When you walk into the lobby you're astounded by the richness of it. It's shiny and modern and lovely. Everyone is professional and friendly, and you're literally attached to the airport, so all your anxiety melts away knowing you'll get there on time.
You go up the elevator to your floor and the musty smell of mildew slaps you in the nose. You push your luggage through deep pile carpet, trying not to think about how long it's been there and swearing you've seen it in some classic 80s films. You get to your room. It's the smell that hits you first. Moldy. It's overwhelming. You go to open a window but it's secured shut with screws. The warped walls and carpets tell you this hotel was a gem thirty or forty years ago and they've done very little to it since. The refillable water bottle is amazing. I loved it. The shower was hot and the bathroom was clean. Excellent. The smell gave me a headache and I slept poorly because the ac had to stay on and stay cold to keep the smell at bay. The breakfast was a good break from the bleakness of the room. I guess what bothers me is it wouldn't take a whole lot to make some improvements. New carpet. Air purifier. I know there's more than a thousand rooms, but there's no way they're filling them all up at these prices. Just fix it up section by section.

Pros:
1) Excellent Location right at market
2) Room amenities & cleanliness are top notch in the hotel .
3) Breakfast is sumptuous and has a really wide variety in the buffet options .
4) Concierge desk is super . Very helpful staff.
5) Housekeeping staff is super quick & efficient .
Area of improvement:
-Reception staff needs to improve on courtesy and manners . They are very cold and need to be more courteous and customer friendly .
-Reception charged 10 HKD$ extra for a page print of your flight ticket even after staying in The Mira suite room. This is really annoying and unexpected from such a big hotel to levy such petty charges on print outs . Some things are not expected from a star category hotel . The management should look into this petty things & try to make small amends.

I noticed a few things that made no sense for a hotel of this star rating.
The mini bar is a joke (see photo).
There was no luggage rack, so my suitcase had to be put on the bed to use it.
The safe in the room is not secured down, so anyone could walk in and walk away with the safe.
I don't like dealing with the virtue signaling people who are still wearing masks, and when I asked the girl to remove it so I could see her face while checking in, she refused. When I spoke to a manager about this, he said that they allow the staff to do what they like. Must be the only business in the world that would allow such a thing.

Good view on the 15th floor. Room was great but some hairs and remanings in the electric kettle. Bathtub plug was not working but has been fixed quickly. Great breakfast and very good location. All in all a very decent hotel but also rather expensive.

I recently stayed at Cordis Hotel Hong Kong, and I’m thrilled to share how wonderful my experience was, largely due to the exceptional service from Ernest and Benson at Reception. Their warm hospitality, professionalism, and genuine care made me feel so welcomed from the very start. Even though the hardware in the room wasn’t the newest, I encountered an issue with the TV screen mirroring. However, their quick response and attentiveness turned a minor inconvenience into a display of outstanding customer service. Within no time, the problem was addressed, and I felt truly valued as a guest. I’d also like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the IT Department and Engineering team for their swift assistance—please ensure they receive my appreciation for their hard work behind the scenes. Ernest and Benson’s dedication, combined with the support of these teams, made my stay unforgettable. I highly recommend Cordis Hotel Hong Kong to anyone visiting the city; their commitment to guest satisfaction is unmatched. Thank you again for an incredible experience

I had a very comfortable stay at Hong Kong SkyCity Marriott before my flight. The room was clean, quiet, and well-equipped, allowing me to relax fully. The hotel’s free airport shuttle was convenient, and the staff were friendly and efficient. Overall, a great place to rest before a long journey!

1. Nice Pool
Awesome pool view overseeing with the Aberdeen Channel and sea. Not overcrowding or rowdy at all in the morning. There is a separate water-play area for toddlers and slides for bigger kids. Sufficient life vests provided and life guards are in place.
2. Breakfast
We topped up for breakfast on last day at a high price (though slight discount are given for hotel guests). To our shocking dismay, there is nothing much to choose and eat for 4 of us (my elderly mother, big sister and my 6yo girl)! You can see from our picture how pathetic the foods we have on plates. Especially for a 5-star hotel standard!! There are zero international cuisine and dessert/mini cakes for selection; and the Japanese sides are simply off without any sushi or ramen counter.
Also, we are not seated at the main lobby area with the wide seating but placed in a further up seating section that are without much view and maximised space with many tables.
Spent close to S$200 for this standard?! Total waste of my money!!
3. Shuttle Bus
Upon checking in hotel, the staff never mention to me about the shuttle bus. So only when we decided to go to Ocean Park then I purposely enquired on night before. Wish their staff could be more helpful, otherwise more signage to point or direct the way.
4. Guest Room
Our room is furnished in classy style that are refreshing and pleasing to the eyes matching the great ocean view. However, it is a little cramped after we repositioned the chairs, to fit in our 4 luggage leaving only 1 tight pathway to walk up and down the room. Also the lamp shades are unbearable to look at, really rusty and disgusting.

