Holiday Inn Express Shangri-la

Very disappointed. After all, it is an InterContinental hotel. The air conditioner can only blow hot air. It was so hot in the middle of the night that I couldn't sleep well. The refrigerator is just a decoration. The plastic band tied to the power cord at the back has not been removed. The carpet is also very dirty. There is a layer of dirt in the elevator, as if it has never been cleaned. The most important thing is that I doubt whether this smart toilet is connected to recycled water. After flushing my butt with it, I have been having diarrhea for the past two days.

The hotel is very new and clean. The staff are friendly and proactive in helping solve problems. The rooms are clean and equipped with oxygen supply, humidifier, heating and air conditioning. Overall very comfortable.

The hotel is not far from the ancient city of Dukezong. It is very convenient for travel. The front desk service is very warm and thoughtful, and the accommodation environment is also very nice. It is really a good stay experience!

After 20 years, I returned to Shangri-La. The scenery is still beautiful, but the city has changed dramatically. As a newly opened hotel, all the facilities and conditions of Holiday Inn Express are online, so you can choose to stay blindly. The room is very comfortable, with clean bedding, a shower with sufficient water pressure, a dry and wet separated bathroom, a quiet corridor, and a beautiful city or mountain view outside the window, which is enough to relieve my stress. After returning to Shangri-La from Meili, I still chose to stay at Holiday Inn Express again.

I don't recommend staying here. Very bad experience. Reasons: 1. A pungent smell of decoration came out when I opened the door. My mouth and nose were stinging and my throat hurt after breathing for half an hour. 2. The so-called city view is facing the light box across the street. The curtains don't block the light, so I can't sleep at all. I want to close the window, but the air conditioner has no ventilation function. I can only choose to sleep while looking at the light box or get poisoned. 3. False propaganda, it says there is air conditioning, but it turns out to be a central air conditioner, a decoration that can't adjust the temperature. In June, it only gives hot air, no matter what mode is adjusted, there is only hot air. Many hotels in this city don't have air conditioning. I believe many people choose here for air conditioning, but I tell you that the hot air here in June is no different from those hotels with only floor heating. It's even worse than those, because those hotels with open windows are not so bright that they can't sleep. 4. The service staff is very unprofessional, unable to communicate normally, and unable to solve problems.
