The staff were very helpful and looked after us well. The room was spacious and clean The breakfast was excellent Will definitely stay there when I return to Whitley Bay Free car parking. Whitley Bay Playhouse is in close walking distance. We went to see Joe Mcelderry and had a great time.

Even though the hotel is large and busy, it was a pleasant, relaxing stay. The location is a bit remote if you don't have a car, but the staff arranged good local taxis and directed us to the nearest Metro station.The rooms are good basic standard,the health club and pool are excellent and the bar-lounge has a well-organised bar and lots of TV screens to watch sport, including a nice side area with a big TV screen set up like a mini-cinema.The only moan was the breakfast - the scambled egg was very watery, the fried eggs were oily - the bacon sausages and beans were OK but the potatoes looked unappetising. The croissants and toast were fine, though, and the coffee machine did a good job - can we have a wider variety of fruit next time we come, please? All in all, I would recommend the Village as a pleasant, affordable place to stay with excellent facilities. We'll cetrainly come back when we're passing through Newcastle.

Whilst the hotel was clean and tidy, the location given of Newcastle Whitemare Pool is very misleading. This hotel is situated approx 8-10miles from Newcastle so be aware if you book thinking you have got a bargain Newcastle hotel.

The hotel is opposite the beach and the view is very good. The room is small, but it is also enough, the furnishings are very retro and the bathroom is large. Free parking is available before and after. Downstairs there are Italian restaurants and bars, as well as a tea room. The tea restaurant closes at 6 o'clock in the evening, and the other two are 11:30. The soundproofing is not good. In the morning, I can hear the traveler next door. It is extremely noisy in the middle of the night. At 1 o'clock in the morning, the rock is stopped. . . . There is also a laugh. . . People who love to play are very suitable. This hotel is not a place to stay for more than two nights. They do not clean your room and provide replenished supplies. You have to ask every time you need something, tissues toilet paper milk tea coffee clean towels soap. It is an hotel with many rooms but it seems as though there are only four disabled parking places close to the front of the hotel the last couple of nights the two disabled parking spaces were filled by expensive Porsches that did not display blue badges. Seems they think they can do what they like The parking is monitored by parking eye. Be careful as you may end up with a hefty parking charge from ******* like them It gets very noisy at the weekends, ask for ear plugs and they look at you stupid. Generally they could save a fortune by turning the hot water temperature down and using thermostatic mixer taps. The aircraft noise starts between 6am and 7 am. There seems to be a lot of secrecy you have to ask for menu’s then get told where to get it Be a good idea if they had menus in the rooms.food not bad reasonable price but would have liked menu in rooms Interesting caveats you don’t get a refund if you have a covid related issue or if Ukraine causes problems but they do not have any protocol’s in place about social distancing. The lifts are a free for all and there are no notices about about who should be in the lift . I think the rated capacity is 10 or 75 kg. I would like to see limits on lift capacity and stopping un related people entering the lifts. Three times I told people I did not want to share the lift but they still piled in so I left. One way to prevent this would be to not have interrupted journeys if you get in on floor 2 and want to go to ground floor do not stop at level 1. They seem to be more concerned with their profits than customer safety or protection. You can get rooms cheaper on other websites than their own checkin Would I be going back? ?? Not 100% sure yet but 99.99% I won’t be returning

We stayed in a room overlooking the roadway and (I think) our room's double glazing was compromised as we could clearly hear the noise of every passing car - some which were boy racers with high revs. We complained to reception (as they asked how our night had been) and they apologised. Wether they reported it I don't know.

The hotel is new, spacious and well equipped. There is a children's activity area in the hall where children can read and play, and older children can also play table football. The hotel also offers dinner, and there is a bar for drinks. The room is very spacious. Most of the holiday family rooms booked during the trip are in the same condition. This room is the most spacious. The sofa bed is still spacious and comfortable. If you are traveling with children passing by here, living here is very suitable.

We went to Seaham with the kids for the glass beach and this was cheap and really really clean which was very good plus the bedroom for us was ample. The food was just outstanding especially the ty restaurant X the kids loved it and the staff was friendly, helpful x thankyou 🥰 xx
