Good location. It is three metro stops from the centre and has the Damuqiao Road stop right outside the hotel. Clean and affordable. A quiet neighbourhood that is a pleasure to arrive at night. There are several Chinese places to eat or dine and several Lawson establishments (like Seven Eleven) on the same street as the hotel. The room is small and has no window, so it cannot be ventilated and the humidity is noticeable. It is for sleeping. Otherwise, it is fine. Correct treatment.

The accommodation experience was very good. The room was clean and tidy with good sound insulation. What was more surprising was that there was a smart toilet and Xiaodu hotel assistant. Voice helped to set the alarm, close the curtains, turn on the air conditioner and TV, and turn off the lights. The experience was very good. The key price was very suitable, the double bed was less than 300 yuan, and it was very close to the subway entrance! It was a few hundred meters walk from the Shanghai Public Security Museum, which was good! I was in a hurry to play with the Xiaodu smart speaker in the room and forgot to take a picture. I have travelled around the world and I felt like home in this hotel. The quality of the rooms for the price is amaizing. This hotel is really cheap for the good place. Even so, the best thing the hotel has so far is the service on front desk. All the workers are super nice and really helpful all the time. It’s difficult for foreigners to pay or access to different services in China. Thanks to the team, we were able to have amaizing stay and really warming experience. I really recommend.

The room is super clean, the projection is great, you can project the screen with your mobile phone, the mattress is very soft and the bedding is very comfortable. The hotel also provides free laundry service, which is really considerate. I praise Guoguo at the front desk by name. The service is very professional and thoughtful. I will choose this hotel next time.

The house is very comfortable and clean~ The house is in a very good location, right in the center of the city. It is also very convenient to go shopping around. It is very close to the subway station and has convenient transportation. I highly recommend it to friends who come to Shanghai to stay.

We had a wonderful experience with the Guisu property for an 8-day stay. For a group of 5, this was much more convenient and cost-effective than having to book separate hotel rooms. I booked this room for my family, who was visiting China for the first time. Communicating with the host was very easy, and they responded very fast to any inquiry, sending over items, such as house slippers, within minutes upon request. Our communication was all in Chinese, so it may be helpful to have someone familiar with the language. What my family liked most about Guisu was that they felt like they were immersed in the city, experiencing the real life of a Chinese neighborhood, which a hotel may not be able to provide. The property was next to an elementary school, and while we were woken up each day by the sound of the children, it was nevertheless a pleasant, authentic, experience. The amenities and facilities all worked well, and the kitchen is stocked with dishes and utensils. Even if you are not cooking yourself, it is convenient to have all of this on hand. I would certainly recommend Guisu Homestay to other friends visiting Shanghai. The location near West Nanjing Road made it easy to walk everywhere, such as to People's Square or nearby parks. It is also close enough to the metro station, for a quick ride to other popular areas or train stations.

Check-in wasn’t a good experience, but the hotel was okay after that. When I first checked-in, the room key cards I was given didn’t work, which was frustrating as the room was one of the furthest from reception. This meant I had to go all the way back for new keys after a long day. I just wanted to relax! Then the second room I was given didn’t match the photos on Trip.com, in particular it didn’t have a real window, looking over the dining area rather than outside. But when finally settled into the third room, the stay was okay. It was supposedly an upgrade, but it only looked like the room I had booked. The location is the big plus: right on Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street which leads to the Bund, both iconic locations that are great to visit. I didn’t have the breakfast as there were no spare seats, so I went to a nearby McDonald’s instead. The hotel needs to enlarge its dining area.
