The two-bedroom and one-living room are very large. The rooms are well-equipped. The hotel is the most satisfying. The parents are also satisfied. There are three bathrooms in the three houses. The rooms are private and have a family gathering feeling. There is a supermarket next to it. The hotel is a resort nature. There are many entertainment facilities inside the hotel. Starbucks pizza and burger restaurants are very convenient. Parking is required. Please ask my little brother for 29 dollars a day.

Just spent a week at this resort. We had a one bedroom unit. The location is fantastic...right in the middle of the Heavenly Resort area....two blocks to the casino and a few blocks to the lake (albeit a $25.00 per person charge). This was a great base for hiking (must go to Emerald Bay!) and all other activities. The music and bands at night in Heavenly Village were great. Just walk right out your door and you are in the middle of everything. The whole area is very crowded on the weekends. The only problem is parking....you must Valet Park for $32 a day (however, if you trade in or are an owner, the fee is waived). Just walk through Heavenly Village to get to Ralley's Supermarket. There you find everything you need for food, drinks, etc. The workers at the resort were really very nice. I honestly can't think of a thing that was negative.

I visited the place during the shoulder season and found warm, helpful staff and a comfortable room. Great location near the lake and the village allowing one to walk most places. I didn't make it to the continental breakfast because it starts at 7.

We really liked the Station House Inn for our stay in Tahoe. The pros: great location in South Lake Tahoe off the main drag (we walked everywhere including a block or so down to the beach!), the decor was fun and well done, there were several places to hang out around the property including two fire pits, the toiletries smelled great, there is a heated pool, and the bed was comfy. The cons: no microwave in the room (there is a mini fridge) and the trash cans were not bear proof which led to a visitor turning them over on two separate late nights (he was GIANT).

My wife and I visited The Landing in August for our anniversary! The landing had such great employees that were ready to serve you. The food was great! The rooms were clean and spotless! Housekeeping were attentive with every little thing. You can tell how much pride they have making sure the rooms were kept up with and how much they paid attention to cleanliness. This resort was the fresh breath of air my family member and I needed on our long trip from the East Coast. After a not-so-good hotel stays at another hotel the night before Forest Suites offered quite a few pleasant surprises. The first was when we checked in they had upgraded us to a two-bedroom suite without any additional cost to us. The Room was just amazing my family member and I each had our own bedroom and bathroom there was also a living room and a kitchen with a refrigerator. Outside there was a pool and a Hot Tub and an outdoor fire pit. The Resort was just a few minute walk to the Heavenly Village a great little touristy stop with shops and lots of restaurants there is something for everyone to enjoy. My family member and I stayed there for two nights and I wish we could have stayed longer. What really topped off the experience for me was finding a welcome gift of slippers waiting for me in my bedroom from the Forest Suites Resorts.

The room was very cute and appropriate for an older mountain lake hotel. It was clean and the amenities were exactly what we needed. The view was beautiful which made up for any room shortcomings and despite it being pretty warm, there was a nice breeze most of the time we were there. Since there's no air conditioning, the floor fan helped in the evenings when the wind died down. The location was great since there were several restaurants within walking distance. The only real complaints are that the pads on the metal chairs on the balcony were all worn down, making it feel like you were sitting on the seat bars. We reversed the pad so that we were sitting on the back section of the pad which helped but the pads should be replaced. Although the mattress was ok, it wasn't that comfortable. An upgrade on the mattress would be helpful.

This was a strange experience for one of the two days we stayed here. We were in the 300 building, and our room's floor, our furniture, the bed and a fair expanse of the walkway outside our room (which was on the 3rd level) were all vibrating for hours during the day and into the evenings. It took a while to find out that the commercial laundry for the hotel (where the sheets and towels, etc. are washed) was on the first level of this building, and they were using the largest washers and dryers I have ever seen, causing really noticable shaking even on the 3rd level. One of the maintennce guys said they stop doing the laundry at 9 p.m. They did not, so we went to the front desk and asked to be moved, which they did for us the next day. The second room was in a different building, and nothing was shaking. It was actually a much bigger and nicer room, too. My advice is to avoid the 300 building altogether. Other than that, the staff were polite and breakfast was fine.
