Popular Shenzhen 4-star Hotels

Every month, I come from Hong Kong to stay at the Victoria View Hotel. The hotel has a large room space and is a one bedroom, one living room suite. The smallest rooms are 40-50 square meters, and there is also a laundry room and gym on the fifth floor. The second floor of the hotel is the subway station, which is not like Victoria View Hotel in Hong Kong, which is expensive and has small rooms. It is also very close to the Luohu Port, which is only 2-3 kilometers. Xiao Ling at the front desk of the hotel is also very good, with respect and conscientious dedication. This time we stayed at the same number as before and will come back next month.

In the vicinity of the hotel are many restaurants, massage parlour and supermarket. This hotel is located at a very convenient location, can walk from Luohu border to the hotel and is very close to Exit C of Renmin South Metro Station (Line 9).In the vicinity of the hotel are many restaurants, massage parlours and supermarket. There is one weakness of this hotel, the hotel is a bit old, and does not have a comprehensive security system in the lifts, that means anyone (who is not a hotel guest has access to all floors and rooms of the hotel) this could be risky for the hotel guests. In the past, I have stayed in this hotel. I noticed that the hotel had been renovated, the lobby and hotel rooms are much brighter than in the past. This hotel has a pool and gym, but I had not used it, therefore, I would not comment on it.

Our first choice’Regular Room’ was very cold with a small heater inside of it. We tried to get the second one but the duty officer was playing dumb and showing us the second layer of blankets 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️😂😂😂 haha! Then, the lady manager came and very kindly offered us an alternate room in wooden house with a big heater inside. She was very nice and offered a hot coffee to warm up. The stay for kids was amazing. So many attractions are in the park beside. This compensates the old design and furniture of the hotel.

Excellent hotel. Be it service, staff or location, it is excellent. My extra bed was placed at the living hall and we have requested to move into the room next to the queen bed. The housekeeper tried and managed to squeeze in for us. The staff at counter will greet with smile. The breakfast is nice and varieties changed everyday. Many eateries and shopping malls.The location is next to many wholesale buildings mainly for clothings. The Laojie streets is so happening every night with live streamers performance. Train is just next to the hotel, 2 stops from Louhu station. Highly recommended. If I go SZ again, I will definitely choose this hotel.

QVilla Hajana on Nan’so beach is one of my favorite spots in the city. The hotel staff are friendly and service-oriented and the rooms are simple but clean. There is a very good Western-style restaurant with beautiful sea views, as well as a more affordable BBQ spot in the main plaza. The beach is top notch - clean, relaxing, and uncrowded. A true gem if you’re looking for a short getaway from the city!

We booked Holdfound based on the pictures provided of the beautiful brown brick beachfront houses for a 2 day stay out of the city. It’s the nicest hotel in the area so we used that to justify the price. However, when we arrived, reception was not very forthcoming and quite cold and were surprised to learn that we were not staying in one of the apartments in the villa but rather a hostel-like grey building. The room was very small - just enough to fit the bed - and the white bedding had some stains on it for the second day after they changed it. The room was strongly bleached as we came back after a day out the second day to find the floors still damp and a strong disinfectant smell that had been mopped through. The balcony was small as well but the views were good from the third floor. We were disappointed as the rooms look significantly bigger in the photos advertised on Trip and they don’t make it significantly clear that you would have to book a villa for one of the apartments in the brown building. More importantly, the restaurant attached below the hotel is very expensive compared to what you can get about 100 paces down the street, which offers the same seafood for a much lower price. We understand that the hotel has capitalized on an area that does not have very much accommodation around, and though they include a beach pass for your stay, the high price for what is a glorified hostel with thin walls and doors and tiny spaces still seems excessive.

Love the location and convenience of having a bath and shower combo in the room. The beds are super comfortable and the check in process is hassle free. I love the fact rooms have a coffee machine included and a mini bar fridge. Love staying here. Will be back again soon.

The location of the hotel is good, just opposite to Dameisha Holiday Park, and you can go to the beach in ten minutes' walk. Special praise to Xiaoyan at the front desk by name. She continued to stay in the ordinary double bed room booked for the second night, and was upgraded to a sea view room for free. The service in all aspects is very good. There is also a buffet breakfast for two and a laundry room. have a good time!

Absolutely Fabulous Hotel! From check-in to check-out greeted with impeccable service. Reception staff are completely bilingual with high quality English level. Was further impressed by the help offered to me when I checked out from a lady at reception in regards to speaking to my taxi driver and arranging with security to help me. She was lovely! So too was the Ayi who welcomed me on check in with a fruit plate and brought up requested cutlery. I’m sorry I did not get their names. The hotel is conveniently located right outside Shuiwan subway line 2 as well as a short 10 minute walk to Sea World which was visible from my room. Sea World is very convenient for food and late night entertainment. Most impressively in the premier suite was not only the size of the suite but the washing machine with dryer which was convenient and silent so possible to do late night laundry. Full cooking utensils are available on request. Management is available on WeChat and answers all questions very quickly and considerately. The room was cleaned daily and towels replaced. Ayi’s cleaned well and generally was very satisfied with experience. In fact, I’d definitely book this hotel again as it’s certainly a 5 star experience. Thank you for the lovely stay.

Too expensive for what you get, pool was closed too. Definitely stay in a cheaper hotel if you ever want to visit Shekou. Rooms too dark and depressing, trying to be cool but it’s just hard to see.
