This hotel was okay but not great value for the price we paid. We ended up shortening the time here and spending another night at a near by hostel - think this shows the level of quality. The location is amazing but as is every beach front hotel/hostel on the strip. The pool here is nice but sun loungers could use an update as are quite dirty. The room is okay and has aircon, door didn’t fully shut so the curtains covering the door is covered with mosquitos trying to get in. We had to spray the gap in the door regularly with spray to keep them out. The shower was mid warm but low pressure and hung on the wall and had to hold in hand to keep up. The service at the front desk was fine but to the lowest standard we’ve had travelling. There was no added niceties or politeness. Check in took a while (20 mins) while there was no comment on why it was taking so long. Our room wasn’t even ready in this time period so we weren’t waiting for the room. Breakfast wasn’t great and they could really do with more staff. The poor waitress was run off her feet trying to clear plates, stock food and drinks back up but there was always big gaps. People were sitting at dirty tables with no cutlery just to sit down and start eating. Not the waitresses fault as she was working very hard just needed 3/4 more people. The privacy is nice but the amenities are worse than the hostels near by.

Everything is good, except that the road conditions are terrible. I rented a motorbike and it almost drove me into a pit. It was comparable to the dirt roads in the 1980s. This hotel is suitable for people who go there and lie down directly in the hotel. They don't leave the hotel. And if you go there, Ctrip will not bring it back. I rented a motorbike at the pier. There was no signal on the green card. I found the hotel purely by feeling the map. But the environment is really good. The beach is very clean and the water is very clear. There are a lot of mosquitoes in the hotel. It's a big deal. Remember to bring mosquito repellent equipment.

The resort is ideal for families, it's very convenient because it has a private beach, pools, and it’s peaceful in the evenings. The café and restaurant are located right by the beach. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, they welcomed us at the port and arranged boat transportation. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone coming to Koh Rong!

We arrived at Royal C Beach Resort after taking the ferry to Koh Rong and found it to be a great spot to slow down for a day. The property has a laid-back island feel, and we spent most of the afternoon walking along the shoreline nearby. Our bungalow was simple, clean, and had a nice amount of space. At night, we could hear the waves from outside, which made the whole experience feel even more like an island getaway.

The facilities are clean, the view is great, the restrooms are large, and it's very quiet. It's also very close to the beach. The only downside is the road conditions; I recommend renting a motorbike for $10 per day. The only reason I gave the service a 4.5 rating is because they didn't provide free water the next day. This place is perfect for customers looking for a quiet vacation.

What I liked: The excellent, comfortable bed and pillows, pristine white linens and towels. The hotel staff contacted me in advance and helped me book ferry tickets and a car from the pier to the hotel. The hotel restaurant served quite delicious dishes. Breakfast was also very good, despite the limited selection. You can use paddleboards for free at the beach. Snorkeling from the shore was also decent; we saw two cuttlefish. The beach is a dream, with one small caveat. There were always enough sun loungers. What I disliked: The beach was littered with plastic remnants from the sandbags used to reinforce the shoreline. One evening, we ordered a bottle of Prosecco at sunset. The waiter opened it and threw the foil directly onto the sand, shocking us with such disregard for this beautiful place. Another morning, guests at the neighboring table on the beach had Coke brought to them. By lunchtime, no one had come to clear the glasses and cans. By sunset, the same cans were still lying on the sand; the glass cups, however, seemed to have been collected. There were also many disappointments with the room: everything was shoddily done, built in a hurry, the furniture was stained with paint, the rug and hat in the room were torn, and in the huge shower, there wasn't a single hook or towel holder. There's also no shower curtain, so the toilet was always wet. Half of the light switches didn't work, and the switches by the bed were swapped. When you leave the room and take the key card, the light above the entrance also turns off, making it quite an adventure to return in the dark and climb the stairs. There's a refrigerator, but it didn't work, and this was the case in two different rooms. At the entrance to the bungalow and the restaurant, there are hoses to wash sand off your feet, but none of them worked. My husband took one apart and cleaned it, and then it worked. Conclusion: With proper management and care, this place could turn into paradise. Things to be prepared for: In the evenings, there are many mosquitoes or gnats on the beach; they bite hard and itch for a long time. Repellents are essential. Within walking distance, there's only the neighboring cafe and nothing else. This could be both an advantage and a disadvantage for some.

What a beautiful location! Peaceful, quiet beach away from the main backpacker areas. The room was simple, bed was comfortable and the outside shower was refreshing. The beach bar/ restaurant had a good menu selection and the included breakfast menu was extensive. Happy hour 5-7 was a good deal. We will be back!

