The Mixc/Longyan South Road Food Street
Hotel is extremely near Mixc Mall and Suning Plaza. Many shops and food stalls downstairs. A short walk away (5min?) is the famous food street. Many choices at the breakfast buffet, i especially love the douhua with many toppings (self select). Room size is good enough, and it's clean and modern. Love the self service laundry and the Aunty who helps out. Staff is polite. Dad is very tickled by the robot who sends things when it takes the lift. However I saw only one lift. I'm wondering how busy it'll be should there be a peak period. I was surprised when I checked out at 11.40am, there was no rush and no wait for the lift. Overall a satisfying experience.

The Mixc/Longyan South Road Food Street
The room rates in Chaoshan area during the Spring Festival are a bit outrageous. In comparison, the price of Atour is quite good. So I had the opportunity to experience Atour for the first time. The hotel service exceeded my expectations. There were staff to help in the laundry area and they would deliver it to the room. The hotel breakfast was also good with many varieties. The layout and configuration of the room were also ok, and the scenery was also good. The only shortcoming was that the business building of the hotel was a bit old. You had to take a public elevator to get up from the underground garage. There would be other people from the chess and card game downstairs entering. They would smoke in the elevator and so on. The experience was not very good. The hotel itself was OK
