Lo Wu Control Point, Lo Wu Railway Station
This is my first time staying at Fraser's hotel in Shenzhen. I stayed for 3 nights and I feel there is still a lot of room for improvement. The air-conditioning in the twin room originally arranged on the 13th floor could not be lowered. The air-conditioning in the corridor was cooler than in the room. The technician and the front desk colleague came to check separately, and spent nearly an hour to find the reason. However, the hotel was fully booked that night, so we had to stay there for one night and change rooms the next day. The two male staff members at the hotel front desk, including Benedict, understood and tried their best to help. The next day we moved to another twin room on the 10th floor. The air conditioning was finally cool enough, but I don't know what part was loose at the air outlet and it kept making popping noises. I didn't expect such a new hotel to have so many problems. Fortunately, upon our request, the hotel upgraded us to a 2 bedroom suite. The room was as shown in the photos, with no complaints about the hardware and no problems with the air conditioning. But unexpectedly at 10am on Sunday morning, the office upstairs started drilling into the wall for renovations. We called the front desk to complain, but they could only call the building to complain, and they couldn't control the continued renovation upstairs. The third night was finally spent quietly and comfortably. There is a pickle ball court on the 5th floor of the hotel, but it is not open for use yet. In summary, the hotel is in a great location, and I would like to thank the hotel staff for their help. Summer is here, and I hope the problem with the air conditioning in the room can be fixed as soon as possible. I will consider staying here again if I have the chance in the future.
