I know this Premier Inn has mixed reviews, but we found it to be almost perfect for what we wanted. We stayed one night, before an early morning trip to the airport. It's a lot cheaper than staying at the Premier Inn closest to the airport, but it's still only a 15 mins drive away. There is ample free parking. It looks a bit rundown when you first turn into the pub car park and there was old furniture scattered around outside. First impressions weren't great, but once you get inside it was a complete contrast. The staff were friendly. Everywhere was clean and tidy and it looked like the room had been recently modernised. It was very spacious, there was somewhere to put the case, free WiFi, sockets on both sides of the bed, the bed was comfy, the shower was powerful, Baylis and Harding hand wash and shower gel is provided and the mood lighting in the bathroom was a nice feature. The room was warm and extremely peaceful, no traffic noise. It was a really relaxing stay. A couple of things to mention are the hotel has no lift and a handrail in the shower would be beneficial. Overall, though, we thought this was one of the best Premier Inn rooms we've stayed in.
