Afew of us stopped over for one night before my wedding at a venue afew miles away.
I had visited before one morning & had breakfast outside,it was a lovely sunny morning.
Our room was nice,clean,
The bed was comfy.
We had an evening meal with afew drinks,
The food was lovely & with the drinks reasonably priced.
The breakfast the morning after,included in the price of the room,was good too.
Plenty of car parking.
In a lovely quiet,stunning spot.
Will be going back soon.

Pub was lovely, food was great, staff really looked after us and the room was really nice too! 10/10 would definitely stay again

Positives, the staff were nice. The pub closed at 10pm so music (which is very audible in bedroom) went off at 10.10pm. The bed was comfy.
Negative: the baffles in the kitchen must need a good clean, the smell of grease is strong throughout the back dining area and accommodation area. Breakfast was poor, uncooked tomato, sad bacon sandwich. Cheap tea etc.

Very nice room and bathroom. Only downsides are the fact we could not open the window so the room was a bit too warm for our liking. Also access to the property is along some very tight, narrow lanes which may be problematic for some people

Nice place in nice location. Charging hotel and comfortable clean room with bathroom. Also had a nice breakfast and the manager was friendly and accommodating.
My one complaint is that my bed sunk in the middle and it caused my back to spasm in the night and it was very painful on awakening. Not good for someone with back problems - firmer mattresses needed!

Nice hotel, rather off the beaten track & quite hilly narrow roads leading to it. If you are looking for good hill walking, then this place us in the ideal spot for you.
