"There are not sufficient words to describe how wonderful our stay was. Although Sihanoukville itself is a bit of an eyesore, the staff at Seabreeze make you feel so welcome and at home, that you embrace everything for what it is. The bungalow itself is not particularly big, but the proximity to the beach was definitely a plus, and being poolside with a few cocktails helped too. The staff go out of their way to attend to whatever you may need. We requested help getting a driver, and even asked the Hotel staff to fetch our COVID tests results while we were in Koh Rong. They did it all! The food was amazing, because there is such a wide variety. I would definitely recommend staying here."

"The resort was lovely. I can see this being the perfect place for family travel. There is a small beach a short walk from the reception. Long set beach is about 15-20 minute walk away. If you land at long set beach I recommend walking to the resort because it's very difficult to find on on a motorcycle. If you do take a motorcycle make sure to arrange for someone to wait at the road to show you the way. Everything else was great."
"It's too bad I couldn't read reviews about this place in low season. I was not so much confused by the rains, which fell for 70% of our vacation, as the color of the water in the sea. It is dirty, yellow-green in color. In general, the hotel is good. The territory is very beautiful. Very clean and well-kept. There are not enough personal hygiene products in the room. A restaurant with delicious dishes! Foreign cooks work, which was very surprising. I would return to this place, but in high season."
"Pros:
- the most beautiful beach I've seen in my life. White sand as thin as flour. Transparent water. Fish swimming around, seashells, crabs...
- kids love it. There's almost no waves. You can walk 50m into the sea and the water just reaches your waist. Great for little kid. Our 1.5 y.o. kid loved playing in the water.
- the restaurant of the hotel serves fusion food. Delicious and not pricey. The neighboring hotel Your and Me has a restaurant that makes more traditional khmer food that is also delicious.
- the room is spacious, bright, with an incredible view. Anyway, you will spend the whole day outside.
- for 100$ you can take a boat and do fishing, snorkeling, touring the island.
- the hotel has free kayaks, paddles.
Can improve:
- the staff is very laid back. They are very nice but at the restaurant for instance, better go to the bar to order I saw people do that rather than waiting for someone to service you. Everyone seems ok with that.
Cons:
- the shower is outdoor. So washing outside trying to avoid mosquitoes is not great. One night we had a visitor, a huge spider fell on my wife while she was giving bath to our kid, it was the size of my hand. Not a great experience. But we'll this is nature. Can't fault the hotel.
- we staid at a double room the night before. And the only difference was just a few intelligent change in furniture : trash in with a lid, glass door in the restroom so natural light comes in, a bathtub that was not really useful. For these small changes the price difference is huge.
Important Note:
I learnt unfortunately that the island is infested with sand fleas. All the hotels are facing this issue. A bite is not dangerous but bothersome if you're allergic which was my case. My wife and two kids had no issue. But I was bitten on my back because there was some sand on my bedsheet and the sand fleas had a feast at night. My back itched crazy for one week. The bad thing is it seems hotels have no pharmacy. So be prepared and bring your own topical cream or cortisone cream, and antihistamine just in case. It seems I was the only one in the hotel to have this issue but googling it I found a few bloggers describing having this issue.
Note 2: there's a ferry that can bring you directly from Sihanoukville to the hotel's beach, one per day. We took the GTVC to LongSet Beach Pier, then had a taxi, 5$ per person. We did that. It was a smooth ride. The taxi was a great experience"

Amazing
GGuest UserI can't say the location is good, but the beach, sand, and accommodation are satisfactory. If you want to get off at the pier and take a tuk-tuk, you have to pay $5 per person, $10 round trip. The free canoe and paddle boat were fun, but they are very old and need to be replaced and repaired. The air conditioner was cool, but noisy. The food was generally delicious and came out quickly. The noise from the next room wasn't loud. I didn't use the pool because I liked the ocean, and the pool wasn't very deep, so it wasn't fun. It smells a little like disinfectant. The breakfast was delicious, but the menu wasn't very diverse.
The Wi-Fi was too slow or didn't work well, so I used up my data. I sent an email about pickup, but I didn't get a reply, so I don't know if they read it or not.
The staff's kindness and service were average. At lunch, I sat in the restaurant, made eye contact, and raised my hand, but they didn't give me the menu, so I had to get it myself. In the evening, I was a little annoyed that they gave the menu to the team that arrived later than me first.
The beach is beautiful, but I saw too many tourists and staff smoking and throwing cigarette butts in the ocean and sand.
Pagoda Beach is prettier than other beaches on Koh Rong Island, so many travelers from other accommodations also visit there.