This hotel is an absolute paradise, where you can forget all your worries! We were met at the pier and helped with our luggage (even though the hotel is a 3-minute walk from the pier and there's a paved road). Our family room for four was a two-room suite with two double beds. The only downside is that the white, ornate furniture, upon closer inspection, is quite scuffed. Also, the shower is only separated by a partition on one side, so water splashes onto the floor from the other. Otherwise, everything in the room is great. The bedding and towels are clean, there's bottled drinking water, and you can get additional water from the fridge at reception anytime. Each room, as well as the restaurant, has foot showers. The included breakfasts are delicious, offering fried eggs, pancakes or waffles, pastries, ham, cheese, sausages, rice or noodles with vegetables, and a large selection of fruits (mango, pineapple, orange, passion fruit, papaya, dragon fruit, watermelon). Lunches and dinners from the à la carte menu at the restaurant are also very good. The restaurant always has a pleasant atmosphere, sea views, and tables right by the beach. On some evenings, there's live music and a BBQ on the beach. Nearby in the village, there are other cafes of varying standards; the local ones are cheaper and tasty too, but the decor and service suffer. In the second half of our stay, we stopped looking for variety and only ate at the hotel restaurant. The hotel beach is simply magical! Super white sand, turquoise clear water! There were always enough sun loungers. There are free paddleboards and kayaks, table tennis, and giant chess. The pool has plenty of inflatable rings, toys, and armbands for small children, which I saw people also take to the sea. There's also a cool surf club with an artificial wave. It's paid (I think $25 per hour), but we each received a card for a free hour of lessons during specific times. Our teenage son was thrilled. The restaurant has board games. The hotel also offers boat and tuk-tuk excursions. We took a private boat trip with snorkeling, fishing, BBQ, sunset viewing at sea, and glowing plankton. We didn't take the tuk-tuk as we decided there was no better beach than ours here. There's a massage parlor on the beach, with massages starting from $20 per hour, bookings at reception. We really enjoyed the massage. I heard doubts from others about this hotel due to a road running between the hotel and the beach, but it's not at all bothersome, as traffic on this road is minimal. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful with any requests. Overall, I highly recommend the hotel; it's worth the money and has everything for a wonderful and comfortable holiday.

Choosing this accommodation really made my stay in Koh Rong. Beautiful room, view, balcony with chair in the shade and a nice breeze. The bar area is also amazing, the perfect place to sit. Drinking water available. And Koh touch was a good spot too. I extended and stayed for about a week total. There are a number of nearby beach restaurants with comfortable cushioned seats on the beach where I had breakfast every morning . Only negatives: the stairs were steeper than I imagined. There are frequent power outages over the whole island

AAnonymous UserAnaya Koh Rong is situated on the island's most beautiful beach, offering breathtaking views, especially from the deluxe bungalows in the front row. However, the resort's food and drink prices are significantly higher than comparable standards in Cambodia, making the value for money questionable, except for its location. The pool was a bit murky, so we preferred the crystal-clear sea. Renting a scooter for 15 Dollars was a highlight, providing an affordable way to explore the island. Additionally, the transfer to the island and a tour to explore the bioluminescent plankton was well-organized, adding to the convenience of our stay. Despite the high prices, the location and the ease of getting there make it a noteworthy option for travelers.

SSRollaIt is a perfect place if you want to relax in a great beach. Some kind of wilderness is part of the experience. The bar and restaurant has everything you need. If you want to join more noisy places you can rent a scooter. People are friendly and most of them speak English. The bungalows are enough for two people. A nice terrace is in front of them. Everything is open to nature. The sea is perfect for swimming not for snorkeling.

GGuest UserThe water quality was really poor, with a strong disinfectant and sour smell. The pool water was even worse – my friend broke out in a rash all over after swimming. Breakfast was terrible, with very few options. The restaurant next to the hotel played loud rock music until 2:30 AM, and there were incredibly loud bird calls every night right next to the hotel, making it impossible to sleep. The shower water temperature was too low; it was practically a cold shower. I definitely won't be staying here again; the value for money is just too low.

MMartyna BorowińskaIf you are travelling on w budget, this is good solution. But do not expect luxury. The room is okay, but you don’t have any wardrobe or shelf to put clothes on. The bathroom is clean but small and with low pressure water. The owner is super nice and helpful, you can rent a motorbike. Not bad, not the best let’s say:) Fair price.

IIlya KleinThe proximity to the stunning beach is the thing of this hotel. Orher then that, it is basic and worn. Dont expect luxury service, varied breakfasts, new furniture, not stained or not torn sheets , super clean beach. Enjoy the beach, relax, dont push or demand something, take it as it is, and you will be cool :)

AAnonymous UserThe owner is very friendly and helpful. They have a very great pizza nearby. However the water is quite unclean, sometimes the water is brown. I suggest putting water filter for guest to use and that they check in the amenities at each room as well. We stayed there for 3 nights and they only provided us 2 waters. Suggest for clean availability as well. Because our room weren’t clean for the past 4 days.