I don’t often write reviews but this time I will. Great location, extremely friendly staff that speak English, Mandarin and of course Cantonese. The housekeeping staff were great and friendly. Especially the lady that cleaned our 2707 room on 13/05/25 was so kind to my girlfriend who was suffering from sunburns. I would definitely stay in this hotel again. The only two things that need change is that the doors slam closed really loudly and woke us up a few times and the showers don’t have doors so the bathroom can get wet.
Ps: sorry for the messy room photos, we were checking out and I realized I didn’t take any photos yet.

Our family had an unforgettable stay at the Kowloon Shangri-La! From the moment we arrived, the level of hospitality was exceptional. The check-in process was quick and seamless, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring our stay was comfortable from start to finish.
The rooms were spacious, well-equipped, and perfect for our family. We were impressed by the stunning views of Victoria Harbour and the cleanliness and comfort of the entire suite. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and there were thoughtful touches like extra pillows and blankets for the kids, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
The hotel offered a range of kid-friendly amenities, including an indoor pool where our children had a blast. We also appreciated the hotel’s convenient location, with easy access to the MTR and being so close to many attractions, including the vibrant Tsim Sha Tsui district. Shopping, dining, and sightseeing were all just a short walk away.
Breakfast at the hotel was a real highlight—there was a fantastic selection of both local and international dishes that catered to all tastes.
The hotel’s team went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, whether it was arranging a taxi or giving us helpful recommendations for family-friendly activities around Kowloon.
Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience at Kowloon Shangri-La. It truly made our family vacation in Hong Kong special. We highly recommend this hotel to any family looking for luxury, comfort, and excellent service. We can’t wait to return!

We booked two rooms at the Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong, and my parents were extremely satisfied with their stay. They stayed in a room with two large double beds, and everything was perfect. The view from the room was breathtaking, and the room size was spacious and very comfortable.
All aspects—service, facilities, location, and cleanliness—were absolutely top-notch, deserving a full 10/10. Highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and luxurious stay, especially for families!

AAnassServices and amenities are great. Only two negative points I had which will prevent me from ever going back there: they used the email address I provided to subscribe me to their marketing emails despite explicitly asking not to and filling the form to avoid these emails as well. I am now receiving few emails a day and unable to unsubscribe. I had to create a specific rule for GHA Discovery emails to go straight to the bin, but they also subscribed me to third party marketing…
The second point, I purchased a food credit when I checked in, during the whole stay the staff won’t answer how much of that was used, only on check out they’d let you know if you spent more to pay the balance.

JjeffreycschowHands down, this is a very lovely hotel and is the most glittering gem in Kowloon.
- nice and sleek interior design that puts it on the pedestal in the same league;
- squeaky clean and spick and span;
- very comfortable bed that you are mollycoddled, from the very first moment you hit the sack;
- quiet and reclusive, and the modern life and vibrancy is a stone's throw away;
- Facilities just as described, almost brand new, wonderful.
Simply the best accommodation!

GGuest UserThis was my second stay at Hyatt Sha Tin this year. After a great experience in May, I returned last weekend for a short solo visit. The rooms remain impressively spacious and comfortable, creating a relaxing environment that's perfect for unwinding. Service was consistently excellent—staff were warm, attentive, and upheld the high standards I’ve come to expect from this hotel. Although the weather was stormy due to a typhoon, the sea-view room still offered a sense of openness and tranquility. The hotel’s direct access to University MTR Station made commuting into the city via the East Rail Line fast and convenient. I also appreciated the well-maintained fitness center, which is equipped with quality machines and provided a solid workout experience. Due to typhoon weather conditions during my visit, I was unfortunately unable to enjoy the swimming pool facilities, which was a bit disappointing.
Overall, Hyatt Sha Tin continues to be a reliable choice for accommodation, and I look forward to an even better experience during my next stay.

GGuest UserRoom is spacious and well equipped. Beddings and shower are very nice.
The best is definitely the infinity pool overlooking the sea, we spent quite a lot of time chilling at the pool.
Buffet breakfast is very good as well, lots of choices.
Staff are very helpful and friendly. It would be even better if the check-in time could be a bit earlier say 1-2pm.
GGuest UserReally nice location and great buffet breakfast. Baby slept so well in the hotel’s crib. Love the oversized tub, whole family can bath and chill like the Japanese style
MManta1Resort is an inflated term. Pool closed, spa closed, rooms are upstairs but there is no elevator so be ready to carry your bags. Small washer and dryer in the sauna room, outdated fitness equipment. Weird 'token' system for using the 'resort' things like washer or sauna.Interesting little game area downstairs, a couple kayaks and bikes to rent. Few real amenities that would make this a ”resort”. It's a decent hotel.
The rooms are clean but the windows don't open so it gets very stuffy, the fridge froze everything and the bathroom is tiny and dated.My view was gross, so I kept the shade down.
When the tide is out there is a beach, it is close to the ferry pier and a very pretty view when the construction is not going. The sun rises right in front of the hotel!
Restaurant has a large menu for dinner, but only one choice for breakfast (set meal or nothing).
What saves this place is the staff! They are wonderful, lovely people!