GGuest UserThe hotel is lovely and the pools are clean. The staff are very friendly and really helpful. The only thing we found was our shower in our pool view room was not good. It was more like a trickle of water. Once the staff were informed they tried to rectify the issue but the same happened the following day. We don’t eat in the hotel restaurant other than breakfast as the prices were expensive compared to other places close by. This was obvious as well as the restaurant was never busy. Even when they had their BBQ in the evening. Sometimes there was no one sat there at all. But staff are friendly

GGuest UserI think Pearl Beach Resort is the best hotel in Koh Rong Sanloem. Each room is a small independent house. The surrounding environment is relatively primitive, and there will be 🦎 geckos visiting:), and the sanitation is cleaned in time. We booked a twin room, but the hotel mistakenly booked a double room, so they added a bed for us for free. The ferry from Sihanoukville can go directly to the hotel pier, which is very convenient. The beach is not big, very flat, and the hotel is exclusive. The overall feeling is comfortable. The breakfast is very rich, and lunch and dinner can only be eaten at the hotel, and the variety is relatively small.

KKel226622Love this place!! Absolutely the best hotel and beach on the island (mid price range) We took scooters and a boat around the island and we all agreed the Beach Walk beach front is the best! The pool was so nice and very clean. The FOOD WAS AMAZING! Every dish was delicious and breakfast was included with many options which was very nice! Also good vegan / vegetarian options. Staff were incredible and so friendly! They helped to arrange ferry, scooters, boat trip. The hotel also has kayaks and paddle boards that are free of charge. Hands down one of my favourite locations☀️

JJonesFantastic resort, highly recommended. The room is cosy with a comfortable bed. Wet room bathroom with shower gel and shampoo. No kettle or refrigerator in room but hot water available from the restaurant. Restaurant menu was wonderful with a BBQ option every day. Lots of people not staying at Sara opt to eat there. Pool is gorgeous with 4 cabanas with double mattresses available for guests, grab one early! Staff were really friendly and helpful. Kayaks available for free use, kayaked every day.

RRMMTucked away jn the heart of nature, this place felt like dream. Waking up to birdsong, falling asleep to the hum of the forest, and soaking in views that made my soul exhale. If you're craving peace, greenery, and a true escape - this place is it.😊🌴🛏
WWinston1979Received a very warm welcome! Helpful Staff! Helped me book my scuba diving and my ferry ticket. The room was good and cooled! I only miss a phone and because I was sick I had to go to the restaurant myself to order my food (no room service). Menu card was not set up for vegans. Also the breakfast not. I could literally only eat fruit and potatoes for breakfast.
In the end I had a nice meal after negotiating with the Staff!
I would have liked the room with sea view, which had two glass walls.
Furthermore, wonderful stay on the beach! As a solo traveler who was really there for my peace, this was a great location on Koh Rong!

WWojciech KopećHotel located in a great place right on the beach, the downside is the old houses and old rooms. The tiles in the room are falling off, additionally rusty
Containers for body wash and washing liquid, air conditioning works as it pleases, the room is also smaller than in the description, located away from the beach in a wooden building. Breakfast is very poor, generally there is nothing to eat, juice from a carton, coffee from Nalewajka, poor food and if you go for breakfast later there is nothing to eat, they add fruit by the piece, add juice by the piece just to have something. The sunbeds are of course occupied by the Januszs from early morning where towels lie and no one uses them, a massacre. Generally, if they took care of the hotel, in my opinion it has the best location on the entire island. Additionally, a nice village.

GGuest UserThe bungalows are very bare bones. There are gaps in the floorboards and wood panels of the walls. The bathroom has a small ”window” in the wall with no way to cover it for privacy. The windows in the bungalow do not lock and there is no storage locker that you can lock your valuables in so there is no security.
There are many roosters nearby that will be loud even at night and early in the morning.
The price is too high compared to the rooms with AC and no holes in the walls/floor. It should be at least the same price as the cost of a can of bug spray since they do not offer any!
Location is good and WiFi is good.
