It is what a good hotel should be like. The room is clean and the bedding is impeccable. The water temperature is suitable and they thoughtfully inform you that bathing in plateau areas should not take more than 10 minutes. The front desk staff are also very nice. The breakfast at Shangri-La is also rich and delicious. The key point is that you can tell from the name that the room can supply oxygen (you need to contact the front desk for oxygen supply service). You can go hiking at night without worry. You don’t have to worry about high reflexes. Anyway, you can breathe oxygen while lying on your own bed, so you have peace of mind😼

I stayed in the suite at this hotel. It was a great and very comfortable stay. Everything about the suite was elegant and built for comfort. The hotel has a restaurant that makes delicious Yunnan inspired dishes. The yak stew and the potato dishes were especially good. The staff was nice and friendly although language presented a barrier. (Thankfully there are translation apps.). The pool was a little weird though. It's presented more like a pond in the middle of the hotel rooms. There seems to be only one access point to the pool and there is zero seating. Its rimmed by plants and trees. Very strange. But thats the only criticism of the hotel. Everything else meets and exceeds expectations of a hotel. And its within walking distance of the old town.

location is great for the town and Nappa Hai Lake which was awesome.A beautiful hotel full of culture. Beds are the comfiest in the world! Carol on reception was superb and help us out of a very stressful situation when the airport was closed because of snow. We were exceptionally grateful for her excellent english skills. Mark the waiter/ noodle chef was also extremely helpful. He spoke no English but was very patient with my Chinese. Many staff were off sick with covid as it was a few days after restrictions were lifted when we visited. Still everyone was working twice as hard to cover their colleagues. This lead to one of our rooms not being cleaned one day. Not the end of the world. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Hotel Indigo has a spectacular bird eye view of the Shangrila town, the room has the view of the temple in the Dukezong Ancient Town. The hotel is very new and the staffs are super friendly, especially Cyrus Pan who did helped me a lot of some miscellaneous things though the stay just only 1 night. Room is clean and spacious. The restaurant served amazing food with much comfortable environment than restaurant in the ancient town. I can say a hotel must stay in Shangrila and definitely I would return if visit to Shangrila again.

The coffee beans and coffee machine are very good, but the camp owner's coffee making skills are better when the coffee shop manager is around. 【shortcoming】 1⃣️Boss, have you noticed that the screen windows of some tents are broken❗️P6❗️There are two screen windows in a tent and they are like this❗️ 2⃣️Although the tent has a separate bathroom, the bathroom door does not open inside the tent, which means that you need to go outside to go to the bathroom. It will be cold in winter and there will be insects in summer. 3⃣️Each tent has such a good terrace, but the tent is not equipped with any tea bags and coffee❓❓❓The restaurant in the camp only has tea. If you need to drink coffee, you can only go to the coffee shop. This is probably a bug.

The room is nice, Tibetan style, with complete equipment. Ms. Lazheng at the front desk helped me upgrade the suite. You can see the Dafo Temple from the front window, and the ancient city dwellings from the back window. The view is quite good. Stayed for one more night, and it rained on the second night. It was very comfortable to open the window to listen to the sound of rain at night. I was traveling alone, and La Zheng and Uncle Dawa were very friendly and enthusiastic throughout the whole process, picking up and dropping off the trip, recommending restaurants and attractions, and helping to avoid pits and lightning. The whole experience is very comfortable. I originally planned to change the hotel experience after staying for one day. It was so comfortable to stay for another night. Next time I have a chance to come to Shangri-La, I will consider staying here again. recommend!

The room is a Tibetan-style hotel group. The Lightyear Hotel, Tiankui Hotel and Ziwei Hotel under the Fifth Meteorite are all together. We stayed on the third floor of the Lightyear Hotel, and the Meteorite Restaurant is on the next floor, which is very convenient. The facilities are considered to be five-star. The conditions in the plateau area may be difficult, and the breakfast varieties are relatively ordinary, but the service is normal. After check-in, an afternoon tea set is given as a gift. It is characterized by diffuse oxygen supply, which can relieve high reflexes. The location is pretty good. It takes five minutes from the front door to reach the north gate of Dukezong Ancient City. It is off-season and there are not many people. Those who want to buy souvenirs can bargain carefully. A woolen scarf priced at 45 yuan is of good quality.

I cannot say enough positive things about this hotel. From the greeting upon arrival, to the special attention paid to the guests and the amazing rooms, I would come back here any time I am in the area. Ama and the rest of the staff could not have been nicer or more helpful to us. We were made to feel like we belonged here. The food served for dinner and breakfast was amazing.

Let me talk about two bad things first: 1. On New Year's Eve, there was no hot water after the children took a bath. I called the front desk and was told to wait for 30 minutes. It turned out that it was almost an hour later and there was still no hot water. I called the front desk again and told them to go to the next room to take a bath. However, the water could not be discharged. Again I called the front desk and took a shower downstairs. It was almost 2 o'clock when I was lying in bed. Since the stairs are all outdoors, my family members all got cold and cold. I reported it to the manager on duty the next morning and the matter was resolved satisfactorily. I was happy to extend my stay for two more nights. 2. After breakfast the next day, I returned to the room, but the room card could not be swiped. I had no choice but to call the front desk. The girl at the front desk made a new card and brought it over, but it still could not be opened. I initially judged that the lock was broken, so I returned to the front desk again and called the master to repair the lock. Later I found out that the lock was out of power. At this time, we had been standing in the cold wind for more than 20 minutes. We complained to the front desk again. After asking the manager, the front desk responded: ”This is normal.” Other than that, I am quite satisfied with this place: the room is warm, the view is nice, and the staff are mostly enthusiastic; the breakfast is small but good, at least our family is quite satisfied; it is suitable for families who drive by themselves, because it takes 20 to get in from Huanhu Road minutes~ Friendly reminder: When walking in the hotel, be sure to keep an eye on the road.
