We occasionally stay overnight in Sheffield as we have family nearby. We’re delighted have found The Psalter, it is an excellent hotel, we booked direct for a really good rate, we had the king sized room which was spacious, super clean, very comfortable bed, excellent shower and good quality bed linen and towels., parking is also available. The staff are all so friendly and helpful, it’s clearly very well managed. We enjoyed an excellent cocktail (half price between 5 & 6pm!) before we headed out. We also had a delicious breakfast the next morning. We have often stayed at Brocco on The Park which is good but it has become prohibitively expensive, I would highly recommend booking The Psalter it is excellent value for money and a very good quality hotel. Thank you to all the staff, especially the lady who called us to let us know they found our new electric toothbrush in the room!

Just returned from my third visit to the Psalter and I can't praise it enough. The staff are friendly and very helpful, the food superb, and the rooms very comfortable. The breakfasts are even better than they were last time; this time my sisters and I had lunch - every bit as good as the breakfasts, and a good variety of dishes.
