"Stayed here transiting between Tokyo and Nagoya. Made it a pit stop. While location less than ideal, hotel was fantastic and good price. My son loves the comic books available for loan while everything in the hotel was nice and new. Highly recommended for business travellers or travellers transiting."
"Near the station is about 10 minutes walk. The room is clean, quiet. All you need is a fan, slippers, teapot, refrigerator. Downstairs a 24-hour coffee machine. Breakfast is modest than in hotel photos, but enough. For one night to stay - good, but expensive."
"Trip.com was cheaper than anywhere else.
I was able to park in the parking lot because it was right after Golden Week.
The hotel is simple and there is nothing unnecessary inside, but it's not a problem. It was my first time at a Candeo Hotel. The shampoos are made in Italy and have a very nice scent. The same ones are available at the Sky Spa on the top floor.◎Photography is not allowed at the Sky Spa, but the view is great and the spa is also great.◎There are reclining chairs outside, so it's the best. The room is also neat. There was a slipper provided, so I used my own that I had beforehand. The room had a view of Mt. Fuji in the distance from the window. I had checked in advance that there were no restaurants nearby, so I went to the nearby supermarket Takoju, which was within walking distance, to buy dinner. Breakfast was at the hotel, and there were many types of side dishes, and they used seasonal vegetables, so they were all delicious.◎I ate TKG, and there were about 10 different soy sauces lined up (lol) It was fun. I really liked the concept of the Candeo Hotel. I want to try other Candeo Hotels besides Shimada."
"Very satisfied, originally to experience the steam train, the result is the most satisfying hot spring hotel for this trip, that is, the location is a little bit off. Breakfast and dinner are buffet and very delicious. There are two soups but very clean. There are free popsicles after soaking. The room is quite big. The front desk is very nice. I work hard to communicate in Chinese and send candy (gifts)."
