A resort type hotel in form of brick bungalow in Europe. It comes with a private pier where you could board on a comfortable boat going to Ortigia (the old town) in half an hour. The landscape there looks so gorgeous that anyone who lives in this hotel should miss it. It also has a private beach which can be accessed through a private tunnel which is quite interesting. Overall, a very beautiful resort overlooking the ortigia with very friendly services and 5-star facilities.

I would say it is one of the top hotels in Siracusa, location is about 15min ride from ortigia island but the hotel it self is great private beaches great service, very quiet and spacious. Regretted to only stay one night. Recommended.

It’s a beautiful hotel. The cliffs are great for taking pictures. It’s an impressive trip. It took a while to decorate the room.

Resort is beautiful, gardens excellent, privacy, staff very good!!! Esp the guest services arranged very good activities for us. As extra activities we can really recommend cooking class at area m incl market tour. Also sailing is a great activity to add.

Minareto was a delightful experience. The accommodations and service were excellent. The on site first class restaurant was extraordinary. Ideal location to base for exploring the east side of Sicily. Let the hotel schedule your boat trip to Ortega.

Beautiful location with a view of Ortigia. It can be reached by boat shuttle or taxi both at extra charge. Our room was big but dark. Lighting was poor. Breakfast buffet was good and you can dine outside. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Easy drive to Noto, Modica and Ragusa. Parking is available. A car is recommended. The resort will need a refresh in the near future based on our room.

This is a lovely hotel with beautiful grounds and fantastic views across to Ortigia and wonderful sunsets across the sea. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is very good. Downside is that it's quite a distance from other good restaurants, but I understand that they are due to open an additional one on their site. An easy change they can and should make is to use handrails within the site. The lack of them presents a serious challenge to people who need something to hold on to when going up and down steps. Overall though, we had a lovely holiday and I would thoroughly recommend the hotel. The Jet2 staff member based at the hotel was very helpful too.

Excellent hotel. Some of the reviews we read left us a little concerned. We need not have worried. The location is beautiful and peaceful. Syracuse is within easy reach / beautiful to look at across the bay - chaotic & busy. However the hotel is a haven of peace & tranquility. The staff are lovely to a person. They are charming and can’t do enough for you. The food in the restaurant very good. The hotel arranged a. Excellent guided day for us in Ortiga. Is it all perfect - of course not. The hotel charges for everything - pricing is high, commensurate with room rate. You’re pretty captive without paying for boat / taxi transfers. We’ll come back and stay again as it’s a gem of a place on a beautiful island with beautiful weather..

Amazing luxury resort in a postcard location We blown away by the place. Our room was overlooking the old town of Siracusa across the bay. The resort offer a ferry service to the old town at additional charge. Had a wonderful afternoon in old Syracuse and then a romantic boat ride back to resort. The meals in restaurant were 5 star and the service impeccable. Be warned that prices are high but worth it when you feel like spoiling yourself. We swam at the sandy beach but predominately we spent our time by the pool. A truely memorable experience.
