Look out of your window at Solihull Hockley Heath, M42 and you'll see countryside all around you. In fact you'll be surprised by just how green the Black Country really is. And, with Shakespeare's hometown just up the road, the stage is set for a great break. Watch star-crossed lovers Romeo and Juliet at Stratford. Or watch modern lovers get married at nearby wedding venues. See the jousting at Warwick Castle. Then taste the chocolate at Cadbury World. Comfy beds and a Beefeater restaurant will welcome you home where you can drift off to a great night's sleep.
"Great hotel to stay in if you are traveling for work. Pool and jacuzzi is always a bonus. Great food in the Burgundy restaurant, but don't order Tiramusu (it's too creamy, no taste of coffee or alcohol - very bad)! Staff members are friendly, let us stay for an extra hour, which was nice."
"Very warm welcome and everything as it should be. Swift service both at the hotel and Beefeater next door. Good location for motorway but it’s not in Solihull- it’s in Shirley which is a distance from Solihull itself. No problem to us though. "

"Very close to the work address, the traffic is convenient, but you have to rent a car. The next day I knew that it was a hotel where Indians were setting it down. Breakfast is too general, even coffee is washed."
"Stayed for 1 night prior to early flight. It was further from the airport than I thought it was. The bed was comfortable and bedding spotless The hubby liked the fact he could see the aircraft take off and land from the room so wasn’t disappointed that it was further than anticipated. The bathroom was adequate but I’m not sure about having a shower curtain instead of a screen but it did look clean. The meals we had were nice and a couple of drinks in bar. Hospitally tray was adequate too. You need to ask reception for hairdryers but not an issue. Overall it’s great value for money and we would stay again. All the staff we came into contact were friendly and professional at all times"
"I rang ahead and asked if I could check in 20 mins earlier but that was extra £20. Was given room 400 but was dirty. Moved to room 435 which was opposite lift and an accessible room. Facilities included tea/coffee, ironing board and safe. The room faced the departures area of the airport. There is a bar & restaurant on site. The room itself was quiet and sound proof from airport noise. Staff seemed friendly enough. But the hotel is more 3 star than 4 star. Convenient for the location."
"Great location. Perfect for the departure lounge. Bar okay but busy. Out of stock of some beers but wine good. Took taxi to Resorts World for food. Make sure you walk to drop off area up get it though. All non stopping route around hotels. Recommend. Lots of restaurants and much better than eating in hotel. Would use again"
"Arrived for check in and was told they had made an error and offered me 2 rooms instead of 1 family room. As I had 2 minors with me this was not acceptable. They gave us 2 rooms with adjoining door so we could still be together."
"Nice room, clean, location is a bit strange lack of road markings and signs, easily miss the entry if turning right when driving in the dark, plenty of car parking spaces, but a hefty charge of 12gbp even that it belongs to them, a little bit of pocket picking, would rather pay a higher price for the room and park for free will feel better. Swimming pool is cold, but jacuzzi is correct temperature. Steam sauna is pointless because its 40 degree max. Gym room quite small but its enough to lose a few calories."
"Met with a warm greeting at reception. Registration was swift. The room was spacious, clean, and modern. Excellent facilities both at the hotel and nearby. Food and beverages are reasonably priced. Breakfast was plenty and wholesome."

GGuest UserHotel location is lovely set off the road behind a riding school and the staff are friendly
You have to pay for your meals as you go along as you cannot add anything to your hotel bill.
Water, biscuits and face cloth were not consistently replenished
GGuest UserAnother successful stay here .
It’s a super little place if you need to be Solihull area,
Super lovely staff who are always helpful with a smile ,it is very clean comfortable beds .
It is an old building but well maintained by the team so if you want luxury maybe look elsewhere but the price is a reflection of this .
I am well travelled but have no problem with this lodge and have stayed several times in recent months and been very happy ,infact its popularity means you sometimes a cannot make a reservation .
So that speaks for itself .
GGuest UserIt was a nice big room, the bed with four-poster. The receptionists were doing their job properly. We only stayed one night, did not use all the facilities, such as bar, swimming or gym which there were available, only the restaurant.
The bed is too soft, my husband was sank into it. He did not have a good night sleep.
AanjanaIt was awful night. We booked this hotel to catch early morning flight. We didn’t even sleep for 1minute peacefully.old air condition.it was freaking hot and ac was not working.they should implement the new AC system.will never go again.window was also not good.you won’t be able to open it. Room was tiny and you will get suffocated
SSarahSecond time staying in this lovely hotel and did not disappoint again. Lovely location, comfortable rooms and bed and the staff are very friendly.
AAnonymous UserThe location of the hotel is not very convenient. There are no good transportation facilities, supermarkets and restaurants in the surrounding area. You need to walk for a while to reach the bus station and restaurants. The hotel's front desk clerk was very nice, but the hotel did not provide comprehensive equipment, such as slippers and hairdryers.
