The owner goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome, always offering help and thoughtful advice. He even arranged for a local tuk-tuk driver at a very reasonable price, ensuring I had the best experience exploring the area. Every afternoon, he would check in and offer a delightful cup of tea, making the stay feel extra special. His wife’s cooking is an absolute highlight—breakfast was not just delicious but prepared with so much care, adding a homely touch to every meal. The room itself was super clean, big, and incredibly comfortable. From start to finish, they both made me feel completely at home. I can say this was the best accommodation I experienced during my time in Sri Lanka, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a truly memorable and comfortable stay."

"Recommended, the location is very good, opposite the Lion Rock, and there are many food and drink options next to the hotel. The lobby decoration is very distinctive, and the room is not big but comfortable and clean. There are not many types of breakfast, but it is a pleasure to sit in the beautiful lobby to eat. And the price matches!"

"It is difficult to evaluate because there is nothing to compare. The hotel clearly did not meet expectations, but the room and bed linen were clean, the air conditioning and wifi worked stable. "As the name suggests, it is a retreat in the jungle. There are no windows, and the trees are the natural windows. You can meet squirrels and monkeys, and you are surrounded by the sounds of many birds and insects in the morning and at night. The hotel offers a variety of activities, which can be booked. The beginning of April, when we stayed, was firefly season, and when it rained in the evening, more than a dozen fireflies surrounded our mosquito net."

"It was a wonderful stay. The room was very clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Since it was directly connected to the garden, we had to deal with the ants getting in (as is the case everywhere in Sri Lanka). The next day, they offered a shuttle to Sigiriya Rock at 5 a.m., which was extremely helpful! And it was free! After that, they suggested a safari tour, which cost 14,000 RS for two people! It was at Eco Park! After that, they told us we could swim in a local lake, so we went there and did. They also took us to a treehouse used by local farmers, where we saw lots of fireflies before we left! This was free of charge. The hotel owner is very quiet, but warm, and helped us with all the planning! His younger brother is also adorable and helpful! His cousin is the friendliest, and he's always been happy to share his knowledge of Sri Lanka! We stayed here as a group of two girls, and I found the closeness a bit concerning, so if you're concerned about close contact, you might want to think a little more about how you communicate (lol). That said, we had a lot of unique experiences here! I highly recommend this lodging!"

"It is rare to eat fresh seafood in a hotel opened by Chinese people in an inland city of Sri Lanka during the Chinese New Year. The single-family villa is very large, and an extra bed is arranged free of charge. The room and bathroom are very clean. The air conditioner and refrigerator are shipped from China, which is suitable for the usage habits of us Chinese. It takes a few minutes to get hot water, probably because it rained heavily every day when we stayed."

"We stayed for 2 nights for sightseeing in Sigiriya Rock, but it was a nice resort hotel living in a large forest. The room was a two-story cottage style and our room was on the first floor. It was noisy that the footsteps of the people on the upper floor heard the slapstick from 4 o'clock in the morning and I was worried about the smell of the drain, but the rice was delicious (breakfast did not change much) It was good to be able to eat comfortably at the restaurant in front of the pool where the refreshing breeze passes. I had dinner because there was no restaurant nearby, but I chose the first night from the a la carte menu, and the second night was a buffet with plenty of curry and desserts. On the second day, I was troubled because I couldn't use Wi-Fi on the １ day due to network failure, but it was fixed the next morning. The staff were kind and smiley. Because the hotel is remote, I asked the hotel to arrange a round trip to Sigiriya Rock and a round trip to Pidulangara, but it was said that it was 4800 ruby twice. The same driver came on both days and was a good young man, but the local guide was surprised that this price was much higher than the tuk-tuk I caught around it. Please be careful if you are using it."
