If you are reading this, straightaway make your booking. You will not regret it because this is the best accommodation in Balagezong.
1. Superb location. The same building with the entrance to the national park. The lobby is beside the counter tix. Yes u get free tix to the park. Just add 60Y for the shuttle tourist bus to go around the park.
2. The room and bathroom are very spacious and clean. Very comfortable bed. We have a very deep sleep after touring around in the day.
3. The host is really kind n helpful. He will assist you on everything and u will feel at home away

Stayed 2N as it's at entrance of Balagezong scenic area. Room is dated but appreciated the hot water shower, heated mattress, heater and comfortable beddings.. TV in the room is broken. It's non peak period and my request for river view room was turned down. On the floor I was staying, they had many empty rooms facing the river but most were left unkept and the doors were left opened. Think they have limited housekeeping staff. There was intermittent power outage during my stay and my electronic door lock wasn't working properly. I need the hotel staff to open my door.

The only good things we can say about this hotel are that it is conveniently located immediately adjacent to the scenic spot entrance and that the room had a pleasant view of the canyon.
Unfortunately we were disappointed with the other aspects of our stay. The room and other hotel facilities were clearly in need of maintenance, despite being relatively new. The room was not very clean, the bathroom mirror was filthy, and various furnishings were in need of repair.
The hotel staff were disinterested and unhelpful.
We regretted staying at this hotel and recommended that prospective visitors consider staying elsewhere at Balagezong or, better still, returning to Shangri-La rather than staying in the area.

The hotel is at the gate of the scenic area. The rooms are clean, sanitary, quiet, and there is a parking lot for easy parking. There is breakfast, but it is in an outside hotel, a few hundred meters away from the hotel, which is a bit inconvenient.

The elevator looks like an industrial elevator, which is extremely simple. For such a high room price, the kettle leaks when pouring water, and there is not even toilet paper in the room. There is only one restaurant next to it, and a bowl of rice with toppings costs 38 yuan, which is too black.

The room is nice, right inside the Grand Canyon. The hotel front desk is very enthusiastic and bought internal tickets for me. All the staff are local Tibetans, which is good. Very satisfied
