"This hotel is very beautiful. The boss is an intellectual. He is very nice and enthusiastic. He speaks a little Chinese. The breakfast was generous, but it only started at 9 o'clock, and each guest was very slow. I ate for an hour and didn't wait for an omelette. If the schedule is tight, it is recommended to go out to eat, after all, the old city is on the side. The post office and the bank, as well as the blue door of Bruges, are also nearby. It is very convenient to take a taxi. The room was tidy. Hair dryer and air conditioner-his hair dryer works well. Prepare your own shampoo and shower gel."

Ottima colazione e riad delizioso, raggiungibile molto facilmente. Consigliatissimo, ma d'estate:-)"

"The younger brother at the front desk is very enthusiastic, because the language is different... I am very patient to give us directions, help a local guide... The hotel location is too far from the city gate, the luggage is manually dragged by the workers... difficult to find, they will not find it. I will get lost in the old city..."

"The hotel is very clean and good, and the price is very cheap. It is a better hotel in Fez. Generally speaking, I am very satisfied. I recommend everyone to stay."
Authentic Moroccan charm and modern style in perfect harmony. A soothing sanctuary set above the bustle of Fez- Hotel Sahrai offers the best of both worlds. Brought to life by designer Christophe Pillet- classical architecture reflects the hotel s summer palace origins - but sleek interiors make this a thoroughly modern retreat. Traditional Fassi ceramics- copper lanterns and gypsum patterns are dotted throughout the luxury rooms- alongside marble bathrooms- glass walls and bespoke furniture. Hotel Sahrai is a Small Luxury Hotels of the World property.
"A private and beautiful hotel outside the Medina, Hotel Sahrai is a good choice for travellers looking to reside outside the hustle and bustle of the old city. The amenities provided were top class though the breakfast selection and dinner quality could be improved upon. The hotel sits on top of a hill and the rooftop provides a beautiful view of the old medina and Jewish quarters. This is a good choice if you have a lot of luggage as cars are not allowed to drop you in Riads inside the Medina."

Great
MMarkBRAVO! Jamal and his family have transformed their ancestral home into a place that we (and other visitors alike) can call home in Fez. From meeting us at the main road and escorting us through the narrow lanes of the medina, to joyfully serving us breakfast each morning and a sumptuous dinner on our final evening, Jamal and family were super accommodating and friendly.
TTallie LemesThis is a hidden gem of Fes 😍 we were very well treated and the room is cosy and beautiful. The shower head needs something to hold it in place so water does not splash all around but apart from that everything else was perfect. The night receptionist was amazing to make us some breakfast bags for our early trip the next day, and he helped with a taxi and all. My friend has done the hamman and loved it. Well recommended!
VvoiletteThe 14th century house, the building itself is very beautiful and amazing. Breakfast is on the top of the building, the scenery is great, and you can see a large area of medina. The room facilities are also good, basically have everything they should. But the old house also has problems. The soundproofing is too poor. There is a room on the second floor that can be heard up and down by the elevator, and the noise in the aisle will be loud. It was already evening on the day of arrival, and when I entered the house, I rushed into the smell of disinfectant water. The biggest breakdown is that there are 4 power jumps in 2 nights. This kind of thing happens in such a house is really scary. When the staff said that this had never happened before, it made people feel even more terrifying. The traffic is fairly convenient, you can park nearby, and you don’t have to drag your luggage for too long. But this location is actually quite far away from the regular old city activity area, and the shortcuts in the old city don't dare to go at night. We wanted to take a taxi on the side of the road at about four or five o'clock. It was difficult to take a taxi. It seemed that the taxis were full of people. Leaving in the morning, I had to take a taxi to the CTM station. Since it is difficult to call a petit taxi at this location during the day, I asked the front desk to help book a private car. It takes about ten minutes and 100dhr. If you know you have been killed, you can only use this method.
The girl at the front desk is very dedicated and feels like she is sitting there day and night. If you have any questions, just ask her, but it makes people feel that pushing dinner and spa is a bit too much, but I don’t say anything if I refuse. Woke up the morning before leaving and helped us pack breakfast.
GGuest UserIf I ever return to Fes, I will definitely stay here again. In contrast to its historic and traditional charm, the rooms were incredibly clean and beautiful. Waking up to nothing but the sound of birds chirping in the morning was a dream.
Every detail of the interior was stunning, and the staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. The location is actually much easier to find compared to other accommodations in Fes. However, I did have a bit of trouble finding it at first and unfortunately got scammed by a fake guide—so please be careful! Also, keep in mind that the stairs are quite steep. Aside from those points, my stay was absolutely perfect.
AAobfoodieGreat great hotel . Very traditional
Marroccan vibe and décore . We were greated like royalty with Moroccan tea and sweets .
- you need to walk to the riad it’s not accessible with a taxi ; once you get off the taxi it’s about a 6 min walk when you know where your going . There are directions but the first time in Medina , there will be people need the taxi haggling to help with your luggage and bring you ; it’s worth the 20MAD tip because it’s a max in the Medina.
- the view from the rooftop is amazing and the service was 10/10 for everything .
AAisyah Humaira RazaliOverall the Riad is good.
The issues we had were the Heater in the room is small and the heater in the bathroom was not working. Safe in the room was spoilt too there wasn't any replacement.
The Royal Suite we stayed in was dark there wasn't sufficient lighting. Mohammed was kind enough to get a standing lamp and place in our room.
Breakfast was so so, just bread, eggs, yoghurt, coffee/tea and orange juice. Not much choice as it is not buffer ans served to us.
Ssy8888Amazing memorable experience that is worth to travelled for! Was lucky to snap up the last room on my travel dates. It was refurbished from a palace so there are alot of beauty still well kept within. There is a small pool and a rooftop dining area. Staff were hospitable and always there to help. Directions are well marked but also possible to get lost within.
GGuest UserThe contact person is so nice that helped us arrange city tour and transport to another city. Even though we had to leave at 8, which was not the breakfast timeslot, the house keeper prepared food for us to take away. We had so much fun here.
GGuest UserThe Riad is right for the price. It's centrally located at the Medina. I got the room at the rooftop. No lift, only a narrowed spiral staircase. You have to carry your luggage up & down. If you are elderly and have issues with your back or knee problem this place is not for you.
If you need to talk to the owner of the Riad you have to watsapp him if you have any concerns. I had an issue with my door lock. Luckily, they quickly addressed my issue & changed my door lock immediately.
YYongyuandeninghaiThe hotel's WiFi coverage is particularly comprehensive, whether in the room, lobby, restaurant, or in the corner of the corridor, the WiFi signal is very strong, there will be no disconnection. I have tested it in various places in the hotel, the speed is very stable, and the video, game, and download files are smooth. For those who need to surf the Internet at any time, such a comprehensive and stable WiFi is really important.
