Hotels near Nirucun in Shangri-La

the best service, the kindest host and a very beautifully clean apartment. the hosts had a lot of recommendations for us and were very kind. note: u must call them to pick u from the main entrance inside because it’s very rocky! i must say that I didn’t really look up at the sky with the window though haha

stayed one night, the room is very clean, has everything you need. walkable distance to ancient city, electric blankets and ac work good. loved the design as well

Fantastic modern minimalist room design but equipped with luxurious feel necessities. The Homestay is manage by a wonderful couple who willing to provides assistance to customers request about the amenities. Very clean and comfort since is nearly open in 2023, beside it located inside the Dukezong ancient town . Thank you for the wonderful stay and suggestion during my 3D2N stay with snowing happening early morning !!!! May both of them have great business and sure will return one day here

This suite is the most comfortable suite I have ever stayed in a B&B, including the most comfortable suite in a hotel. The room facilities are very complete. The bathtub is also very comfortable. There are many clothes for the children to play with. The bathroom is also equipped with a washing machine. It is really considerate and clean in terms of hygiene. The hotel staff are also very attentive. Tremella soup and hot milk are delivered to the room. The hotel is also very close to the prayer wheel, which is very convenient for travel!

The place is easy to find and the boss is also very nice. The room is very hot with floor heating and a humidifier. There is also oxygen equipment with high reflectivity that can be sucked. The room is clean and tidy. Breakfast includes porridge, bread, omelette and steamed dumplings.

Hotel Indigo has a spectacular bird eye view of the Shangrila town, the room has the view of the temple in the Dukezong Ancient Town. The hotel is very new and the staffs are super friendly, especially Cyrus Pan who did helped me a lot of some miscellaneous things though the stay just only 1 night. Room is clean and spacious. The restaurant served amazing food with much comfortable environment than restaurant in the ancient town. I can say a hotel must stay in Shangrila and definitely I would return if visit to Shangrila again.

A very satisfying stay experience~ The service is meticulous and thoughtful. The store directly opens a WeChat group chat and responds promptly to any questions. It also provides services such as pick-up and drop-off, travel guide suggestions, etc. It is really convenient for out-of-town tourists. The transportation location is convenient, just near the east gate of Dukezong Ancient City. It is very convenient to walk and take a taxi. The room facilities are complete. It is still very cold in Shangri-La in December, but the room has floor heating and a fireplace, which is very friendly to people who are afraid of the cold. There is also a smart home

Very right choice. Provide the order at the visitor center and follow the bus to the hotel, and then the hotel butler will communicate with you about the itinerary, etc., which is very considerate. The hotel includes tickets, transportation fees, and a rafting fee, and then the hotel will provide a car to take you to the scenic spots or buses, which is very considerate and makes the whole day trip more comfortable. Awesome. The point is, I saw monkeys in the morning🐒

I have stayed in many hotels in Shangrila old town over the past 12 years so have a little experience. Location: Close to the top dancing square but at the top of a very steep hill. It had rained so the stone street was VERY slippery. It is close to impossible to walk up the hill with suitcase. There is a 1/2 meter wide ***** of carpet that was laid down on the right side of the road going up the hill. It gave great traction, but unfortunately some non-thinking person had parked their electric cart directly on top of the carpet so you could not navigate it. I arrived at 6 PM and that electric cart was still sitting on the carpet in the same place the next morning at 9 AM. Trying to walk around the electric cart , but I did slip and fell to the ground. I would not come back to this hotel again, if there was any potential for any rain. The picture is of the morning after the rain had dried. When I booked my room, they did tell me that there was only one room remaining and it was for four people. I was solo but I booked it anyway. Unfortunately, I did not understand that there are four beds that are actually side-by-side touching each other. They are very very thin pads laid on top of a wooden platform. No way to get into or out of any bed without crawling back to the foot of the bed and going over the edge that way. It was the hardest sleeping service I have ever been on and got very little sleep. If I had my sleeping bag and camping mattress, I would’ve just slept on the floor. Won’t be back here again. The service people at the hotel were very nice. Offered to carry my bag up to my room on the third floor and the woman who provided the breakfast in the morning was very pleasant. Have no complain about the service just the beds in the access to the hotel. If it’s raining, make it a no go for me 

Our stay at Ganlo Inn (甘露客栈) was nothing short of amazing. Location was fantastic, conveniently located within Dukezong Ancient City and a 5-min walk to Yueguang Plaza (月光广场) where you can easily call for your Didi transport. Run by a Chinese family, everyone was hospitable and constantly checked in on us to ensure that we were well-taken care of. Any questions were responded to in a timely manner via WeChat. They even linked us up with a local tour agency that helped us with our day-trip to Balagezong. Daily breakfast was simple and no-frills but tasted delicious and homely. On the day that we had to leave earlier to catch our bus, they went over and above and gave us sandwiches to-go. Visiting Shangri-la during the low Winter season, we were concerned about the cold temperature. Our worries were unfounded because both the room and floors were well-heated, ensuring that we returned to a warm and cosy room every night. Warm water was consistent which was definitely a plus. The room was also equipped with intelligent facilities that made the stay great: Heated automatic toilet and shower cubicle. The provision of the humidifier and oxygen concentrator also helped us to acclimatise quickly to the high altitude. Will definitely recommend Ganlo Inn to my friends who intend to visit Shangri-la.
