Good location for sight seeing. We were therefor a family occasion but will return soon to visit the sights. The hotel offered a fantastic range of food in their restaurant, breakfast was amazing. Rooms were fresh and bright, everything you need for a break.

Excellent hotel beautifully decorated so comfortable. Staff can’t do enough for you really friendly really made a difference would definitely stay again . Breakfast is excellent great service. We have stayed in Portsmouth many times over the years in different hotels this is by far the best .

A beautifully decorated and welcoming hotel. There's off street parking that is reserved for the duration of your stay. Breakfast was delicious,theres a realy good menu choice.There's a bar owned by the same company just across the road that also serves delicious food. The staff are delightful 😊

Booking in and checking in was very easy. We had pre-booked parking and had instructions emailed to us on the day, these were super easy to follow. We were welcomed by the lovely team and welcomed to our room. All the team we spoke with were really helpful and friendly. The room was lovely and bed comfy, and breakfast was top notch!

Very disappointing . We booked an Executive King Room which turned out to be located in the basement and was small, stuffy and felt like a dungeon. The small windows opened directly onto a deck and spa which was weird - if anyone had been using them we wouldn’t have had any privacy at all. The bed was terrible, the mattress was really hard and the sides offered no support so we had very little sleep. The base of the mattress was covered in black scuff marks. The shower shelf was fitted on a lean and the bathroom was not very clean. Again the window opens directly onto the deck/spa so had to be kept shut. On a positive note the staff were friendly and helpful and we had dinner in the Florence Arms which was superb. Breakfast was also very nice. Overall we are glad we only had a one night stay, we could not have spent another night in that bed. The standard of the room was not what we expected for an “Executive” room and certainly not for the price. We would not recommend a this place.

Definitely a 5/5 on location, value, service and breakfast! Couldn’t fault it. We had a lovely room on the first floor with bath and shower. Spotlessly clean. We had breakfast out in the courtyard and had dinner both nights in the onsite restaurant. Special thanks to Charlotte. I’m sure we will be back and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Lovely boutique hotel in a good location. Rooms nice size and beautifully decorated. The room we had was quiet. Bed and pillows very comfy. We did not eat here, but the restaurant always looked busy. Staff very pleasant and engaging. Parking is limited and chargeable, but this was not an issue for us.

By far the nicest hotel in Portsmouth for so many reasons. The staff are the best - friendliest, most helpful and genuine. The rooms are lovely; beautifully decorated boutique style, super comfortable beds and great facilities. The location is wonderful - a short walk to the beach and situated in a quiet area. The food in the restaurant is superb. I've eaten here many times, and it's wonderful to sit in the garden restaurant enjoying fresh, beautifully prepared delicious food. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.
