Very good and trustworthy.

The hotel is 10 minutes from the central station by walking. You can walk to nearly all main attractions in the city. They allowed us to check in early. The receptionist and the cleaning lady were nice and helpful. The room we booked was the deluxe one so it was big enough to accomodate the three of us. Only two negative points are the fact that it is very noisy at night and if you walk to the hotel at night (after 11pm) the surroundings seem to be a bit dangerous.

Iztok
I stayed at this hotel during a dance festival and this was actually one of the few advantages of this hotel (all the workshops here held there). Cleaning ok. It is very cold in room (I slept on a sofe near the windows and I could not sleep because of the cold and the noise coming from outside). Breakfast is quite poor in terms of options (if you decide to have breakfast after 8:30, you will see that there is not much food left and they do not bring more). Also, they charge you for the parking. the card does not work when you want to exist the parking and since the doorman does not speak English it is quite difficult to explain that you have already paid for the parking.

Lovely family hotel in the heart of Sofia. Very convenient location within walking distance to metro, Vitosha Blvd., National Palace of Culture, Al. Nevski Cathedral and so on. Rooms were clean, staff was polite and English-speaking. Breakfast was good. It had all you need, though not many tables for groups of 4 for example. Restaurant was also good - Greek food, good prices and polite staff. If I could point out a negative thing it would be that it can be a bit noisy in the evening. But considering the central location you can not expect complete silence either. Almost next to the hotel there is a small store for fruits and vegetables with amazing strawberries.
Meg-Lozenetz Hotel

Lozenets
The hotel is just a few steps from the “European Union” metro station just south of the center of Sofia. The hotel and neighborhood are both quiet, safe and conveniently located to what I must say is Sofia’s excellent Metro system (you can get almost anywhere in no time for very cheap)! I got to the airport from here in about 35 minutes (not rush hour). The bathrooms are newly refurbished and the rooms are quite large. The decoration is a bit dated (in an older Bulgarian style), but the furniture and king-sized bed were quite comfortable. They allow smoking in the building (so if this is a deal-breaker, go somewhere else). I, for one, am not bothered by it, so I found the hotel quaint and appropriate for my stay. The staff was polite and very helpful. Their English was quite good. For approximately $70, you cannot pass this hotel up.

Currently sitting in Introvert Hotel Sofia after a 2 night stay. Have travelled through 4 Balkan countries over last couple of weeks and this is hands down the best hotel I've been in. Room is so beautiful. Really makes me want to up my home decor it was so gorgeous. There is a free soft drinks fridge and coffee facilities which is brilliant. Location is perfect. Very central but also just across the road from metro stop, which also goes to airport. Very modern and beautiful hotel and stunning facilities. Staff are so helpful. I checked out at 12 noon and it's 10pm now. Staff told me to feel free to use common areas till I need to go to the airport which I am doing late tonight. The common area is amazing, see photos. Even lovely touches like projector lamp. I just want to stay here and not go because it's so relaxing and if or when I'm back in sofia I'll definitely be staying here. Thank you!!!
