The hotel was beautiful in an excellent location in ShangriLa. The rooms were well appointed and had good heating. Breakfast was good, but note there is only one option available. Unfortunately, perhaps, because it was during the off season, it felt like we were staying in a closed hotel. The hotel had a beautiful bar with nobody working, a nice outdoor area with heat lamps that were never on, and the staff, while friendly, seemed a bit unprepared and surprised at our arrival. We requested help cleaning our laundry and ended up paying an extremely high 288 CNY after being quoted 100 CNY which felt dishonest. All of these problems would have been ok if we paid half of the $160 a night we paid, but at that price point in Yunnan, our expectations for service were high. Perhaps other guests will have better experiences when the property is properly staffed during the main season.

This is an amazing hotel in a fabulous location. The manager and staff make sure that all guests are comfortable and taken care of, and everyone went out of their way to help us make our way around the town. The rooms are very comfortable, and the ambiance of the whole place is authentic to the area.

Excellent service, the owner is super friendly and helpful, always trying to assist with guests need and his English is very good so easy to communicate . The location is also very convenient. The hotel has extraordinary common areas, their design is really unique. The rooms are decorated in a traditional Tibetan style. Also the breakfast is very good, various choice of vegetables and fruits together with traditional rice noodles and cakes.

We came from Dali, so we wore very little and it was very cold. Although the hotel did not have air conditioning, the waiter brought us a heater. The floor heating was a bit slow to heat up, but the service was excellent and very considerate. They prepared facial masks, sunscreen, glasses, and breakfast was delivered to the room. It was also very rich. When we left, they also gave us peace and blessings. It is worth checking in.

I have never seen such a speechless hotel. They only provided shower gel and conditioner, but no shampoo. I thought the cleaning staff just missed it. You can also use shower gel to wash your hair. I didn’t expect that there was only one toothbrush and two combs? I contacted the housekeeper but didn't get a reply. I called the front desk phone number but no one answered. I called the mobile phone number and hung up immediately. That's awesome. I thought there was no one at the front desk, so I had to order takeout, but when the takeout arrived, I went to the front desk and found that there was someone there? ? ? I asked the front desk person to get a toothbrush but they said they couldn't find it... I really have nothing to say about this service. Even when I got up the next day, the housekeeper still didn't reply a word. What about the 24 hours promised? If you can't do it within 24 hours, you can get the details right. I don’t trust Ctrip ranked hotels anymore! The leek was cut off properly, and none of the 4 special items were provided! It was not cleaned before check-in (see attached photo) and the breakfast was pretty bad.

The check-in experience is very good ~ The hotel has a great location, convenient transportation and good service attitude, especially the store manager Tashi Keyu Ketian, the girl at the front desk is gentle and cute, the landlady is beautiful and generous, the room is clean and tidy, and very quiet, highly recommended ~

The hotel is rich in Tibetan cultural characteristics. The hotel decoration is stunning, the service attitude is very satisfactory, and the room is warm and comfortable in the cold winter. Just outside the door is the ancient city of Dukezong, and 200 meters away is the largest prayer tower in the world.

All the staff are so warm and considerate. The courtyard and rooms are very beautiful. It has a sense of history and story. Moreover, the hotel has travel photography, which is very convenient. I took the most satisfying photos this year. I am really happy. It’s a wonderful stay experience

The hotel is full of Tibetan culture and very unique accommodation The store manager and clerks are all young people who are easy-going and talkative. I had a severe fever on the night I checked in, and the two girls tried their best to help. They also extended the check-out time so that I could have more rest. A Tibetan-style hotel with a large public area, especially suitable for concave shapes! Due to a power outage, I didn't check in until 9pm. I left early the next morning and didn't get to experience the Tibetan afternoon tea included in the package. It was a pity!

There is no hot water, no air conditioning, and the heating only reaches 14 degrees from 2 o'clock until check-out the next morning. You can't take a shower, and the water for washing your face is ice cold. When I asked, the hotel actually uses solar energy! ? The bathroom was not cleaned and it was visibly unclean. The room rate of 660 per night in the off-season is considered the most expensive B&B in the ancient city. The Hilton next door costs 350 and has 4-star facilities, right? The pictures are not from inside the hotel at all. The Songtsam I stayed at on the first night was 100% perfect in every aspect. If it weren’t for the really good service from a few Tibetan girls who wanted to check out 10 minutes after checking in, there would be no facilities like this. Breakfast, the price/performance ratio is seriously inconsistent!

The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was comfortable. The environment is simply a Tibetan culture museum. I feel like I have experienced the accommodation of Tibetan serf owners. The floor heating in the room is sufficient and the hot water is very good. However, the heat of the electric blanket is difficult to control and it is too hot and dry at night. The location is excellent, right at the entrance of Dukezong Ancient City, with KFC, pizza, various restaurants and supermarkets nearby.
