is simply stunning. The accommodation is located near easy routes to Skye, the Cairngorms, Fort William and Mallaig. This has been the best holiday I have had in Scotland.

Fabulous stay- secluded safe and such a lovely spot by the river Stayed another night as was so impressed. The lodge has everything od exoect from a quality hotel. Except cleaner and better appointed. The bed was superb- I cannot fault the entire stay. The hosts Campbell and Nina were friendly and should be so proud of the business they have. Bravo!

i can highly recommend staying at this tranquil and laidback location. After the booking, there were some minor issues that were swiftly resolved by the hosts. The lodges have all the utilities one could ask for, and are located in nature: next to the river Spean, and close to the center of Spean bridge. Spean bridge is perfectly located to go out and about; we went to see Glencoe, Fort Augustus, Fort Williams, Drummadruchit and Glennfinnan.

This was my fourth year of visiting my "home away from home" at Burnbank Lodges and every visit I find somewhere new to explore. It really is the perfect location for exploring the Highlands. Nina and Campbell are always very knowledgeable and helpful. Add to that the peace and tranquility of the setting and accommodation equipped with everything you need for a stay and it's no wonder I keep going back.

What a gem in The heart of the Highlands! Burnbank Lodges are ideal if you are looking for peace and tranquility. I selected a river view lodge and,, OH WHAT A CHOICE! Right over looking the River Spean! Absolutely beautiful! The lodge itself was beautiful, very compact but spacious! very well laid out. A great shower room with towels provided. A lovely comfortable bed in a spacious bed room and a lovely kitchen area. The kitchen was well provided with good quality utensils and cutlery and crockery. The sitting area has a lovely comfortable settee. Every where was clean and tidy. Burnbank Lodges are ideal for a single traveller or a couple. The surroundings are just beautiful. One tip I can give, is leave your car and catch a bus to Inverness or catch a train (watch the timings though!) to Fort William or Mallaig, the Mallaig train crosses the famous Glenfinnan Viaduct! Just pretend you are Harry Potter and friend! Campbell and Nina, the proprietors are very friendly. There is a drying room and washing machine along with a stack of leaflets with lovely ideas for making the most of Spean Bridge and Fort William. have a look at the Shiel Buses, Scottish City Link, National Rail and Caledonian Sleeper websites for getting around with out a car. All in all, a beautiful place to stay in a beautiful part of the world!!
