My family had an amazing time! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beautiful surroundings and the traditional decor. The courtyard house was very clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. But most importantly, lady host was very helpful, warm and made us feel so welcome! Water pressure is strong and the beds are very comfortable. Pictures didnt do justice to the real deal... simply stunning! The outdoor area was a highlight, peaceful surroundings, beautiful mini gardens and cool area even when you sit in the living room where we could relax and enjoy the nature. The host was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed, which made our stay even more enjoyable.The location was perfect, offering a peaceful retreat while still being close to local attractions and amenities. We had a lot of fun exploring the area, but it will always be a treat to come back to such a lovely place. Overall, this ancient courtyard house exceeded our expectations and provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable getaway with family and friends. We can't wait to return. Thank you for having us. Excellent location, the hotel is within the Dapeng Ancient City, Many cafe and restaurant inside the the fortress as well that you can enjoy. The room is clean with own bathroom. Host is hospitable.

If you are planning to visit the Dapeng Fortress this hotel is a MUST stay place... The hotel is in a well preserved traditional courtyard house on the quite west end of the Fortress... A wonderful relaxing garden oasis cafe next door with great tea to drink and High speed Internet.. Most importantly is the family that runs the hotel is the most welcoming and has the best customer service that I have experienced in my 23 years in China..

I stay here every time I come to Dapeng, one of my favorite parts of visiting the fortress

She charges the least in the area, but most of the time the house is just empty. Often I was the only guest and she also went back to sleep in her own home. Last time I stayed there she brought some "long term" customers to stay there. They were going in and out of the kitchen and sitting in the little cafe outside eating fruit, which was beside my room and drinking until over 3am. I was the only other guest and a woman, but I had to go out of the room at 3 and asked them what was going on. That's when they knew there was another guest there. She obviously didn't tell them and next day acted like it was nothing. I would not suggest this guest house as the guesthouse manager does not care about people's sleep and obviously doesn't care about rating. The day before she was playing music loudly in the cafe the whole day and she watches her C-drama on loud the whole day as well. She tells people to go out in the scorching heat to the beach so she can sit alone and enjoy her dramas. Basically there is not enough room for people to stay in this small house without having to stay out most of the time if they didn't want to.

This place was fantastic ! It was clean, great location in the old town and very quiet ! It's not close the Shenzhen city but if you want to visit coastal areas of Shenzhen and have a more relaxed time, Dapeng is the best place to be ! I only planned to stay here for 2 days then ended up extending 5 days, I like the atmosphere, classical cozy Chinese home with great tea. The host is great and is truly passionate about the place + Chinese traditional culture.

Beautiful guesthouse in the ancient city. Shared bathrooms were spotless. Room stayed really cool so didn't need to use the air conditioner too much.

The location of the hotel was wonderful! It was a great to walk around or sit in the garden enjoying the atmosphere. The room was cute and small. The towels are not provided....so make sure you pack one with you, it wasn't a problem for me, I went out and bought some. The service was nice and accommodating. I eould definitely book again!

This B&B is worth the experience. Next time I will stay in the east or west wing. In addition, the B&B has a unique small garden where you can drink afternoon tea, bask in the sun, take a nap, and feel so comfortable that you roll your eyes. You can also order food, and the proprietress cooks it herself (the iron pot chicken is delicious). The smell is so good that it attracts cats (Mimi)

The house is quite old, with flowers and green plants in the yard, and the facilities are also complete. It is the first time I have stayed in such a B&B. The service is very thoughtful, the boss is very enthusiastic, and I feel very satisfied.

The landlord was a very nice person. He picked us up from the restaurant and took us to the study room. Although the accommodation was an old house, it was elegantly decorated and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable. Both floors were full of warmth and human touch. It is worth recommending.

The location is very good, on the busy cross street, walk in from the alley next to Luckin Coffee, authentic ancient buildings, it is recommended that tourists who come to the ancient city can stay here

The old house in the late Qing Dynasty is very warmly decorated. I like it very much. The boss also has a cute little cat🐈 The child is 2 months old hahaha 😝 I played with it for a long time and the breakfast is delicious 😋
