"The apartment was very clean with large shower room and comfy bed. The communication was great and the snacks and tea making facilities were spot on. The only problem we had was the light outside our apartment 34 was not working which left the steps dimly lit and had to use phone torch to open door with the key when returned from evening out. Would definitely stay again though. Thanks"

"We checked in around 8:30 pm after a long journey from Canada and found that the kitchen was closed at 8 pm. Really disappointed! Anyhow, staff are friendly and helpful, room is cozy, breakfast is great. After checking out and got to our airbnb, my husband unpacked his suitcase and realized that he left his Tshirt in the room. We called and to our surprise we were told it was not there! How could that be? If it happened in Italy, we would be okay but this was at the pub hotel in little hamlet in Yorkshire!"

"The hotel is ideally situated in walking distance to most shops and the town centre.
It is not flashy and areas of the hotel are a little outdated but it was ideal for what I needed whilst visiting Halifax. The bed was comfy and the staff are super
friendly! I instantly felt welcome and very comfortable to ask for assistance if I needed it.
I would stay at The Old Post Office again.
Top tip: if you are a solo traveler and rooms are not showing as available, then phone The Old Post Office directly. I was told the rates are £48 per night for solo travelers. "
