Great location, right next to the old city . Very friendly hosts.

We were only in this hotel for one night, but we had a comfortable stay. The hotel workers were incredibly kind and offered to upgrade our room free of charge since they had availability! Our rooms had heated floors and this provided much comfort during the cold winter. The rooms were clean and everything looked new. We were staying at a different hotel in Shangri-La, and had three large luggages, so we contacted the hotel and asked for help with moving our luggage to this hotel. A hotel worker met us at our previous hotel and helped bring us to this hotel. Upon arrival, we were greeted with tea and snacks. There are some steep stairs in the hotel, but the workers helped bring our luggage to our rooms. The workers were very helpful when we had questions.

Great hospitality by the host. They went all out to make their guest feel at home. Had tea with them every time we returned to their place. They helped us booked the tour to balagazone and even brought us to the meeting place.

When enter the room, the kettle water was not pour out. The hotel is using thin disposable towel instead of the normal hotel towel. But, they will give when you request. The floor heating and heater warm up after 3-4 hours running time. It’s still super cold in the - 2 degree environment.

Excellent guesthouse on the outside of Dekezong Old Town conveniently located a very short walk to the main square, restaurants, bars, and shops. The rooms are immaculately decorated with a number of high end features from the bedroom furniture, bathroom fixtures, and toiletries. The bed is like sleeping on a cloud, very western, but your typical hard Chinese bed. I've stayed in many hotels in Shangri-la and this is the best, by far.

Great little hotel with beautiful decor and kind management. Just stopped here in the middle of a hiking trip to see the monastery and explore a little.

As night falls, the stars are shining. After passing through alleys, I arrived at a quieter alley and entered a hotel. The first thing that caught my eye was a small tea table. The owner warmly invited me to have a cup of tea. There was also a small coffee table next to it. The fragrant coffee surrounded the entire hall. Going further in, there was an open-air courtyard with countless small goldfish swimming in the pond and a few green plants. It was really elegant. The next day at noon, I went to the seasonal restaurant next door for lunch. The service attitude was really amazing, and the food was also delicious. When I was about to check out in the afternoon, the boss said, don't worry, you can go to the courtyard for afternoon tea. The boss is really enthusiastic.

Although the temperature difference in Shangri-La is relatively large, this is really an inn with warmth. The shopkeeper is very enthusiastic. Knowing that we like to drink coffee, he specially made us a few cups of super delicious freshly ground coffee, and it was even latte art. It made me feel good just looking at it. It was even better than the coffee in the ancient city. The fruits on the tea table were also freshly bought, and we ate a lot of them without hesitation, hahahaha. As we chatted, we found out that the shopkeeper is also a coffee lover. What a coincidence. The room is clean and hygienic, and the toiletries set inside is also brand-level, and it is very safe to use. It was a very satisfactory stay experience. If I come to Shangri-La next time, I will choose this inn again, and I want to continue to drink this coffee, hehe. I wish the shopkeeper a prosperous business and full rooms every day☺️☺️

I was very satisfied with my stay this time. The inn not only has a beautiful environment and unique features, but the boss is also very nice. He picked us up at the high-speed rail station on the day of check-in. The room type we booked on the day of check-in was sold out, so he upgraded our room for free. When we arrived at the hotel at around 10 o'clock, the boss knew that we hadn't had breakfast yet, so he prepared breakfast for us from the kitchen. He also enthusiastically introduced us to nearby attractions, which was really nice. The hotel's soundproofing is also very good, very quiet and comfortable. It is very close to the high-speed rail station and in Dukezong Ancient Town, so it is very convenient to go shopping and eat. I highly recommend his hotel.

The location is easy to find, the boss is very welcoming, the accommodation is clean, and the best thing is that the bath towels and face towels are disposable, which is great! The boss also bought fresh fruits to share!

The light luxury inn in Dukezong Ancient Town, Shangri-La, is not expensive, and the facilities and supplies in the room are very high-end. It can be seen that it is run with care. The owner's family is very kind and there is a lovely little girl

The facilities are complete and new, with floor heating, exquisite furniture, good sound insulation and strong privacy. Highly recommended!

Hua Jinzhao is probably the best homestay in the ancient city, with a good location, spacious and tasteful rooms, and a very enthusiastic boss. It will be my best choice next time!

Arrived at Dukezong Ancient Town, stayed at Huajinzhao Inn in the ancient town, it was really nice. The inn has a beautiful and comfortable environment, the owner is warm and hospitable, and it feels like home. The family room is very cozy, just right for me to live alone. This inn is really great. I visited the night view of the ancient town at night, it is very beautiful.
