You can also use the north gate (Bei Men) to enter and maybe much easier to find. Follow gravel road and at 1st turn right, then turn left and after that turn right. You will reach in about 40 mtrs when you see a small stone stairs leading up to entrance Wu Chen Inn. Owner is sometimes at the back kitchen and not at the front desk. Its same like most inns that i come across. Waited an hour plus just to check in. Elsewise all good. There is a large heater that works up to 29 degrees max. Thick blankets helped during cold. Water heats up in seconds. Not bad for short stay.

Great place to stay in. The owners were especially warm and welcoming, the room is comfortable and has everything you might need during winter, and the location is very convenient. 很不错，老板非常热情、房间好舒服、地点好方便。

This place is run by the kindest, friendliest people we have met. The facilities were great and new but the people were the highlight. We ate with them, drank tea with them, learnt so much from them. They helped us with whatever we needed without charge.

The staff gave consciously gave us a room with a broken door lock and did not even inform us. When we realized that we can’t lock the door and asked the employee about it he got really defensive and started to quarrel with us :) also, the rooms are all facing the courtyard which makes it impossible to sleep when someone is there. On our first and last night there were people there until midnight. On the good part the location is good and the other employee was more considerate and made sure we have all the necessities.
