Very warm welcome and everything as it should be. Swift service both at the hotel and Beefeater next door. Good location for motorway but it’s not in Solihull- it’s in Shirley which is a distance from Solihull itself. No problem to us though.

Wuxisha Holiday Camp feels like a primary school graduation camp! And there was a pack of expired and unopened ice cream jelly in the room! The only thing worth appreciating is the steakhouse opposite!

Never stayed in a hotel before, so i was a bit weary of what it was going to be like. We stayed the whole weekend and it was brilliant. Staff were great, very welcoming, especially Raj. It was definetly value for money, clean bedding, kettle, tea and coffee. Really comfy bed! Which was needed after a long journey. We will most definitely be visiting again.

The whole place is very tired. The restaurant is very tatty and couldn’t offer a full menu. We had to ask for a different room as the first one smelt of ****. They cancelled the cooked breakfasts we had paid for and only refunded four pounds. We then had to go out and buy breakfast elsewhere. Staff were pleasant enough and the bed was comfortable.

I booked this hotel thinking that I was expecting a standard Premier Inn hotel. Unfortunately it is very dated and in need of an overhaul. We stayed in room 8. It smelt of bleach on walking in and was very damp. Reception told us that the hotel was full and no other family rooms were available, so we had to make the best of it, as we were travelling with 2 kids and they were knackered. Reception supplied an air purifier (seems like this is common for them to offer out) We paid for breakfast and this was in the next door pub. The place looked deserted apart from 2 members of staff trying to get things in order. There were plates and messy tables everywhere. Shortly after we were seated, more staff members turned up but more patrons were turning up as well. It generally was a sad state of affairs. One to avoid tbh

The room was adequate. I did well with meal deals. Ricky,Maia,Sophia,Millie,Brooke,Gurpreet and Josh were brilliant. Good atmosphere treated us all equally to point of what they been trained for. Some outshined others in how they first approach you. First impression! We might see you next year to see the new development. Thank you.

Very disappointed for a Premier Inn. The hand sink plug got jammed and seemed like a regular issue. The plug hole in the bath had the previous occupants hair in it. The heating made a ping as it switched on and creaked and squeeked waking my husband. Staff were friendly when at reception. Breakfast was not up to scratch. We had to advise staff of an issue with the bacon being off. Functional but wouldn't revisit.

Upon arrival, the staff were incredibly rude and abrupt, making me feel like a burden. When getting to the room, I found hair in the wash basin, a hole in the shower pipe, causing a leak, towels smelt damp, and generally not up to the standard of other premier inns. When going to the restaurant, there was limited availability on everything, including drinks whereby they had no real ales and one type of bottled cider- which resulted in up charges from the meal deal. When receiving our food, there was a starter missing, a main missing, and a dessert missing- all different people. If only my main meal was missing, overcooked steak, cold chips and peas. The ketchup out the sachet was warmer than the food itself. Incredibly disappointing. Incredibly rude staff throughout, no customer service skills. When going back to the room, it was freezing cold, only to heat up beyond belief in the middle of the night? In the morning, I could play golf with the eggs they were so hard, sausage cold, and small portion sizes despite being labelled as ‘unlimited’, for which they did not ask us how much we wanted. Overall an incredibly disappointing experience. Such a shame as my daughter works for Whitbread, and the standards at her restaurant/hotel far exceed what I experienced in Solihull.
