We stayed in July 2022 and since we had stayed there before and had issues at check out with the front desk saying we owed more money and having already paid in full decided to pay cash and only put the fifty dollar deposit on the credit card. We checkout and are told the deposit has been released back to my credit card and a week later I'm still waiting for it. I checked with the hotel and was told check with ny bank which I did. Still no refund with the hotel insisting it was refunded and me saying no it wasn't. After getting no where with hotel management I wrote off to the owner of Peppermill resorts of which western village ****** hotel is part of and two weeks later I've heard nothing from Mr. Bill Paganetti Sr the owner. Every time we have stayed there there's an issue with payment upon check out with the front desk either saying we owe more and then running my credit card three times to get extra money they're not entitled to or saying we can't check out we owe more money when I've paid in full and have receipts to prove it. Western village ****** hotel front desk has serious issues with their front desk staff and reservation system and because I dared to complain about the deposit we were told we're not welcome back. This is how a three star hotel treats individuals who dare to complain about room charges and deposits. I realize it's just fifty dollars but it's the principle of the fact that a hotel can scam people out of Money and get away with it.As the saying goes buyer beware in this case guest beware because you might find your credit card charged extra or worse be told you owe more money so you can't check out. Even if we were welcome back we still wouldn't stay there because of the money issues that always come up at checkout with staff . The housekeeping staff is far friendlier than the hotel front desk staff and that says alot. My elderly mother, pup & I were in-between homes & found this extended stay hotel. We were immediately impressed upon our arrival. The outside grounds were very clean & well kept. Then being greeted by both Suzanne & Greg at the front desk who were very kind & helpful. Our room was impeccably large & clean, the entire interior was very clean. Aside from the (expected) freeway noise (which we really weren't too bothered by), it was a very quiet hotel. I truly appreciated management upholding house rules, such as ”quiet time”, after about 8pm, you could hear a pin drop it was so quiet. As I stated in the title of my review, I just can't say enough, compliment & THANK management (Suzanne & Greg) enough for how wonderful they have made our stay. I definitely rate this hotel with a big 10+, 5+⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and HIGHLY recommend this hotel.

I returned to the Nugget because it was closest to the place I was going and because of past experiences. What a huge disappointment! Rooms were now over a hundred a room, on weekdays; NO valet parking; No room service; No buffet, broken ice-makers. I am a disabled veteran and since there was no valet parking, I asked at checkin where I might find the nearest handicap parking. I was told to just drive around the building and find one! On my last night, my vehicle was towed away stating that it was parked in a red zone. In fact, there was no red, green, yellow or white anywhere to be seen! That cost me 5 hours of my life and $460.00. Plus a ticket for $265.00! I will NEVER return again and I plan on contacting the ADA and file a complaint for NO disabled assistance of any kind!

My husband and I live in Salt Lake City, UT. We planned a trip to Carmel in a VRBO where we could take our golden retriever. We stopped over and back at this Fairfield Inn because they accept dogs. Larry, the manager, and his entire staff did absolutely everything to accommodate us and Jake: first floor room, near an outside door, moving our return date, etc!! Rooms are clean and quiet; no odors. Poop bags offered out front. Plenty of grass. Continental breakfast is good w plenty of options. Nice appetizers in the afternoon. Great access off the freeway and close to good restaurants!! HIGHLY recommend this hotel‼️

The room was clean, the infrastructure was perfect, there was a small gym, the breakfast was the finishing touch, the variety was not too much, but it was very appetizing. There is a free shuttle to the airport, praise.

Our room was bigger than our first apartment! This place was beautiful and so comfortable. We were staying for 3 nights, so it was really nice to have a little extra space to spread out. Love the kitchen facilities. The area is really nice - lovely little lake to walk around for exercise. Property is right across the street from stores and a ****** -in case you need entertainment. There was a 1/2 court for basket ball practice, nice out door seating area, The only thing that could have been better would have been a hot tub. All the staff members we met were very nice and always offered to assist if they could.
